Thank you so much for this effort, it is really helpful and your way in teaching and saying the information is really understandable 🌟 PLEASE DO MORE VIDEOS LIKE THIS WE NEED IT.
Try to get rid of your “hen scratching” in your sketching, specifically in you development phase. As you said yourself be confident in your lines. Great ideas and video. Where did you get the camera setup? Also mention thick and thin lines, as you do it anyway.
According to Dieter Rams, good design: Is innovative Makes a product useful Is aesthetic Makes a product understandable Is unobtrusive Is honest Is long-lasting Is thorough down to the last detail Is environmentally friendly Involves as little design as possible
True. Sadly he also said he regrets being a product designer because it encourages or encouraged people to buy "stuff" they don't need. Which I get. His work is awesome. Nothing random about choosing Braun or DR. But whether we need things is debatable. Do I need a razor? You betcha. We have been designing since the first flint ax. I don't think the wheel was a "product " or as intentional. But hey Yeh. Renderers Remorse lol
11:08 "TO TAKE A PRODUCT.. FIGUREOUT WHAT ITS USED FOR.. AND STRIP EVERY OTHER FEATURE.." Damn.. Johnny Ive Been reading the same book u read or u read his books haha.. Soo.. Now we understand y Ive removed the Jack haha
If a lot of people buy it and enjoy it, then it was the right decision. Maybe you dont like it, I myself prefer to have a headphone jack, but it wouldnt be the first time people go "oh, why would they do that, its a horrible idea" just to be proven wrong.
It’s called an ELMO. But they are expensive, inflexible and the picture is not high quality. Just purchase a C-Stand, a DSLR and a usb capture card. Same price but more control and better picture quality.
if youre talking about the very first pen hes using its a papermate flair theyre super cheap like €1 or €2 and theyre fantastic for different line weights
but who the hell decided to merge UX/UI as product design, I don't know what to believe anymore. I want to do product design but all I see are concepts of apps.
This guy praises apple, then knocks HP for aesthetic over actual usability ect... Apple costs twice as much for more or less the same hardware... Simply because it's flashy...

"good design is as little design as possible" - my take away from this lesson.
I listened to the beginning like a podcast
The gap between two videos make it little bit complicated in understanding but afterall its a great video for beginners.
This was great video, i actually ended up sketching a speaker i was using with my laptop! The time difference was a bit annoying but great info.
It would have been great to see the presentation slides.
a 3d printer on your bedroom desk! Epic idea!
😂😂
timing difference makes it very confusing......
please show me the slide of presentation.
Thank you So much, It is very inspiring
It's cool, you're the man, very helpful in learning
for syncing the audio download the video and sync the audio for +38 second by pressing J while playing on VLC
horrible timing in between teacher and images ... disturbing
ur picture too is disturbing
yeap, but it is deliberate, not a horrible mistake :P
Teaching Style is very engaging
Where can we view the book with all the forms in it you discussed in the beginning of the video.

Pity about the lag between voice and sketching - otherwise great video, thank you!
love the videos. Shabazz.
what type of Pen are you using? : )
I have the same question ...
if youre talking about the very first pen hes using its a papermate flair theyre super cheap like €1 or €2 and theyre fantastic for different line weights

awesome video, however annoying that the two videos differentiate after a couple of minutes
Video and audio not in sync, nice intro to product design though..

There is lag in the video the more you watch it.

Show me the projected screen not the lecturer!!!!

the content is fantastic, but maan, the timing ruins much of it.

Apple designs their products to last. Wait what?
Had to stop watching at 39 minutes because the video of the drawing and the video+audio of the person is about 30 seconds out of sync.
