A game of league is *most of the time* a 20+ minute commitment. It sucks the life out of you, and every fucking season it gets worse. The game puts you in straight up fucked up situations, like silvers against diamonds. It feels like designed frustration. Frustration made specially to fuck with you. "but its just a normal game!" So you can't even escape the bullshit by playing normals? Cool
There is normal game mmr and ranked mmr, you can be rank 1 with bronze 5 normal mmr, a bronze can have diamond normal mmr, the master plays probably troll in normals which is why they have such low normals mmr, it IS a broken system, however it in theory a good system, as some people troll in normal queues, IMO trolling in normals shouldn't affect your normals mmr

Normals have their separate elo. If those masters guys played only ranked and then came to normals, their "normal elo" could be even lower than some bronze or unranked guys that only play normals. That's how you get matches like these.
