Great video. Love watching people that can use basic hand tools to execute fine tooling and get it so precise. True craftsmanship. Glad to see Old Bean back moving again. That railway lantern was spectacular. Look forward to more on the drill press. Be safe and stay well.
@@briankinnear7461 thanks Brian. I grew up in the shadow of the great depression. My dad taught me how to make something out of nothing. It is very satisfying
That little lathe is nearly identical to my lathe. I have a quick change bit holder that needs to have the mount plate modified to fit. Great fix and I'm in process of getting ready for my 2 sons and one grandson next week. Should be some good footage on driving the Goofy Cart.
Great words of advice about starting more than one project... BTW, I just noticed a video from three years ago, when you started lubing up the Camel Back drill press.
Hi Matt, Your package arrived, check my short, will pick it up tomorrow at the post office...I check the first one the moment it popped up here and left the the first comment as far as I could see, lol. great video my friend
The files were corrupted on the first upload so this is the second try. Sorry folks!
I tried to watch it earlier...
@@GosselinFarmsEdGosselin It was a mess so I took it down and reloaded it. Worked fine the second time around.
Bro, I'm happy the Green Bean is up and running! And, in regards to the interior of your shop, I call it organized chaos. 🤓 It's a beautiful thing! ♥️
@@deborahhale5429 Just in time for granddaughters!
Matt the Scrap Whisperer over comes another challenge and produces a perfect part!!!! Great video Matt!!
@@EdgeofEternityBillCameron Thanks Bill. I had to overcome corrupt video files too!

That's about the time I brought it home. The very first video on the playlist is the road trip to pick it up.
@mattthescrapwhisperer I am horrible about starting projects all of the time, so I found it humorous that I'm not the only one that does it.
@@davidsoldiron it goes against all my training from my working life, but I’m human 😂
Heck yeah. Glad you took my advice and not assemble it upside down. 😅 great looking lathe and you don’t need that R/R lantern. Send it to me 😃😃
@@MillCreekFabShop Nice try. The lantern will probably end up in Nancy’s studio
