I live in Denmark. Here we have BIG Beins..... the biggest is Heaven Mountain. It is in Jutland and is over 118 meters high.... yes. 118 meters. What a big Bein that is. The hills in Scotland are a wee bit bigger..... I love your video. Thanks.
First time I drove through Glencoe I thought how is this place connected to England I was awe struck. The flowing year my late mother and father took a trip up there as they had never been and I feel sad that they didn’t get up there more often. If they were still here they would love your videos just like I do. Me and my husband are hooked thank you Murray 😊

Another spectacular adventure Murray. Thanks so much for all the planning, early starts, and editing time it takes to bring us on these trips with you.
Me and my Son did a night walk up to Loch Nagar 1 night before the summer solstice a few years back and I thought that was a stunning sunrise, but that walk of yours to Ben Lawers and the sunrise was just breathtaking!! Certainly an idea for a future trip. Thanks for sharing!
Its a nice wee hike up Ben Lawers (in conditions like these) as the car park is at over 400m. However I was up there on Tuesday and conditions were rather different - blizzard on top and driving, rain, sleet and hail lower down - took a bit longer and was more of an endurance test!!lol Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray

Fantastic, I really enjoy watching and being inspired by your wonderful videos. Like you, Sgurr na Stri had been on my to do list for a few years and your video on your wild camp there was the trigger for me to do it back in August. Crossing Camasunary it was quite windy and I had doubts whether the summit would be too rough, but I pushed on leaving my brother-in-law who didn't fancy it to wild camp at sea level by the bothy. On reaching the summit it was no worse and I was able to find cover behind one of the many rocky outcrops. Drinking a warm coffee, looking across to the Cuillin ridge, and out across the sea to Rum, Eigg, Muck and Canna, I was a very happy walker. Unfortunately I missed out on a good sunrise as it was a bit drizzly when I awoke but I'd had a wonderful evening and a calm night. My brother-in-law however had had a very windy night at sea level! Out of interest how many cameras do you have to film your walk bys, are they Go Pros, does the setting up, walking past and then going back to pick them up add much time, or are you very polished at it now after all these videos?
wild camping on sgurr na stri is a fantastic spot , gald you got a nice sunset as the views are hard to beat up there :) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Hello Murray. Just wanted to let you know that my wife and I are addicted to your videos. You have inspired us to get out hiking more often. Thanks for the Stunning views again Murray. Those colours! As a Sassenach, you gota love Scotland. Remember getting to that same top once, in full thermal clobber. 2 young lads stood there nearly 4000ft up, in Celtic shorts and hoodies, old school satchels. One commented that ‘the wind chill cut right through ya’. What a place eh 👍 👍
a bit chilly at times in shorts up there for sure !! was up on Tuesday and not sure shorts would have survived the blizzard and strong winds !1lol ;) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Great wee video with awesome views. Watching your channel helped me convince my wife that we needed a camper van in our life. 🙌 Coincidentally, our first trip away in it together we attempted Beinn Ghlas/Ben Lawers, which was the first time my wife came along on a hike up a Munro. Unfortunately, the wind was too mental and thought it would be wise to turn back just off the top of Beinn Ghlas while we were still happily married. Just incredible, it is one of the best videos that I have seen about mountains and hiking. Such a good idea to go to the summit for the sunrise, I will also do it! Loch tay area is outstanding.
Thanks Luis, hope you enjoyed it , it was a great Autumn morning up on the mountain. I went back up there last week and the weather couldn't have been more different - full on winter conditions and rather stormy and blizzard like !! Thanks Kisilvan, been saving for years and years for the van and must say makes sitting up in the morning a little easier than in the car (no more smashing my head off the roof!!lol Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Great video of a couple of local hills, you had me foxed going through Killin, thought you were going up Ben More. Was like a scene from a sci-fi movie when you came out the van door 👽Beautiful colours in the sunrise, your timelapse was stunning.
Thanks Jeg - in terms of Ben More - stay tuned (I mentioned a 2am start in this video #spoiler alert). I may have been in its vicinity a few weeks before this earlier in the autumn (i may also have experienced an inversion to make this one look weak ;) lol Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Thanks Jamie - hope it helped ! got a few more vlogs from back in the summer and autumn en route which will hopefully make your morning in the coming weeks Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Absolutely breathtaking!! I would kill to be at the top of a mountain for that sunrise and inversion.....but I draw the line at getting up at 3.30am 😲😂
Thanks Stuart - yeah - what you didnt see was the hoards of people I met on the way down !! (understandable as it was such a nice day). Was a different experience coming off the hill as opposed to the climb up it . The car park was mobbed and the wee road almost un passable with cars left abandoned at the side of the road ... However it was a stunning day and many people would've had a blast :) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Hi Murray, just watched your latest episode and oh my god the views are amazing and what made it even better was watching it on my tv instead of the iPad. Stay safe and I’m already looking forward to your next adventure. Hope you have a great Christmas
Truly wonderful video Murray. Some superb night time images rounded off with an absolutely stunning sunrise and inversion. Great way to spend a Wednesday evening watching your vlog. Thanks you sharing and stay safe.
Thanks Tony, hope you enjoyed it. It was a fantastic hike - much different to my trip up Ben Lawers on Tuesday where it was full on winter conditions - a little less enjoyable and more a battle of endurance!! :) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Thanks - very much appreciated -0 the van is awesome - really looking forward to some more camper van adventures in 2021 (fingers crossed!) Happy Christmas Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Absolutely glorious!! That starry time lapse, the cloud inversion, and the sunrise atop Ben Lawers were just magnificent. This would have to be my new favourite video of yours, loved it!!
Thanks Jacqui, very much appreciated- if you liked the starry timelapse then there me be a segment in next Wednesdays video that you may enjoy :) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
have to agree with you:) catching the start of the day and it lighting up the mountains is the best part of the day (providing the weather is favourable :) ) One of the reasons I think wild camping up high too - can catch the end of the day as well as the start :) Thanks for Watching ATB Murray
Its must be pushing it to call Ghlas a Munro - as you say Alistair, just a bump on the way to Ben Lawers ;) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Another outstanding offering. A simple but beautiful adventure, and yes, I noted that curious geological feature when I ski-toured back towards Lawers village one time.
Thanks Graham - its well worth the short detour to check out the wee cleft and feature on the side of the mountain :) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Stunning footage yet again. You always deliver the views (even when it's raining ;-). I wonder if that star above your head at 9:06 is in fact Jupiter. Would be fantastic to have a clear sky for the 'Great Conjunction' on December 21 with Saturn. All the best Murray and many thanks again. :-)
Thanks Mark, yeah would be nice if we get clear skies for that event for sure (not too sure what clear skies are like now as it seems to be months since we have had any!1lol) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray

