So the system supposedly monitors the battery status, and adjusts charging accordingly, but then cannot adjust to a new battery. How does that make sense? This seems like very poor software design. Added to which, how hard would it be to incorporate an interface that is essentially just a form on the dash screen in which you just enter the new battery details? And do batteries really last longer as a result of this system?

i was told its LCM but just disconnected battery and ran flat, reset ECU connected and all working fine

Jesus christ, if it wasn't for my wife and her small hands I never would have gotten the new ones in. Lol. Got them out no problem, getting my hand inside to twist them back in no beuno.

Do you take off the inner tail light assembly from that panel?
