Mike congrats on getting scrappy flying for Oshkosh what an achievement! It was truly an honor to see it in person but even more so to meet you and Chandra. Keep up the great work and inspiring us all to get in to aviation. My 5 year old daughter came home from airventure and built her first plane out of cardboard. I asked her what she was going to do next and she said “Paint it like SCRAPPY!” Thank you again for taking the time to meet all of us fans at Oshkosh and keep up the great work!
That’s the best!! 🤠
This Is has got to be one of his best videos He has ever done. What a great tribute to his Wife and all that went into this Srappy Airplane build!! All the best from Canada.

My favorite build, from will to achievement...
Just goes o prove that anything is possible!
CONGRATULATIONS on a amazing build.
Mr. Patey, you've out done yourself on Scrappy. What an aircraft with unheard of amenities incorporated into it. Plus, it just looks so awesome. It's all well proportioned out Nothing looks out of place. Truly a job very well done.
remember when we all saw that prop and thought how giant it was, yet looking at it on scrappy it looks on proportion, which really says alot about the size of scrappy that I don't think I've fully appreciated.
We are deeply grateful that you shared this build with us from conception to completion and on to Oshkosh celebration!! 🎉❤️👏🏼
I know that filming, editing, producing, commenting and everything that goes along with TH-cam can be draining on time and efforts while sometimes you wonder if it’s even worth it. So thank you and Ron for giving of yourselves so freely so that we can follow along! It makes the mundane of corporate life bearable! I look forward to every and ANY video that you put out!
You are an inspiration for young and “old” alike. 😉 Many people say that you are “lucky” to have what you have but we, in the know, know that it’s not luck at all! Your hard work and dedication have blessed you with everything that you have worked so hard to build. You are truly one of the few heroes that I am proud to present as a role-model to our future generations. You are definitely the type of family man with the “Families can be together forever” ideals that I hope and pray I can be someday!
Congratulations on such a marvel of engineering and a model of what is possible!! Your videos keep us going! Keep up the great work Mike! Love you guys! ❤️👊🏼👍🏼👏🏼🙏🏼

You and your team are a total credit to yourselves Mike , amazing drive, focus and can do attitude and execution , stunning work indeed .
I'm so happy you achieved finishing Srappy to present her at Oskosh. Scrappy is a beast, powerful, plenty of inovative features, no one has ever seen before, this is the most sophisticated STOL ever built.
1:28 when you have to keep all your cars in your hangar because you didn't tell your wife about them
whoever that is (the guy letting mike use his hangar) has a sports car for every day of the week.
Literally so many of us have been here through the who experience of this journey. This honestly makes me tear up with joy. You are a true inspiration in my life Mike.
You need to get a FLIR Sensor ball (EO/IR) belly pod hooked up to that rear seat Garmin display for a “Rear Seat Sensor Operator” for search and rescue. Would make that a beast for an ISR Platform.
Thank you for everything you've done, are doing and will do for aviation Mike. Your passion is contagious!!!
Flew up to Oshkosh Saturday mostly to see scrappy. It was worth it. Well done!
It was so cool meeting you and seeing Scrappy in person. Congrats on getting the aircraft complete and on your new line with Best Tugs!!!!
Wow. The one we've been waiting for. Great day today.

Agreed. Scrappy is amazing. I doubt this will be the last insane project Mike takes on.
