I like the fact that you treat Seiko and Casio with respect ,that truly shows that you love watches and not just because there's a brand attached to it or just because it's expensive. You are my fav ! You should probably add an fp journe or a breguet or an h Moser to your collection too 🙂
I’m lucky enough to own a few Rolexes and an AP but i love seiko and casio, its what i grew up wearing

People that buy/wear Seiko are either broke or have extremely bad taste. Also, they definitely lost control over their life.
It's a brave man who wears a Patek on public transport in London these days!
Fun fact is that most people wouldn't recognize a Patek. So yeah is kinda risky but most people won't even know what a Patek is.

Mmm....I dunno. I hear these gangs are getting more sophisticated. There are cases where they seem to have had spotters in bars, etc, who tip off the thugs on mopeds who to target once they are outside in the street.

I think there was a case where a guy came from a Jazz club with a Daytona, and thugs on mopeds singled him out from the dozens of other people - even though he had a coat on to cover the watch. So yeah, they may even have spotters - watch exerts who have gone over to the dark side!
The g shock is a great watch. Would like to see a full review of it!

@@DMWBN3 g shocks are really made to last... We preserve our pateks and Rolex, if we preserve g shocks it will probably last for centuries..:-)

I have a G-Shock myself but I'm wanting another one later because I want a higher priced one.
I really like the vlog style, it's taking us along for the whole experience! Enjoy the new watch(es) buddy.
From a logical, practical and functional perspective, that is the best watch you own!
@lasest2 A smart watch is a snowflake compared to a g-shock and a smart watch will age VERY badly, out dated and obsolete very fast... A g-shock none of that is the case.
@lasest2 what's with all these mouth breathers saying smart watches are better like how stupid you gotta be a g shock is going to last longer be tougher and function as a watch better, a smart watches shitty lithium battery will go bad in a year the screen will crack from the smallest impact will get slow and out dated after 3 updates
@lasest2 I'd disagree on that. I'd never buy an Apple watch simply because it won't survive my abuse/clumsiness.

I love the fact that even though it's a G-Shock (and a digital one related to the GW-5000), he treats it with the same esteem as a Patek. Hopefully for areas where a PP won't work, or would get destroyed, the G-Shock finds its place as a regular on your wrist.
Not all of G-shock are made in Japan, only premium models.

Actually most modules themselves are made in Japan. The watch straps and other additions are produced elsewhere.

This was such an enjoyeable video. As someone who lives in the US and has only been as far as the caribean. It was so fun to see what London looked like. So beautiful and fantastic cars. Congratulations on winning the bear. That Patek is my favorite. I love Omega's and will make the Moonwatch my real first luxury purchase but the Patek is on a level all it's own. Once again thank you for sharing such remarkeable videos.

@luuk 024 I think she happens to praise the video for its original character and portrayal of high life in London. I don't believe that she's never actually seen a pic or movie situated there, it's just that movies lack the originality aspect which is evident in LWC's videos.

If it’s a G-Shock, I guess he could feel relaxed about actually wearing it on the street or in the underground....
The wrist shot in the underground station was a Patek. I never wear my Rolex or Omega in London these days, far too risky.
Yeah, same here - I wouldn’t risk it in London. I admire this guy’s financial firepower - seemingly he is so über-loaded that he can lose or scratch the odd Patek and it’s not such of a big deal... Nice world for some!
Great seeing you feature a g shock from someone who has 4 and am planning to get a gold square I know it's not to everyone's taste but it's really great that you actually took the time to purchase a g shock .

I just got a mudmaster with my Christmas bonus. I like it very much. It's very comfortable, looks great and is very practical with use.
Check if it's legit. The market is getting killed with knock offs.

This watch bears some resemblance to a royal oak. Logical choice for your style. Beautiful.

I remember when I was in London last year with my family.
Thanks for the video. It’s always nice having watch guys give some love to G Shock. I sold my Vacheron Overseas 4500V and picked up a limited edition MR-G Kasumi Tachime with plenty of dollars left over. The MR-G is great and a real limited edition. Each of the 500 watches has a hand hammered bezel and links made by a few metal workers. There are only so many they can make. Unlike Patek that could produce more Nautilus but artificially keeps numbers low to spike pricing.

Not a fan of retro digital watches but that Casio you bought is very high class looking! Not my style but it suits you so well! Have a lot of respect for Casion making very good quality affordable watches and their G-Shocks are always so cool!

i bought the exact same one as yours back in december 2019. Wearing it to work everyday instead of my PAM1389. Its really a cool and solid watch and i am not a casio fan but the watch just attracts me

This G-Shock is beautiful! Truly bring the design into the 21st century. Love how this design transition well from a tactical look to a more refined look. Personally I like the black steel color, gives the watch a bit more attitude.

I was right about the steel gshock. Not so right on the second part of my guess though. I can understand you need one in the collection because it has become iconic, but I'm not quite a fan of all the flashyness and text on the face of the watch. Not that I wouldn't get myself one as a toolwatch however.
With the omega speedmaster, I think I guessed correctly on instagram. I ruled other possibilities out because of the unique bracelet style. Congratulations on the 3 new additions, and I hope your mrs liked the teddy bear.

I did the same. I thought on getting the black version aswell but i didnt. Really a nice buy. Im also a roled, patek and AP collector. Ive another brands aswell like lange, iwc, vc, tudor, omega and seiko. Im thinking on buying a RM i like the rm11 and rm35 looks. Whats ur opinion about rm? Besides being kinda overpriced if we compare to other watch quality.

I think you may be getting the steel one or rubber strap one. I got black, steel and rubber strap, I love these 3 models so much!!! I actually love them being dressy digital.
Edit: Yay! you got the steel one, that is my favorite, I like the positive display more than the negative, it has a very interesting contrast between the dressy classic bracelet and the tool-like practical straightforward watch face! very nice choice and we finally got something in common ;_;

Don't be concerned about fit or size; it's a very slim watch and much slimmer than I thought. I really love mine - I have the b5000gd all black model.

Cant beat them got a gw5600 never take it off I have a manual job it gets battered the only thing that went was the rubber strap but replaced that for £12
I colect g shock and seiko..... No metter how i will be rich i would always g shock, seiko or omega. Omega for kids ( passin down) g shock for me.does it makes me less enthusiast if i wear g shock but love mechanical watches?
In my opinion the gshock does sit well with others collection due to design, finish of the case and the heritage even though it just a gshock or digital watch.
