Been looking how to install and use the yakattack leverloc anchor trolley before committing to buy one. Your video is by far the best, most straight forward, how-to guidance, on the internet. Just enough information to do the job, and no unnecessary BS that would make it harder than it has to be. I was confused about how far below the gunwale to install it and how the lever works (and whether or not the anchor rope ring had to be involved). Your video cleared things up for me. Made it simple. Nice job. Thanks!
Great video and it helped a lot but I feel like the ring should be the other way. I think the little slots should be in the back and the big holes for the not in the front
CFCR Fishing just installed mine after re-watching your video smooth install took maybe fifteen minutes from start to finish really looking forward to getting out on the water to try it out, once again thanks for the video
I know this is an older video but I’m just now stumbling upon it for my installation, I’m confused how the line was put on. I have SO MUCH extra slack after they are ran through. Specially confused at the point you tied the line “once it was close to the end” with just a regular knot.
@@CFCRFishing Barra are in the north of Australia and we do it every year 4 to 6 weeks at a time. They can be very hard to catch contrary to fishing vids. Very picky but when they all bite , it's awesome. Not as easy as it looks to target them
mrdilligaf1968 that sounds like an amazing trip! I love fish that are difficult to catch. Right now I’m chasing a “sharpfin chubsucker”. I’m literally sight casting to them, but they’re really picky. I’ve had 2 takes on the fly in about 10 trips. lol Are you on Facebook?
I know it takes effort and time to publish stuff on youtube for the benefit of all and for that I thank you. Just two bits of constructive feedback: 1. This is not the HD version and you did the install as it is designed. However, I find it hard to believe that they would consider a self tapped SS #10 screw enough for an anchor point on a kayak. The HD version has back plates with pre-installed nylock nuts. I highly recommend using either ny-lock nuts or well-nuts. 2. Recommend putting pulleys as far fwd and aft as possible (better anchor positioning capability). Use the provided fairleads to keep the line in order and from not popping up over the "chine line" errm I mean the gunwale (gunnel). BTW, nice yak...tight lines!
I was also concerned that the screws wouldn't hold, but how do you use nuts on a sit on top kayak? I have the Big Fish 105 and there's no access to the back side to put the nuts on.
@@markm5430 I'm using well nuts instead of the provided hardware for the pulleys, and rivets for the pad eyes. Screws would probably be OK for the pad eyes, but I definitely wanted more security for the pulleys.
Actually in this video, I was using voice recorder on my iPhone through the apple earbuds! haha Ive now upgraded and I use a Boya by-m1 shotgun mic. I use iMovie to edit the videos.
+Bill Billerson none at all. Supposedly you can install the screws without silicone, but I really wanted that extra level of security. So far, almost 2 years later, no leakage at all.
Good to hear, I used your video to install this on my moken 10 lite. The last thing I want is a leak. I used a dab of silicon sealant and wondered if I needed to go back and add some more. Thanks.
It helps keep the trolley line on the side of the kayak. If they are installed close to the bow and stern, the trolley tends to pull up on top of the kayak. ;)
Ok. Do you think that if I installed the pulleys closer to the bow and stern and aligned all of the hardware in more a of straight line it would work just as good as yours? Thanks
Very helpful and easy to follow - thanks!

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! Thanks for the kind words.
Well done. Good video. Thanks.
Well done! Thank you!
Best install of this product I found! Thanks!
Great information video thanks
Thanks!
So you didn't use the backing plates for the pulleys? Seemed like kind of difficult to install if you don't have access. Thanks!
Great to see how simple it is. Definitely investing in the YakAttack. Makes more sense..
the easy tutorial in you tube .. thank you
AlexMarquez thanks so much!
@@CFCRFishing I just installed my anchor trolley ... easy we-see...thanks
AlexMarquez awesome!! Good luck!
Great instructions. Thanks
Thank you. I was wondering how the lock worked and the tip on the vibe stick....much appreciated! Have to do this one my son’s Bonafide ss107.
+Bern Pisarcik Jr thanks for watching! Glad you learned something!
Thank you
Just use eye holes I done like my line moving that easy. If it’s that easy cord keeps moving.....
But I nvm used that cord lock before.
Done good on the video and simple instructions on what to do no far away shots on what you did
Thanks!!

I love the anchor line lock , never seen one. Are these kits available in Australia ?
I wish I knew the answer, sorry. 😕
@@CFCRFishing yeah. Alot of stuff in the U.S isn't available in Australia unfortunately. Alot of businesses won't deal with Aussies either
It’s a shame, you guys have an awesome fishery!
Barramundi and Mulloway are on my bucket list.

Thanks for this! Worked like a charm on my 13.5' Ocean Kayak👊🏽
I burn the ends of the 550 cord to keep it from fraying as well.

Roy Niswanger I agree the HD version is much stronger with the backing plates.
Thanks for the feedback!!

Perfect timing! I'm about to do this exact install on my 2017 SG130.
Awesome! Its really easy! Great kayak choice too!
Very cool trolley. Got to get me one.🐟
