Hi
Tha jazz of 97&98. The blazers 89&92. The pacers of 01
Knicks in the 90s or 94,95
Why do you not give credit to the jazz if the late 90s rockets of 18 were never winning a chip they have a subpar leaders
2011
Imo it’s the 2018 Rockets. Taking arguably the greatest NBA team ever to 7 games is impressive
Yeah but the fact that they didn't get to the finals subtracts a lot. I know they faced gsw on wcf but on paper makes them look bad
Agreed but both of you are right
@@lufox0148 yeah on paper. the WCF were the real nba finals that year
2005 suns
@@lufox0148 that’s cuz CP3 got injured. They would’ve won in 6 if he didn’t get injured
05 Suns lost because Joe Johnson literally got his eye socket broken, it wasn't because Nash didn't shoot the ball enough. Heck, Nash had a 30/12 average against the Mavs in that playoffs.
Imma agree with you with the 7SOL Suns, they were stacked, meshed well, and had several years to contend, but every time something unfortunate came up. 2005 and 07 especially
If Suns would have resigned Joe Johnson after that season they get a chip out of that group. Not a Suns fan but sucks for their fans that it didn’t happen for them.
I think the 06/07 Suns were better considering they were taken out by the Spurs in 6 (best team the Spurs faced in the playoffs) and got beaten from Amare & Diaw being suspended from Robert Horry’s hipcheck
@@N8veJay I feel 04/05 Suns were a smidgen better. Similar defensively, but Amare was a bit more unstoppable before the microfracture surgery, and they just had a bit more perimeter firepower to throw at ya, w/ Joe Johnson. Having to be w/o JJ for 1st 2 games vs. Spurs, going up against the league's best defense, was really a huge blow, and those games were super close to the end. I didn't like them trading Casey Jacobsen midseason, when they had the best record.
@@arsonhakobyan 05 suns were a cheat code
2012 Bobcats.
That team was loaded.
lmao i c u
No 🧢
Yeah, loaded with bums
Old Corey Maggette, Rookie Kemba Walker, Boris Diaw, Tyrus Thomas. They beat the 17 Warriors and the 96 Bulls at the same time. In fact, They should be written down in history as the most WINNING team of all time. No sarcasm

Underrated team in this conversation is the 77 Sixers. They were low key stacked
That '78 roster was better and won more games

@@crisclay2678 How dumb are you? Gadayum, thinking that you gotta be a boomer to know your history 😂😂😂
@@andreingramakadjscrewrip7372 true they just didn’t see as much post season success. I’m just talking about their rosters in general. Dr. J, Chocolate Thunder, Doug Collins, World B. Free, Mike Dunleavy, George McGinnis

5:10 damn Tim Hardaway Jr been in the league since those 90s heat, better longevity than LeBron
Glad I wasn't the only one that heard that 😂
Should of said tim hardaway not tim hardaway jr
Huge bruh moment
I caught that too..
As a Golden State Warriors fan, I immediately was like, "don't you mean Tim Hardaway Sr"..
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
People forget that Tim Hardaway made his name with the Golden State Warriors
No love for Utah 97 and 98 as usual 😂😂. That team was sweeping the Lakers with 4 all stars and dismantling the Spurs with Duncan and Robinson in 5 games. I respect your consistency leaving Utah out lol. Good video.
@Sucky Sucky Fucky Fucky yea Duncan took a jump from 1998 to 1999 and that was the difference while Malone and Stockton took a step back.
Kobe wasnt an all star back than
@@Coldskin1 98 Kobe was an allstar

He didn't want to praise malon i think
I’m definitely takin the 2002 kings. One missed call from an easy chip against the nets. If Kobe gets called for elbowing Bobby in the face they have an easy ring. The fact that they were just as good if not better than than the 2002 lakers is answer enough for me
Definitely 2002 Kings. They're just too good from top to bottom. Solid and versatile starting five and very deep bench. If your a 90's kid you know what I'm saying.
If only.. I wonder what happens what would’ve happened if they won the ship that year
But they were underdogs
2000 Blazers were also up there...
It was rigged against him

I'm of the opinion that Russel Westbrook and James Harden are wildly overrated but they also might be victims of mediocre coaching.
@@flyingpigmonkey1 overrated? All they do is get shit on 😂
Bruh James was averaging 17 off the bench, should’ve never came off the bench period .. James was cooking at Arizona state
James Harden went from 17 ppg to 26 in a matter of months 😂😂😂 it's safe to say he wasnt really a 6th man he was more of a player being chained down to a bad role. Russell Westbrook on the other hand was overrated. Brandon Ingrams #s this year was better than Westbrooks numbers when they made the Finals but ppl act like he was the best PG in the NBA/D Rose 2.0.
@Dayshon Jennings false hardens playoff performances are extremely overhated

I honestly see Lebron carrying the Cavs to that dub
As a rockets fan I am still depressed over that
Finally someone talks about the 2018 rockets that team is so unappreciated they were a Chris Paul hamstring away from a championship
Dom
@Sucky Sucky Fucky Fucky cause it wasn’t 2018 stupid
@Sucky Sucky Fucky Fucky their defense was a lot worse and CP3 and Harden were fighting a lot more
@Sucky Sucky Fucky Fucky Did you watch that? Capela was washep up, and CP3 coming off the injury was not playing well either... And even if they were, they still would not be the favorites in that series...
Even if they would’ve won that series I think with LeBron playing like a super human he’s probably winning that series or it’s going to a good 7 games because it’s a Hakeem Olajuwon type squad no all stars besides you and you’re the only top player on the team with shooters defenders and sorta play makers
Those Bucks teams in the early 80's were also definitely some of the best teams never to win.
Nobody knows about those teams

Its gotta be the Thunder. Also I wouldve added the 2011 Bulls. It might've been pretty much all Derrick Rose but they had a amazingly good year.
The 2002 kings were like a deeply complex machine that depends on all its pieces equally to function, but when all of the machinery was functioning it was doing its job perfectly and could not be stopped
Healthy 2018 Rockets are arguably the best team of all time.

