Vancouver Island(10) - Big Tree Trail Meares Island, Tofino 4K

Big Tree Trail is one of the top trails in Tofino. It is located in Meares Island, a 10 min water taxi (boat) from Tofino Harbor. If you don't have enough time or budget to go to Hot Spring Cove, then choose this one.
It's an amazing adventure through untouched rainforest and scenery boat trip. The first 1/3 trail is a rustic boardwalk, very nice. The rest 2/3 trail is muddy, slippery and a little big technical terrain. Wear a pair of water proof hiking boots is must.
