The police did nothing when Annarella's mother went to them for help but took action when the man who had abandoned his wife, girls and invalid son with no means of subsistance, did. So typical of the times. I feel great pity for Annarella and her mother. She had a harsh, difficult, heart-breaking life. Thank you Brief Case.
she was viewed as nothing less than the spawn of an escort... an as the ladies of the night matter naught, then this same indifference may be applied to their offspring as well 🤔 it is utter tragedy 😔
This occurred to me too. How many times have women been ignored. I should think they also thought they shouldn't listen to her because of her profession. That she was driven to because her husband left her. The irony.
From what I was told about life in Italy after the war by British servicemen who were there, the poverty and hunger were extreme and prostitution was extremely common. Women would sell themselves for powdered milk to give to their hungry babies, and the shame of it should have attached to the soldiers who took advantage rather than to the mothers.
My mother fled to Germany for work. She left me when I was two with nuns that had escaped Yugoslavia...I was one of the lucky ones. For the rest of her life all she talked about was food...making sure nobody was hungry....even animals. Poor Annarella......there were so many like her.
100,000 people at her funeral. Gosh. I found this so moving. 😢 How awful that her mother couldn't attend. Rest in peace little Annarella. Thank you for remembering her, Briefcase. ❤
The fact that Lionello was caught twice afterwards acting inappropriately with young girls, leads me to believe that he was guilty of Annarella’s murder.
Prosecution generally requires evidence, without which society would devolve into an intolerable mess of 'Salem witch trials' taking precedence. Although I agree with you that requiring such evidence in some cases increases the probability of the 'obviously guilty' to go free - using law of evidence and placing the burden of proof on the plaintiff and the defendant deemed innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law has the desirable effect of reducing the probability of convicting innocent people however it does not eliminate the possibility.
Such a strange response and result. People pouring out to her funeral, city dignitaries included. Had that much concern been shown to her and her family prior to her murder it wouldn’t have happened. Families were broken and hungry and received no help, but when there’s a photo op or chance for acknowledgment, suddenly people of means and influence come out of the woodwork. Still helping no one.
Roman here. In quarters like Primavalle life was hard, like in any suburbs, after the war. People were overall all on the same boat, so actual "help" could only go so far. Community spirit though was and still is strong in these places.

This is a prime example of why the "tradwife" lifestyle is detrimental for women and why we need to earn our own money and never depend on a man- because when he walks, we are condemned. Thank you, BC. RIP Annarella Bracci. The girl seemed to have intelligence and determination to make a better life for herself when she was killed by a predator. Parents did this all the time, it was once common. Misadventures rarely occurred, unheard of. Hence the overwhelming reaction of the media, the huge funeral attendance etc.
Good morning, First of all this story was very heartbreaking. It makes me angry that the police didn’t take the mother seriously but when the father came in, they decided to do something. I am a bit confused because at first the autopsy says that she was stabbed four times, but the man accused said he hit her with a stick and threw her down the well. either way, this young beautiful child didn’t deserve to die the way that she did. I think it’s also sad that the police did not allow her mother to go to the funeral. I’m angry at the father because he sued the mother and the reason why I’m angry is while they were separated. Did he support the family? Did he give them money? It didn’t seem like he did, but he sure was ready to sue the mother for infidelity. At any rate, this poor beautiful child was killed. her life cut short and that’s the most saddest of this whole story. thank you for another great story. Hope you have a wonderful day and a great week. Bless

