Thankyou. Your the first for making these finishes and steps understandable for a newbie. So many different sealers out there and confusing. Now I can try for myself so glad to hear you say don't apply wax before placing transfer on.
I am new to your channel and was enamored by this piece! The background color and transfer are fabulous! Your use of the round ergonomic sponge for sealing is a great idea and I have put it on my must-have list. I wish I could have seen the finished piece of furniture in full, and a before image is always so fun to have as a before-after comparison. I look forward to exploring your other tutorial videos!
I am going to apply a transfer to the top of my kitchen table. I have not done this before and appreciate the simplicity of your how to videos. I am wondering if the sealant is waterproof since I am using for kitchen table, or if you can recommend a better product for my project. Thank you!
This is my first time chalk painting and using a transfer. I'm redoing a bathroom vanity. What is the best thing to use over the transfer to protect the piece in a humid area such as a bathroom? I've seen tutoria;s usings gels, waxes and poly urathane top coats. What do you suggest?
My base color is a incredibly pure white - the transfer has a lot of purples. I need a crystal clear sealer that will not yellow. Can you please help with suggestions?
Hi Brooke awesome tutorial!!👏🥰. What do you recommend for seal after putting the transfer of I I'm going to use my side table outside?. Thanks a lot 🙏🙏
What is the difference between wax and clearcoat. I just got into transfers. All my furniture is waxed with clear wax. Can I put the transfer over them?
I want to refinish a dresser for my granddaughter, but I want the dresser to be shiny paint, & I want to apply transfers. Is that possible & how should I go about it?
Yes, you can apply transfers over most paints, just make sure the paint is very dry first (48 hours is safest.) You can also get a shiny look by using a gloss sheened clear coat. Paint, let dry, apply transfer, apply gloss clear coat. Good luck!
Like Brooke below I want to know........Did you seal the paint on the rest of the dresser? When, if you did? I have been told chalk paint must be sealed.

Thanks Brooke!!!! You did a "BANG UP JOB", and I understood COMPLETELY!!!!
Does humidity in a bathroom cause the transfer to peel?
This is the preferred steps I would make. Thank you for this lovely DIY and your work is absolutely gorgeous!
I’ve learned a lot from you just in a short time thank you .

You're an excellent teacher.
Next time show the before and after side by side. I'd love to see the final dresser in full. Looks great.
Thank you! You provided info that I did get in other tutorials.
Thank you for sharing this information ❤
The only thing this is missing is a far away, lingering shot of the whole piece. It's gorgeous!!!
Thank you. You answered my question about how soon after putting on the transfer.
Thank thank thank you….. ❤you save m piece from having to be redone..
Another great video! Which sealer should I use for a piece that is being used often?
Do you not have to sand lightly after first coat of sealer before doing a second coat? Thanks.
I FOUND YOUR VIDEO VERY HELPFUL
Nice! I love the design of that dresser. Been looking for a while for a piece like that - hard to find!

I used Beyond Paint on a table, and applied a transfer. It looks beautiful, but I want to seal it. CAn I use this over the Beyond Paint product?
