    Doing it! Watched a bunch of vids of people using shower rods or wood frames or PVC and damn! This seems way simpler and just as secure. And my SUV has front and back Oh, Shit! handles so I'll be using those--no hardware needed! Thanks!

    Nice job. I will actually use this method. I have tried the clothes rod concept but it was a fail. Simple, clean and removable.

    Great video. I was able to drill a 1/4 inch hole in each hook in the back, slip a carabiner in it, and attach the twisting bungees that way. Thanks for the info.

    Hunting tip #1 you can use your on piss just like expensive rinks 69
    It works just as good
    Hunting tip#2 baking soda and water is all you buying in the scent killers
    Just use straight baking soda ya gun should be something other than just blued before you do this or clean it after every hunt
    Fishing tip #1 using liver as bait wrap it in a panty hose and tie it to your hook
    #2 take some 2liter Coke jugs burn multiple holes with a hot nail in the jug
    Fill it with dog ration food put top back on tie a rope on it toss it in your favorite fishing hole
    The dog food swells up seeping out the holes like a chum line
    Tip make several put at ya fishing spot 3 days before yo plan on fishing
    And you'll be the guy who knows where the fish is biting
    Tip # 3 you can catch gar fish with a piece of nylon rope no hook needed
    In a survival situation
    Tip#4 after you fillet your catch find a culvert that always holds water at the end even in dry times of no rain
    Dump your heads there and every time it dries up that hole will be full of crawfish perch and watch out moccasins
    To fish with because moccasins are good bait everyone kills and tosses them in water ...

    I gotta disagree this isnt a good hack. The bungee will sag if u put a lot of rods on it and swing and bounce when u drive possiblye damaging the rods and the interior. You can just buy a car rod rack on amazon for 15$. It's2 straps with velcro and its perfect. I had your bungee idea in my car for years and my paint in my van is all scratched up from the rods bouncing around and rods have gotten damaged too. You want your rods secured with a material that doesn't stretch. Just my 2 cents.

    • @jrm163
      @jrm163 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So the straps won’t have the same issue?

    • @miamiwax5504
      @miamiwax5504 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jrm163 You can adjust the tension and they won't swing much. The bungees aren't good. .

    • @cashonly6117
      @cashonly6117 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So if you just put more twist on the bungees, would that help minimize the bounce. I was looking for diy ideas. Guess that would really bounce in the bed of a truck. Will get those strong magnets with hooks and straps from Harbor Freight and stretch from one side of the truck bed to the other.

    • @miamiwax5504
      @miamiwax5504 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cashonly6117 I did that exact same thing with the twists. Its worth it to just buy the rack from Amazon. It's really inexpensive. You want to use a material that doesn't have any stretch/bounce.

  • @harrisonremedios8430
    @harrisonremedios8430 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Why didn’t you just hook the bungees directly on the cloths hanger

    • @virginiasolomon9352
      @virginiasolomon9352 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not good with physics are you? see how it's not a closed loop hook? Think those bungees are just going to stay put while you drive around with rods stuck in them? What a nutty question... also see those things at the end of my questions? They're called question marks... USE 'EM.

    • @harrisonremedios8430
      @harrisonremedios8430 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Virginia Solomon Hey captain superiority complex. If you have the right length bungees the tension will hold them on, and since the hook opening faces upwards their not just gonna instantly fall off
