    Great video, nice and clear. I appreciated the reminder on double checking the new part before installation. I’m sure many of us have been burned before by putting on a part and then realizing the connector wasn’t right.

    My 2005 has emergency brake shoe on wheel and the caliper for it is on with 2 T30 screws that are on the back and almost impossible to get at. Absolute nightmare to get those screws out after 17 winters needless to say I no longer have emergency brakes on that side.

    When you change the rear hub is there anything you have to mess with
    the parking brake cable or those funky little parking brake shoes, I did
    not see them?

    • @antcri730
      @antcri730 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This model does not have them. You have to disconnect the cable before you pull the hub out, the splash shield is also attached to the hub by torque screws that will probably strip. It's a royal pain.

      @jangles55 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@antcri730 My 2009 impala does have those funky little brake shoes, when I watched my mechanic friend do the left rear I watched him struggle getting all the pieces back in place, I posted because I was contemplating doing the RR myself. maybe not?
