Buffy and Cordy never really got on. When Buffy moved to Sunnydale Cordy was a bitch to Buffy and Willow. Even after Cordy discovered that Buffy was a Slayer and that vampires exist she was still rude to Buffy often. Cordy also initially tried to steal Angel from Buffy. Later when Cordy started dating Xander and officially joined the Scooby gang Buffy and the other initially tolerated Cordy just for Xanders sake. I think there was a time just before Xander and Cordy broke up where Buffy and Cordy reached and understanding and genuinely started to get along, Buffy even tried to reach out to Cordy as a friend after Xander cheated on her. However by that point, Cordy was angry and bitter and blamed Buffy for everything that happened to her (in terms of her loss in popularity at the school) and she stayed frosty with the gang for pretty much the remainder of her time on Buffy. So Buffy’s ‘rudeness’ to Cordy stems from that, not to mention she is upset with Angel.

I love how Cordy says hi to Buffy it's amazing how much Cordy has changed since High school. Yes she still makes remarks but not as hurtful as she was in high school.
I wish they made a movie about buffy and angel and faith and buffy all fighthing together as friends and warriors new actors great actors but sarah and david and eliza and james will always be the real thing for me but I would still watch it because those are my favorite hero's I don't care for anyone else
You know Buffy. Angel will always protect you and make sure that you're always safe. Because that's who he is. Angel loves you Buffy that's why he follows you around like a lovesick puppy because he doesn't want you getting hurt. He left Sunnydale because he thought he was doing what was best for you. That to me is true love. And after he left Sunnydale you moved onto fellow vampire Spike.
I mean she was with Riley for some time, a human as Angel wanted her to end up with. Even though it was quite clear he was a rebound. And by the time Spike entered the picture, Buffy had been picked up by UPN while Angel stayed on the WB, making anymore crossovers really difficult; thus, ending any chance of them reuniting. With Riley out of the picture and Angel stuck on his show, Spike only made sense. Bur it was quite clear, Buffy didn’t live Spike even in the end. I know Joss wanted Buffy and Angel to end up together, had they not moved networks (ironically since the two networks merged a few years after the shows ended into the CW - which would’ve helped Buffy and Angel both get the endings they deserved.

Everyone always say Buffy and Angel had a poetic love though it was poetic I think Spike and Buffy's love was more poetic because Spike understood Buffy and understood who she was and what she needed more than she did at times. Angel always wanted to protect Buffy meanwhile Spike was more of the helping kind because he knew Buffy didn't want or need to be protected, like Spike said "You're a hell of a woman".
Buffy hadn’t technically made it out of high school yet when she was with Angel. She was younger (too young for Angel) and less mature then. By the time she got with Spike, she was more mature and used to taking on more responsibilities especially after her mom died.
