I recently visited NC and took my ultralight spinning setup to Nantahala river and caught 7 trout. It got me wanting to try fly fishing, and I had never heard of Tenkara until your videos. Now I’m leaning more towards tenkara. Yea you right.

Solitary fishing is a spiritual thing......a connection to nature. I appreciate all your videos, keep them coming. You're one of the diehards as you fish in all sorts of weather. I worked in New Orleans years ago and I know how hot and humid it gets. Good on you, yeah you're right!

I don't have Tenkara gear, but i bet just using my normal fly rod and line i could fish like this. Been wanting to do that since i watched you tenkara fish a long time ago. This video convinced me i have to do that.
