Having been born and raised in our area of the Gulf Coast it was fun to watch you and your family just put a whoopin on some sharks and whiting, with a smidgen of bluefish. So much fun. It seems like a lifetime ago since the State Park Pier was torn in half. Spent years with family and friends catching practically everything the Gulf has to offer. Hopefully, if rumors are true, we will get the pier back to its original design.. The Octi is an awesome place when the Kings, Spanish and Reds are being caught in great numbers. Wow. The excitement and pandamonia is a sight to seen...Thank you Matthew for your good nature and willingness to share your fishing adventures and family with us. Truly, you have made a home of the Coast. Respectfully, An Ole Soldier.

This so reminds me of when I was teaching my 10-year-old daughter how to fish saltwater in The Netherlands. She still talks about it how we created beautiful memories even though it was cold and raining but we went home with 6 big flounders and 2 eels.
