Hey guys! I’ve been seeing freezer paper being used in the craft room so I thought I would give it a try so I made these cute coin pockets for junk journals. I hope you like the video. 💕

Those pockets look awesome, Tracy! Thanks for sharing. Have you tried ironing a flat sheet of parchment paper to the freezer paper and then crinkling it? I'm wondering if that would have a different feel to it, or perhaps, the additional weight from the freezer paper might make it hard to crinkle after adhering it to parchment paper. Like you, I'm always trying new ways to make faux leather paper because it looks beautiful and feels a bit like worn leather.
I made faux leather paper from parchment paper, but I didn't adhere it to freezer paper. Instead, I used very thin double-sided tape to put two sheets together. You're right about parchment paper being so thin on its own. I tried that too, single sheets, and while it worked well, a single sheet is just too thin. Two sheets of parchment paper taped together and then crinkled up feels really cool. I think it's from the coating on the parchment paper.
I did two videos on these to show my viewers. In the first video, I talked about the various faux leather papers you've made, so I provided a link to your channel. Maybe some of my viewers stopped by to subscribe to your channel.

Thank you so much! I’m so glad you like them. No,I haven’t tried ironing a flat sheet to the freezer paper. Like you said I think it would make it hard to crinkle since you wouldn’t be able to spray it with water because it won’t adhere.
I usually don’t use parchment paper or tissue paper for faux leather unless I’m glueing it onto something like card stock. I may have to try sticking two pieces together.