10:29 Doesn't anyone think it strange that her grandfather found her body as a result of 'a dream'? She was 'calling out to him' in the dream and just happened to lead him to a well somewhere way out in the countryside? And as the narrative said, he was 'very close' to his granddaughter. Yeah, right.
It's more likely that the young man did it, seeing he had a 'habit' of harrassing young girls, even after being arrested multiple times. About the grandfather, it's crazy but some people do get visions. It's not explainable scientifically so far.
I find it strange too. She testifies in a trial against the mother, few days after mother sends her out reassuring her there's nothing to be scared of, few days later she's found in a well thanks to a magical dream of maternal grandfather. Suspicious she went immediately to the police, wouldn't ne the first murderer to do that. And the perfect scapegoat was there, man already with a habit of molesting children (bit he never panicked and killed anyone, just her, for some reason).
Is known for inappropriate behaviour towards young girls. Was seen showing interest in the murdered girl. "He's innocent!!" Is released. Proceeds to harass girls again. Is taken to prison. "He didn't do it!!" Is released again. Proceeds to harass girls again. My, they were not that smart back then, were they? Or was he just so very charming to have them believe him(/his wife)?
My heart breaks every time I see a case that will involve a child, but I still see the video in hopes that the perpetrator will be caught, found guilty and sentenced to death. About the grandfather, it's crazy but some people do get visions. It's not explainable scientifically so far.
No
I find it strange too.
Being close doesn't mean murderer
❤ thanks for the historical stories ❤
Thanks for Watching
Quality channel!!!!!!!!!!!
Thankyou :)
Good morning from the West Coast, Casers! Good morning, BC
Morning
Is known for inappropriate behaviour towards young girls. Was seen showing interest in the murdered girl.
"He's innocent!!"
Is released. Proceeds to harass girls again. Is taken to prison.
"He didn't do it!!"
Is released again. Proceeds to harass girls again.
My, they were not that smart back then, were they? Or was he just so very charming to have them believe him(/his wife)?
Such an interesting and sad story! Thank you for sharing this. Have a great week! ❤
Thanks for watching
@@BriefCaseOfficial you were the first TH-cam creator I subscribed and I never miss an episode!
My heart breaks every time I see a case that will involve a child, but I still see the video in hopes that the perpetrator will be caught, found guilty and sentenced to death. It would not be the case here, how sad 😢 So much evil prevails in this world as old as time. God bless Annarella Bracci soul rest in peace sweet child ✝. Thank you BC you have a very nice week as well as your faithful listeners. Sad life sad death.

@@BriefCaseOfficial You’re most welcome BC, your videos are getting me through a rough time right now, and I’m glad you are here on TH-cam 😊
Anymore I enjoy Mondays because I get to hear a new upload by Brief Case
so tragic. She was a decent and honorable young child. At least the community rallied around her disappearance. Wouldthat happen in Rome today?
Yes, every quarter is a little community.
And that community would still support you, if something like that happened.
Thanks BC.. great but sad stories. 🌹👍
Another great case BC. Poverty combined with evil strikes once more.
Hi your video just came across my feed on yt so I watched and listened at the end you asked for advice now I don't know you and have no idea of your situation other than what you have shared but I feel compelled as an older lady who has had many life experiences to comment on what you have shared
For one you deserve everything everyone else does, don't accept less ever
When you accept less it gives others an excuse to treat you as less than
Also when you share your feelings it could leave you vulnerable,be cautious
Lastly when people treat you bad like hitting you don't just brush that off. It's wrong to hurt someone
He is putting distance between you don't let him gaslight you just walk away.
I hope the best for you, take care
Wow! I'm from Rome, familiar with the neighbourhoods you mentioned, and regularly watch true crime.
Yet, I had no idea about Annarella.. you're definitely right about her story being forgotten.
Thank you for covering her case!
Your pronunciation of names and places was great 👏👏👏
Thankyou
Noir Alley was good tonight. Time for Brief Case. Ahhhh❤❤
Always interesting
Thank you ❤
So nice of you
Happy Monday from Pensacola FL
❤thank you ❤
I live a few bus stops away from Primavalle. It is still a poor area with a high crime rate
Thanks for another great story, very sad though…😢
Thanks for listening
That was great, thank you! It took me a while to watch though... I've got a new habit of looking at every place mentioned on Google Maps and taking a look around on street view 😅 And correct me if I'm wrong, but is that a remastered 'Doof!' I hear? Love it! 😂
(Not the Australian bush rave 'doof', the one that tells us to turn over the next page... in our minds.)
Good afternoon BC ❤
