Thank you for the nice comment. We are back at it after missing a video due to some circumstances that we could not rectify in time to do a video.

You will really like the trains, as the museum had an excellent turn out of very early locomotives, a McKeen motor car and a bunch of other really interesting stuff. Thanks for watching as usual !

It’s good to see another video. I didn’t see one last week and was concerned something possibly happened. What can I say? We’re getting old and as one lady told me, “We are now the ones sitting on the front row at the funerals.” 🥴 See ya on the next one. 👍

We had planned a video last week, but ran into some technical problems that prevented us from doing one. More video's coming, so keep watching.

We like our garlic. I didn't think about wearing your Garlic shirt till I had already done the videoing. I have done some cutting with the little Frontier, and it works pretty good. Just put the new clutch drum on today, and my new chain should be here soon, so I can Giver The Garlic, and see how it does with everything up to snuff.

That's a pretty good garlic haul! Especially in such a small area.
I have a very similar lawnboy, I believe it's also a '72. I love how quiet it is compared to other pushmowers. And the smell of 2 stroke exhaust roasting wet grass clippings is pretty unique. I don't use it much cause it's only 19" and I have a lot to mow so I use a rider, but I agree with the offset wheels, very easy to maneuver. Keep em comin!

I really like mowing with my Lawn Boy's. I don't have a very big lawn, so the 19" is adequate for mowing it. I have a 21" Lawn Boy that is a lot more powerful and is self propelled also, and would be ideal for a much bigger lawn.. Vintage is best !

Amen brother! I modify all my 2-stroke engine exaust pipes! The EPA has picked the exaust pipe to be one of the parts that supposed to save the world from all that pollution a 2-cycle engine is causing! Wrong thing to mess with folks! You cannot restrict the exaust of a 2-stroke engine like they're doing to all this equipment these days! For example, Just take a look at any of the old saws that were made back in the sixties and early seventies and they were wide open so that the super heated gasses were expelled immediately away from the exaust port of the engine! That is because the piston is traveling so fast in a 2-stroke engine ( And some of these newer chainsaws are turning 14000 thousand RPM! Wrap your head around that kind of speed folks!) That it will actually draw the exaust heat back inside the cylinder when the piston is traveling back down the cylinder! So, If you are someone like Mr obsolete or myself that eats, Breathe, and sleep 2-strokes engines you will understand that it is failure in a very short time of use to do such thing! I guarantee you that the EPA has no concept of such issues that arise by doing such a idiotic thing as putting baffles and I have even pulled out steel wool from inside of my exaust pipe on a newer homelite hand held blower! Stihl BG55 blower has a spark arrestor in the exaust pipe that is your no start problem nine times out of ten because the fine mesh screen gets gummed up from the oil mixture in the fuel. And i always tell people that if you're piece of equipment is blowing sparks out of the exaust, Then you are definitely doing it the wrong way! I mix all of my 2-stroke fuel 50:1 and I never have any issues with any of the 70+ chainsaws, weedwackers, blowers, ect... I live in Portland Oregon where the rules are that you are to have a spark arrestor in your chainsaw if you're cutting firewood on federal owned land. And I abide by that rule! It makes sense to not start the forest on fire! But why are they putting spark arrestors in all equipment that is yard care only? I tell you truth that it's not a matter of if, It's when it will bake your piece of equipment!😉

The EPA has a bunch of educated idiots that don't know the difference between a spark plug and recoil starter. I was in the automotive industry for many years and had numerous contacts with them, and the common denominator was that none of them had any practical experience, were not qualified for their job, and had read a book or attended a seminar and figured they knew everything. Having a spark arrestor/ baffle in the exhaust is good, as all 2 strokes need a bit of back pressure to operate best, but many times they overdue it trying to make the equipment quiet. The other problem is the synthetic oils. Most make a lot of ash, which plugs up the spark arrestors, and can be just as detrimental to the piston etc. as carbon. I started using chainsaws in 1980, and always used partial synthetic oils, and I have never had carbon, ash, or seizures with it. I have never had to do any rebuilds on any of my old saws, some with over 42 years of service, which are used every month of the year. All the newer saws I have purchased to replace my old saws with, all just wore out, as I used 50:1 with their synthetic oils. I run my old saws anywhere from 24:1 to 40:1 depending on the air temp and how hard I am working the saws.

My 28 year old Ahrens snowblower has the carb float bowl drain. Great feature. Original parts and finally after 26 years it needed the needle jets cleaned.
What year is your Lawn Boy?
