Please pray for me to be forgiven by Jesus like this woman and be released from this long lasting depression and despair, with a hope to live a new life as his daughter in mercy of Jesus Christ.
The absolute courage Jesus portrayed. He KNEW! He knew exactly what was to come and he went forward anyway. I sometimes cancel doctor appointments because I hate needles, but Jesus saw the most brutal type of death was waiting for him. I couldn't imagine the fear he dealt with, and he went through it anyway. For you and me. Thank you so much God! Thank you so much for your perfect Son. I am not worthy of your love and infinite forgiveness. I ask that you bestow me with even the tiniest fraction of courage your Son possessed on his last day. Thank you for always watching out for me when I clearly don't deserve your holy vigilance!!!
Nice. We ALL, need to say that little Mantra/Prayer every morning when we wake up! You are HUMAN, you are not alone in discovering a new path tread well, and long, and bever look back.
Such a true representation of the rejection of Jesus Christ in today’s world even after 2000 years nothing has changed. I accept Jesus as my lord and saviour and always will. God bless
Problem was...as is now, to be "accepted and convert anyone" you needed to play "The Game" with exisiting Faiths, Rules and Systems, does not mean any of it had or has ANY value at all, as a total rejection even if these are wrong would result in Chaos and at best isolation.
I would rather have a good person who doesn’t believe, than an evil person who does believe in the faith of God. I think in a diverse world we live in we need to be more open minded and patient to those who can do good in our world. I’m no man with answers on how, I can only trust in the teachings of Jesus.
And which day that passes that rejection will be more accounted for, as that was another day wasted. And that applies to all of us, who claim to follow Jesus but don't really do much besides going to church on sundays

I like how the first Pharisee storms out like the others, but the second responds, "For Burial?", as if he knows exactly what's coming, and he has an idea that Jesus does too
I love this scene because you see how Jesus goes from kind and loving towards Mary to angry towards Judas for what I understand, Jesus gets mad at Judas because he knows that kindness, understanding and love was not in his mind, instead he was thinking about money and greed under the guise of righteousness.
How dare he say "What a waste". If I could wash Christs feet, I would sell everything I had to find the most expensive and lavish oil that exists to do so. What a foolish thing to say to your creator. To even be in his presence while here on earth is beyond a dream, it's beyond goals, it's beyond anything this world has to offer. To be with him, even for a moment would feel like total human completion, and Judas had the audacity to think anything could ever be wasted on the One True King. What makes me love Jesus Christ even more is he is not boastful, or a braggart. He never flashes his power or threatens to ever use it. If he wanted to, he could blow a wind your way and you would cease to exist in a blink of an eye. Yet, he is perfect. In everyway, he is perfection personified. He is what we dream to become and model ourselves after. Nothing will ever be wasted on a being like him.
Judas had a major flaw; Judas was a "lover of money" and not a lover of God. What Mary did was past beautiful and cannot be downplayed. She anointed him for burial; what an honor she gave to him; and also washing his feet with her tears.
With power came controll. The sanhedrian thought they were going to lose their grip on the Jews. Notice how JESUS told Shmuel that head coverings were NOT in the Torah, but only tradition. The Pharasese (sp) were consumed with the letter of the law and FORGOT to read its teaching about the Messiah. I LOVE THIS WHOLE EPISODE!!!!
He knows exactly what's coming and what He has to do. Tears are in my eyes right now. Thank you, Savior. I love you for saving me when I dont deserve it.
He who will shut the mouths of kings . Blessed be the name of Jesus the Christ who brought God into the midst of humanity whilst in form . The gentleness and the power are awesome . All who call upon his name are heard and all of humanity is loved beyond and forever .
I had a friend who had a few days to live. I did all could to spend the last hours of her life together. The priorities were to love her as much as I could in those few short hours. I could always make more money, but she was out of time. No regret with all the money I spent on her.
Judas was more concerned about earthly riches than seeing his Savior being anointed before being crucified. Remember that the love of money is the root of all evil.

I think the Chosen organization shifted the emphasis of this passage to one of great love on the part of Mary, the sister of Lazarus, and choosing to emphasize his upcoming death and resurrection as well as the position of many Pharisees and the coming out of Judas...nothing is mentioned in the episode about Jesus "forgiving a sinful woman"
I’m confused…this scene is different that what’s in Luke and a lot of things they say are not in the actual scripture…isn’t that tampering with what is in the Bible vs what’s not?

Actually, the better Bible passages this is illustrating is from John 12:1-8 or Mark 14:3-9 or Matthew 26:6-13. Most think the Luke passage is refering to a different time. The passages from the other places are more specific for this situation, and the John passages refers to it being Mary, the sister of Lazarus and Martha; it would have taken place after Lazarus had been raised from the dead. Mary understood clearly Jesus' worthiness to be praised lavishly. May we all.
There were two women anointed the feet of Jesus❤the first one was the real sinful one😢 next one is Mary sister of Martha and Lazarus❤ she's not the sinful woman❤
The LORD knew the heart of HIS Daughter but never did the pharasee fools. Just like in these days - the Church priests misleading people from reaching the LORD.
So I’m not the most educated among Catholics. What I struggle to understand is, the Pharisee speaks of abominations and understandings of acts committed in that room. Jesus’ gospel is what we know to this day. But I always wondered what “beliefs” or “followings” the Pharisee were going off to condemn the Son of God as a blasphemer. Like what was the original text the Pharisee were educated on prior to the gospel.

THE CRUCIFIXION😨😨 *4:23
What did she do that was sinful?
Actually, the better Bible passages this is illustrating is from John 12:1-8 or Mark 14:3-9 or Matthew 26:6-13. Most think the Luke passage is refering to a different time. The passages from the other places are more specific for this situation, and the John passages refers to it being Mary, the sister of Lazarus and Martha; it would have taken place after Lazarus had been raised from the dead. Mary understood clearly Jesus' worthiness to be praised lavishly. May we all.
There were two women anointed the feet of Jesus❤the first one was the real sinful one😢 next one is Mary sister of Martha and Lazarus❤ she's not the sinful woman❤
that look that Jesus gave Judas 02:04 😂😂😂😂
😂😂

Yes! God is Great ALL the time!
There is no such thing as Jesus gospel.
If you are a Catholic, open the bible and read. It is never too late to learn.
She never said "blessed are you king of the universe"
I like these series but it was at the Pharisees house that this was done to Jesus, not at Lazarus’s house.