I may have been in its vicinity a few weeks before this earlier in the autumn (i may also have experienced an inversion to make this one look weak ;) lol

Morning Murray, watching this at 8am Saturday 19th Dec.
Thank you so much ! 👏👏
On a dreary Essex day, it's made my morning 😊
Happy Christmas 🍻
Thanks Jamie - hope it helped ! got a few more vlogs from back in the summer and autumn en route which will hopefully make your morning in the coming weeks

Absolutely breathtaking!! I would kill to be at the top of a mountain for that sunrise and inversion.....but I draw the line at getting up at 3.30am 😲😂
Magnificent Murray ! Not surprised you left to stay overnight, busiest car park in Scotland that place.
However it was a stunning day and many people would've had a blast :)

Hi Murray, just watched your latest episode and oh my god the views are amazing and what made it even better was watching it on my tv instead of the iPad. Stay safe and I’m already looking forward to your next adventure. Hope you have a great Christmas
Thanks Wayne - always better watched on the big TV for sure :)

Nice video bro. I Usually only do night walks these days the rewards come light are far better 😎.
have to agree with you:) catching the start of the day and it lighting up the mountains is the best part of the day (providing the weather is favourable :) ) One of the reasons I think wild camping up high too - can catch the end of the day as well as the start :)
Thanks for Watching

Marched right past that pathetic little pile on Ben Ghlas en route to ben Lawers summit, the bypass path was a fantastic walk back aswell.
Its must be pushing it to call Ghlas a Munro - as you say Alistair, just a bump on the way to Ben Lawers ;)

Another outstanding offering. A simple but beautiful adventure, and yes, I noted that curious geological feature when I ski-toured back towards Lawers village one time.
Thanks Graham - its well worth the short detour to check out the wee cleft and feature on the side of the mountain :)

Thanks Mark, yeah would be nice if we get clear skies for that event for sure (not too sure what clear skies are like now as it seems to be months since we have had any!1lol)

@@ScotlandsMountains I'll look forward to that vlog as always! Nice to get Lawers to yourself as well, not a common experience!
Boy you max-ed out on the weather there Murray! Superb views and photos - I could smell that fresh morning air which reminded me of my own, similar adventures. Thanks for sharing buddy and stay safe.
Thanks Ian - absolutely - I was made to pay for enjoying this glorious weather on Tuesday though when I went up again - lets just say ice axe, crampons and an ability to endure pain - were required ;) (vlog next month - #spoileralert)

Hi Murray, had a chuckle when after saying you used to have to get up 2:30am, now you get up at 3:30am in the van. To my way of mind that’s the same time😀, bloody early. Hope you got you’re well earned brownie points. Very nice, quality video, thank you 🙏
I actually did the same when I watched it back!lol however the alarm was set for later but I was glad I got up when I did, made the hike to the top less of a rush :)

Inversions over Loch Tay must be quite common as my son and I witnessed 3 of them this year out of the 4 visits to the area.
Certainly get a better chance of this on the higher mountains (I think I may mention this on the next inversion video in a few weeks - it was a better inversion too ;) #spoiler alert!!
