On 2002 X5 E53 - this is completely unnecessary to remove whole fixture. Changing bulbs (any of them) does not need assembly removal - Only 2nd air intake on passenger side, and air filter housing on drivers side / this will give you access to the bulbs. If replacing entire headlight fixture - You only need to remove the thin trim panel underneath the headlight assembly and screws to get it out. Recommend upgrades to LED from Halogen since they are now brighter.
The one you called "parking light" is actually the high beam bulb. By default they run as DRLs.
Thanks for the video, that really helps!

On a 06 facelift you actually do have to remove the headlight to get to the two bottom torx to remove the cover for factory xenon’s
THANK YOU!
Thanks
Good info 👍
Right here
What type of the bulbs use for all?
Not good! too much for bulb replacement!!
Typical bmw... always taking the wjole car apart for the simplest fixes
Not for the weak or the dull
This will not work on a 2005 x5 4.4l bmw need to remove complete bumper cover to access bolts next to radiator.
This is not E53.
All this BS just to replace a bleeping lowbeam bulb ~ WTF???
Crazy
this is so extremely stupid 😂😂 bulbs should be easily accessible!!! even parking light is not accessible, stupidity level max
