OMGOSH thank you so much for this video! I’ve been using the boba wraps and they were great when my now 10 month old was smaller and less active but now it’s just too much to wrap it all the time. The ring wrap is so much easier but it gave me so much anxiety since it’s just me creating her seat. But this has given me the confidence and tips and tricks I needed to make sure she’s seated right and secure. Thank you so much.
Thanks for this! This was so clear and easy to follow. I was able to go from never having used a ring sling before to confidently carrying my 6 mo old. The elbow trick and the part about the key and the lock (ie lifting the baby to loosen or tighten) made all the difference in my understanding. Thanks so much!
This was great! I always thought slinging wasn’t for me until I watched this video and now I think we can give it a try! Thanks so much for the in depth look
This was helpful, I’ve tried over and over again with my 4 month old with no success so I’ll try again today. One problem is that he doesn’t have full neck control yet (he’s a premie) so he slouches and flops around. Maybe the sling is best for a baby who can sit unassisted or is a newborn that doesn’t mind laying down? Lastly, I love your pants in this video, can you share where you got them? I’m always searching for non-jean pants that also aren’t dressy and these are perfect.

Is this suitable for new born babies? I put my 1 week baby in it and I don't feel like it is secure, because he can't hold his head yet and this kind of wrap doesn't go over the head. Thank you.
Our linen is pre softened, but naturally a bit more stiff than cotton or other materials that some might be used to. Your linen will "break in" by using it, threading it through the rings or washing.
Never use a modal ring sling! Modal os not a strong fabric and it can get ripped when wet! Linen is the best fabric for baby wearing, cotton is the second best!
I have a suggestion: It is very very challenging to mirror the opposite. I too carry my baby on the right but following you is difficult as you are facing me--this video works best for left-side carriers. I follow a QiGong video and the instructor makes every movement that we as viewers do but "in mirror", so when she says, Your left arm she raises her right. Watching your video, I have to stand with my back toward you in order to follow.
I seriously feel like the biggest moron that I can't even figure this out. I am in tears. I had a Maya ring sling that somebody put together for me. I borrowed it from her on my last baby and gave it back. She's using it again on a grandchild. I now bought my own. I have no idea how to do this. I've watched and rewatched this.😢

The deep seat information was so helpful! Thank you so much.
One of the best tutorials I’ve seen so far thank you so much❤
Best tutorial! And cutest baby. Thank you!
I just finished making my sling. I hope it works for my sometimes clingy 20 month old. Thanks for the video.
Wonderful tutorial. Really good descriptions walking through the setup.

@@mywildbird where is newborn tut
Great video. I’ll have to try using my sling again.
What about with smaller babies? My two month olds legs keep getting deep red lines from it being too tight and if I loosen it, it’s too loose.
Hope and plum has a TH-cam shirt of them showing you how to put a 6 pound baby in their ring sling🙌

So, I'm a dad. A big guy. 60" chest measurement. Any advice for people like me?
Can I do this hold with a one month old?

Any tips on "breaking in" my new ring sling? It's tough to adjust the fabric through the rings.
I'm wondering if the baby is getting enough blood to their feet?
Yes they are. If they aren’t sitting on their feet there’s no interference.
Omg, that baby!🥰🥰🥰
This was a really good video, thank you!
What color is this sling? I love it.
Sparrow!
Perfect! Thank you very much! ❤
I just got my sling in the mail and it’s a bit stiff. I have difficulty threading and setting up the sling. Any tips to loosen up the fabric?
Have you washed it?
That’s normal. They need to be “broken in”

im scared that my baby will fall trough the wrap on the bottom since it isnt really secure , what if it loosens?
has a ring ever broken/snapped?
This is FANTASTIC
Can I use this without having to hold their bum, or do I need to have a hand on them just in case they fall?
You can be hands free!
Yes. It's a hands free baby carrier!
Great tutorial, thank you so much!
Is this standard or long length?
What type of sling is this one? I want to get the same one!
I think I have the same one, it’s the wild bird ring sling in the color sparrow!
@@whinnyleipooh thank you!
