New Strut & Spring Assembly from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ib/1AST...
This video shows you how to install a rear strut and spring assembly on your 2006-2013 Chevrolet Impala. TRQ Struts are made to fit your vehicle exactly, just like the original part. Struts can wear out as early as 50,000 miles. You should inspect them regularly for leaks or wear. Save time, money, and hassle by replacing an entire strut assembly.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
    2006 Chevrolet Impala
    2007 Chevrolet Impala
    2008 Chevrolet Impala
    2009 Chevrolet Impala
    2010 Chevrolet Impala
    2011 Chevrolet Impala
    2012 Chevrolet Impala
    2013 Chevrolet Impala
    Tools you will need:

Thanks for this informative video. I did notice a common torque mistake on the wheel lug nuts. Torque is measured as the nut is tightened (running torque). The torque wrenched beeped right away indicating that the lug nut torque was greater than 100 ft lbs. Over torquing lug nuts can damage the wheel/lugs or make it impossible to change the tire out on the road without an impact wrench.

I love that it’s on a rusty car. I don’t think repair videos count if the car is brand new or super clean from down south. You’re missing the broken bolts, bloody knuckles and rust in the eyes!

So you don’t have to put the weight of vehicle back down before tightening strut bolts in the trunk? Good to know

I have a 2011 impala and Idk how he is able to get the ratchet on for the bottom strut bolt. There are some sensors in the way and I have no good angles. Any advice?

Qlll😯, at 3:34 in noticed on strut U were about to remove, the top circle was tilted, then on new one circle was flush.. I was 1dring if I’d have to take out strut(at least partially maybe totally), but now it looks like MAYBE they just make some of these struts with tiled top flat circle gizmos✋

makes 1 1dr thO, hUs the engineer that choose to tilt top circle?🤔, btw, I’ve noticed no one(very few people) say what year impala they’re working on, & I’ve heard there ARE differances. for example top bolts & sway bar link torques specs agreed with my 12-13 model, but fat lower boots on mine should be 120(not 89).
