Curious how you came up with these numbers. The Elevation is a new trim for 2025 so it's kind of comparing apples to oranges when comparing it to any trim in 2024. The AT4 is a trim that preexisted in 2024. I just found the window sticker of both a 2024 and 2025 AT4 Yukon. The 2024 MSRP standard vehicle price is $71,505 and the MSRP standard vehicle price on a 2025 AT4 Yukon is $73,700. This would only be 3.07% increase from the 2024 year model. These numbers are only for the "Standard Vehicle Price". The options and packages have changed in the new refresh so I believe it would be difficult to make a fair comparison including those. I also found a 2023 Window Sticker for an AT4 Yukon and the standard vehicle price for it was $71,700

RAM and Jeep are rumored to cut prices by 35% at a minimum in 1st quarter of 2025. GMC will have to follow suit or we will simply go buy a Grand Wagoneer
I had a Yukon Denali and traded that in for a SLT Yukon. 5.3 has plenty of power and don’t have to put premium fuel in it like the 6.2. Like the fixed running boards over the power as the power running boards had so many problems, would not deploy or retract all the time. You can get just about every option the Denali has without the crazy sticker price.

Was looking at the denali, but this is a way better price if you want the diesel, and it arguably looks better with the blackout package. Also, I'd prefer the smaller wheels, I've had 22s on my truck, and you definitely feel them.

My Elevation has the tech package that even comes with Super Cruise, and the price was basically the same as the Tahoe which didn't have the same options. The only advantage the Premier has is the 6.2 engine, which was fine because I dont want to pay for premium gas.

2025 has 15.6 % over the 2024 price increase in one year! And thats just the base price. It will only grow after you add options. That Brings the Yukon up to just under 35% price increase since 2019. Normal price increase per year for GMC Yukon's is about 2.5%. So in my opinion they are overpriced by a good 20%. So for this 80k Yukon, it should be sitting at about 64k. As much as we want one, we will just keep waiting until they figure out, we are not going to pay this much anymore. Time to hold out and wake up the car industry America! We will pay a fair price not this way overpriced crap!
I have an 8" screen which is more then plenty in my opinion, I can see these new big screens and with all the gloss black will be covered in dust an fingerprints constantly.
You said this Yukon Elevation does not come with the adjustable air ride suspension, but what about the Magnaride, does it come with that? Thanks. I'm actually hoping it doesn't, because then it will be easier to do a 3" lift and add larger 35" tires after market, something I'd love to do to the new Yukon Denali or AT4 Ultimates but their air ride and magnaride complicate doing so.
We have the rear media and if you have kids it's so worth it. The 2025 have TH-cam, TH-cam kids, and HULU programed into it so you don't have to worry about a firestick or anything on this model. I think the rear media has gotten a bad rap and it's really unwarranted imo.

the absolute lowest MSRP on a 2WD Suburban is $66,700. This one is 4WD, has ventilated seats, rear media, sunroof, HUD, animated lighting, heated steering wheel, heated 2nd row seats, power 2nd and 3rd row, power folding side view mirrors, 10 speakers sound system, rear view mirror camera, memory seat settings, 20 inch wheels.. seems like quite a few extra options to me... Now is it worth an extra 10K.. that's debatable, but you do get quite a few features with the Elevation premium package.
You can add power running boards after market for 2k. For 10-12k I can do without a telescoping steering wheel. I also think they do have a black option for the Elevation for like 1600 bucks. What I dont get is I like the other 22" machine faced wheels on the white paint. That is a 3295 option. That 800 bucks per wheel and tire! Do I get to keep the 20's that come with it at least, my goodness GM that is a ridiculous price!
We just bought a 25 Yukon Elevation with the Elevation black package. The SUV is an absolute road trip champion! As far as swapping 20's for 22's - Yeah, you keep them. You paid for them and they're yours (unless you negotiate a discount in exchange). Twice I've had dealerships/upfitters attempt to keep wheels, grills, steps, etc which were being upgraded. Heck no! Those are mine and I'm keeping them. We ended up selling the original parts and made back a lot of our expenses from upgrading.
I'm not a big fan of everything controlled with the flat screen. I prefer to have physical buttons with different shapes and locations so I can feel for them and not have to look for them. A lot of people feel this way from what I see. But the manufactures continue to eliminate them in favor of a big flat screen. I guess there is a cost savings to have everything on the flat screen and so they continue to move in that direction. Those physical buttons along the bottom of the flat screen don't cut it. They are all the same size and difficult to find the one you want without having to look. The 21 to 24 years, in my opinion, have the best mix of physical buttons and a flat screen.

If it has a v8, GM screwed it with the oil pan. Full stop. - Look for the video on Bank's Replacement Oil Pan for GM and you'll see. Leaving a full quart of used oil in the pan and pickup line is not good for any engine.

I agree with the value proposition on these vs any higher trim but people want that status symbol appearance is really want it boils down too

I just googled 2024 SLT is 67K before options. The 2025 Elevation is 69K. This Yukon has the Premium and Tech package, so that bumps it to around 80K

I like the screen on the tahoe better. And I'm not sure about this new style shifter.
I got the Elevation last week. The shifter is way better than the previous buttons. You just pull in slide up for R or down for Drive. Really simple.

I prefer knobs myself, but a lot of vehicles have rocker/ switch style controls, you get used to them.
