The most amazing tip I've heard for awhile. Most designers seem to 'tell' flipping your page around is bad practice. Most of times it's the most comfortable and best thing to do

Loved the walk through and explanation of the sketching/rendering process. Exploded views are great for seeing how everything fits together! Always had to do them in my mechanical engineering courses.

Amazing explanation. You got me excited for adding markers to my sketching process, maybe I should try it out.

Lol "instead of attacking the paper with a pen..." Awsome formations man great work, the way you drop those ellipses in looks easy. Thanks for the vid.

I have a question I’m thinking about being an industrial designer so : 1 will I be responsible for only the outer design of the product or will I also need to design the motor blades or whatever is inside that product that will make it work 2 what school subjects are going to be asked by college 3 does it have a lot of technology stuff like programming etc or just need to know how few apps work Please if anybody knows answers answer me. Thank you

Industrial design student here in my last year. Don’t know if the answer is a little late, but we don’t necessarily need to design any of the mechanics, that is for the engineers to solve. But one of the biggest struggles within some companies is the lack of mechanical knowledge by designers, since the designs created often need reworking due to it not being feasible from an engineering standpoint. So teaching yourself some basics outside of school or taking some extra courses is always a good way to distinguish yourself on the market. Best regards from Sweden!

thanks!! Prismacolor: Verithin and Scholar. The verithin ones are less bright but hold a sharp point, and the Scholar ones are great for filling in larger sections.

Love your work. Any chance you would like to do a seminar at Dhaka Bangladesh? If it can be arranged?

How long does it take you to complete a sketch like this? I know it's sped up in 8 minuets. Maybe about 30-40?

Usually around an hour. This one took a bit more care re: the array of ellipses. 1hr 30mins