Being a Rockets fan this hurts so much and still brings back that memory in game 5. Ive never been that close to a championship before and that was the closest i think ill ever get to now.
I thought of the 2016 OKC. I think they should’ve been mentioned and were quite underrated. I mean they knocked off the ‘16 Spurs in 6 games who won 67 games and remained undefeated on the road (aka the team that was mentioned in your vid)... Also they were 3-1 on top of that ‘16 GSW... Plus it was a BOUNCE BACK year for missing the playoffs the season before.

I think its the 2018 Rockets they won 65 games with CP3 missing 20 games on the season. They had a monster record where Harden, CP3 and Capella together they won 41 out of 43 games. They had like 6 guys scoring in double digits. Historic offense and top 6 defense in the league.

That 96 Sonics Team was legit.
Too bad they had to run into Jordan 72W Bulls.

Yep
TRUE THHAT I WILL ALWAYS CONSIDER THEM CHAMPS OF THAT YEAR OVER LA FAKERS
Literally even a ref or something similar from that series said that was a rigged wcf
One of the most underrated teams that never won it was the 2000 Portland Trail Blazers. Even Shaq said that was the greatest team him and Kobe faced. That team had so much talent and actually had a 15 point lead on the Lakers in the 4th of game 7, before completely choking it away.
Can you make a video of super talented that didn’t perform as expected (2013 Lakers, Rockets with barkley, pippen and Olajuwon, etc).

Don’t forget to add 2020 Clippers well technically he did a vid on that but add on there but also add 2017-2018 Thunder
Those rockets were a buzzer beater away from the finals but sure
Those late 90s rockets teams were not that good, sir charles was on the way down, the glyde was not as athletic as he used to be, the dream was the only player of the trio scoring 20+ points
What about the 1998 Pacers that almost beat Bulls in ECF (as much as you think Reggie Miller is not good)?

Nash in the playoffs averaged 24 and 12, if you exclude the 1st round where he was pretty bad he averaged 27.1/11.4/5.3. He shot 20 shots a game while creating opportunities for teammates.
In the second round he averaged 30/12 against Dallas, and against San Antonio he averaged 23.2/10.9. He was just terrible from 3 and shooting was a little harder because of how good San Antonio's defence was at that time. They lost because of injuries piling up the further they got.

'17-18 Rockets are probably the saddest story. If CP3 didn't get injured, they would've won the title and probably The Finals that year. The Cavs in '17-18 were bad except they had LeBron.
Also, with respect to the 2018 Rockets (who I think are a reasonable pick for #1), it's extremely likely that if Iguodala didn't get hurt, they lose in 5 games (they won game's 4 and 5 with Iggy out by a combined 7 points).
This video gives me ptsd flashbacks of 2006 and 2007
16’ Warriors without a question. They beat the regular season record
Personally, I think the 2016 Thunder are a better mention than the 2012 Thunder. Yeah, 2012 Thunder made the finals, and yeah they had Harden, but 2016 Durant and Westbrook were WAAAAAAAAAY better than 2012 versions of themselves, and they had a 3-1 lead over the 73 win Warriors.
For what it is worth. 1996-97 and 97-98 Jazz, 1980 Bucks, The Lakers of the 60s, 1996 Sonics and the 1992 Trailblazers. All damn good teams.
Good list I would put the 2005 or 2014 pacers on here though although that could just be because I’m a pacer fan
1998 Indiana Pacers. They took MJ and the 2nd 3-peat Bulls to a seven game series. They might have beaten the Utah Jazz in the Finals.
Another thing about the rockets, that game 7 was one of the worst reffed games of all time and one of the made threes in the 27 straight misses was called off so it wouldn't even have been 27 straight misses
Dam Rusty, Hardaway Jr was playing with his father 😂
Sonics were competing against one of the best or the best team ever. The starting five was Longley (average + center), Harper (capable to score 20), Jordan, Pippen (everyone knows how legendary good they were), Rodman (best rebounder of the Leauge). All of them were also defensive beasts. And they were supported by Tony Kukoc (Best 6th man of the year, would have easy fit in any other teams starting five) and Steve Kerr (3 point champion, record holder). Even though facing these incredibly bad odds they held their ground.
The 2018 Rockets were a pretty effective team, the best one trying to copy the Golden State "style". CP3-s injury really mattered, but it is also the same with the next year GSW or this years Heat. Unfortunetly injury is a real deal breaker.
So I would put the Sonics on the first place, Houston 2018 on the second, Penny and Shaq on the third. Penny and Shaq were simply too young at that time. Somewhat like the Heat juniors that year. They managed to deliver a good performance but Hakeem and Clyde Drexler were more experienced.
Appreciate the recognition towards the Rockets
90s jazz wasn't mentioned. That surprised me. 2 visits to finals. Not saying this as a jazz fan. Just thought I would have heard them
Chris Webber was a superstar, he made 1st team all nba but I think the 05 suns have the best starting lineup of any of these teams, an all star level player at every position except center.
2000 Blazers, 2003 MAVS, 09 Magic, 84 76ers
