Thank you for this! Finally a clear instruction on how to align and shim a df64. Im going to do this on mine.
With the new burrs installed do you still need to season it right? I have the df64 gen 2 and mine came with DLC burrs. Is it worth the upgrade to ssp HU burrs if im exclusively brewing espresso only? Thanks!!!

personally don't think HU is that big of an upgrade, or an upgrade at all. Would naturally season the burrs.

Thanks. Why do some sellers offer to do the alignment at the time of purchase and other sellers do not offer alignment service as part of the purchase?

@Espresso Outlet LLC Totally unrelated but is the DF64/DF83 V2 series suitable for slow feed like Lance mentioned?

you can, but it adds a new and less controllable variable into the mix.

Great video as I’m preparing to but this grinder and want to know how to align and maintain. Is Turin Grinders and Espresso Outlet the same company for customer service purposes and warranty, etc.?

Where did you get the metal legs for your espresso machine? I've been looking to elevate mine to put the scale underneath.

Came with the machine, not sure how/if you could get some for the machine you are looking for. Usually pretty simple pieces, possibly someone could custom make.
