Yea me to bro and yes he was he had the most pass rushing skills ever of all time he wasn’t the biggest fastest or strongest but his skill set was way ahead of everybody else in my opinion he is better than wille Lanier and Bobby bell but they was great also and now they have mahones and Kelsey and those guys was all chiefs they was drafted there and played their careers there priest Holmes didn’t fit damn if he wasn’t the chiefs best all time back
But bro nobody can say your wrong about choosing him because I do actually agree with your opinion and I could be wrong but I believe that him and Barry was offensive and defensive rookies of the year and the reason I’m saying this is because I always though that was special because when u watched them both you was always on your heels because u knew they was capable of changing the game on any play and I’m my opinion that’s the greatest two players that was drafted representing both sides of the ball offensive and defensive those was the faces
At Alabama he sacked QB's, blocked punts, blocked field goals, recovered fumbles, intercepted passes, he did everything! He was the best player in the history of Alabama football IMO.
This is a YOUNG HEBREW ISRAELITE MAN WHO SHOULD BE HONORED INTO THE PRO FOOTBALL 🏈 HALL OF FAME. He was Outstanding, Humble, And Loving 🥰 Father & Friend. Please Please add Derrick Thomas’ Name to The List Of One Of The Greatest Players to Play The Game. Thank You
I was at game 11 in Denver, 1998, heard Sharpe jabbing DT, loved it at the time. Then found different way to look at Sharpe's taunting talk at Thomas. DT was badass, reacted to Sharpe, got kicked out of game, never played again, died 2 years later. Sticks and Stones?
Derrick Thomas - amazing football player...he'll always rest in my memory. What a shame that his parents attempted to sue GM after Thomas crashed his vehicle, wearing no seatbelt, traveling 100 mph in a snow storm. People like his parents should be exported from the country, and banned from American life. They are the reason (and I speak from the perspective of a business owner), along with corrupt government officials, that goods and services cost us twice what thay should.....lawsuit abuse.
No doubt a great athlete but not a great man. He was a fool who partied relentlessly ("social director of the NFL he was labeled) , burned through millions, had seven children by a multitude of women, never took responsibility for them, left no will for his heirs ( so the State got almost all his money) and died stupidly by speeding in the snow and not wearing a seat belt and killing his friend. Wasted life. Great sports memories but just numbers in a book ultimately.
R.I.P. Derrick Thomas
Just so honored to have seen him play. Great man.

He’s the greatest Crimson Tide of all time. He was king of Tuscaloosa and Kansas City.

Rest DT
Still remember the icy day he passed away. Know exactly where the spot is on I-435 between 169 and I-29
I was always curious where this accident happened. Thought it was around I-435 & N. Woodland Ave.?
That's my friend Derrick Thomas I really miss him
Quarterbacks couldn’t juke Derrick Thomas to buy more time, he could adjust and explode to the ball with ease.
