I came to this conclusion many years ago, and have never since found any reason against it. The greatest, and above all the most essential. What would be life without Brahms? Unthinkable.
The second mvmt might be my favorite work ever written for piano trio

My 2nd favorite Brahms chamber piece. First being his clarinet quintet.
I don't remember seeing a combined time signature before. Very cool.

Emocionada, exquisita versión. Jamás superada ni igualada
Don't know why but the gypsy part at 3:22 I can't help but keep coming back too ❤️
Sublime!! Love it 🎶❤️
I'm slowly coming to a conclusion that Brahms was the best composer of 19th century
uhhhhhh what about liszt and Chopin and the countless other
@@mitchelllazore9050 what about them?
You can go fast and still come to the same conclusion.
Great, but not the greatest - that must be Beethoven.

Suk is wonderful--those portamentos!
