😀That "Magnolia Stencil" is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!! And how BRILLIANT to use Wax to make the Transfer Blend better because you were a little short!!!! Just BRILLIANT!!!!
WOW!!!! THIS transformation is absolutely 1000% amazing!!! My favorite piece, for sure!!! Newbie here 🙋♀️ with a basement full of beautiful pieces waiting for my courage to flip them!! THIS video was so inspiring!!! Thank you for always providing so much information, tips and hacks.
Oh my goodness this is beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing! I hope someday I can be half as good as you are in the meantime I will continue to watch your channel over again and learn your tips and tricks…. Best to you!
Beautiful job on the desk! I love that Dixie Bell yellow. It's soft but sunny at the same time. And you did a lovely job on the transfers and knobs. Thanks for sharing your inspirations with us. :-)
So Pretty! I was wondering if those transfers would be good for drawers and here you did this video! Do you sell your pieces? If so, where do you sell them? Just to let you know my Voodoo au natural stain arrived very quickly from Florida to Canada and I used it on drawer fronts for a tall dresser. It sold in one day! I used the Drop Cloth on a small table and that sold quickly too. It was SOOO thick compared to the FAT paint I am used to. I was very happy with your tips to mist the paint and dampen the brush. That will help a lot. I love your spindle painting tip too. I now look forward to the challenge of painting round legs instead of dreading it! Can't wait to see what you do next.
These transfers are GREAT for drawers. I've used them on the outside, the inside and on the sides of drawers! So happy you love the Au Natural...so do I! And I'm finding my natural stained pieces sell super fast as well. I sell on Kijiji, FBM and often get contacted when I post to my blog. I think you'll find the DB paint goes a looong way. I like thinning it with a little water when needed and it still has great coverage.
Beautiful. Sorry if this was asked , but did you have to use clear wax before the dark wax? I am a beginner and always wary of dark wax-especially after you did so much work . Thanks!
Yes, if you're worried, apply a coat of clear wax first and then apply the dark. If it's too dark or you don't like the look, a little clear wax on a lint free towel will act as an 'eraser' and wipe the dark wax right off... so long as you wipe it off right away and don't let it dry. :)
there is not a substitute for years of experience when we are talking about painting anything...funny thing is even when a lot of experience in our brain we still learning new tricks and methods ...
love your piece! I have been wanting to start a project. My first piece is not real wood more like particle board. thank you for the tips. What dixie bell product would you recommend for this project. (a small sanding cabinet with coated finish not wood?
Is adorable…❤. Question.. You said Dawn dishwashing soap will clean furniture well..? Because i got really discourage with KrueKutter, it is a great product ..but i had a allergic reaction to it.
The desk turned out beautiful. I have a desk also and would love to do this to it. I'm up for a challenge. I think it will be worth trying. South Carolina Meredyth 💞
Please. Answer this question for me. I don’t understand why makeover artists always paint furniture while the drawers are left in. Am I missing something?
Really enjoyed watching you create this lovely piece, but I do have a sincere request that I'm sure that many others would also appreciate. If you would be kind enough to list the paints, the colors, transfers, stencils, whatever you choose to use on your pieces, and even some of the equipment you use, should we want to recreate some things, we wouldn't have to go back and scan through your videos to find this information. I imagine it's a pain for you to bother to post all of this, but since you are enjoying a large following you should know that this information listed for us would be so very helpful. Thank you in advance for considering my request. And P.S. What is the name of your mini-sander and where did you find it? Thanks again.
Hi Sydni, thanks so much! For all my youtube videos, you will find the list of materials and a source list (links to the individual products) in the description box below the video. Just click the "read more" button and they will pop up for you! :)
Also, the 'mini sander' is an oscillating tool. It comes with different blades you can interchange, for cutting, grinding, sanding etc. It's a great tool to have when you need to get into tight places. You can find similar tools at home depot, lowes or online here amzn.to/3u7Hkn4 (affil link)

Love this information - thank you for being so concise with directions. After applying the transfer. Does it need to be sealed?
Yes. Seal with any water based wax or topcoat 😊
I chalk painted my bathroom vanity and plan to do a transfer. What is best to use over the transfer in a room with humidity?
Beautiful. Sorry if this was asked , but did you have to use clear wax before the dark wax? I am a beginner and always wary of dark wax-especially after you did so much work . Thanks!

I totally agree. After 10+ years of painting furniture, I'm still learning. :)
I love it!! Love the brown waxing to bring it all together. When you added the chocolate wash did you add water to the chocolate to “make the wash” ?
Thanks Christine and yes I did. But I sprayed the water on instead of mixing it into the paint.
love your piece! I have been wanting to start a project. My first piece is not real wood more like particle board. thank you for the tips. What dixie bell product would you recommend for this project. (a small sanding cabinet with coated finish not wood?
Slick Stick! No sanding required 😊
Question. Are you using Slick Stick first then Primer. Thank you for this video.
No. Slick Stick is in place of a primer. :)
Is adorable…❤. Question.. You said Dawn dishwashing soap will clean furniture well..? Because i got really discourage with KrueKutter, it is a great product ..but i had a allergic reaction to it.
Yes Dawn works nicely! It does need rinsing with clear water though. And because it's soapy, a few wipes with a sponge with clear water is required.
Hi do you know if you can use this transfer on top stained wood grain or does it have to be on painted wood? Thank you
The desk turned out beautiful. I have a desk also and would love to do this to it. I'm up for a challenge. I think it will be worth trying. South Carolina Meredyth 💞

Thank you for informations and teach me how to do things!! :-)
Thanks Mariouche! :)
