- With an onslaught of new product coming much faster than expected, is it time for Hasbro to ease up on releases or time their actual arrival dates better?

What still gets me when trying to budget is when preorders start shipping and getting charged a month or two early from the expected preorder date. That just screws everything up on my end.

Part of the replay squad this week. Had Angel and all of the Ursa Major Wave show up on my doorstep this week, having a blast putting together an Iron Man shelf listening to this. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Preach! You aint saying anything that I havent yelled at my monitor about multiple times over the last year! Stick to the dang Pre-order ship dates Hasbro! Other companies can do it; you can too. I would even be ok getting fewer releases per year if it meant they were consistently released on a cadence that was reasonable. I'd be fine with every other month or even every quarter. Like someone said on the livestream...space the lines out too! Don't drop 5 Joes, 6 Legends and 4 Black Series all at the same time! I started keeping a spreadsheet of my pre-orders and this coming July, if they keep to the schedule, is going to be a Toy Apocalypse on my budget. So either they start spacing things out better or I start buying less things from them. I don't think they want us to do the latter, so hopefully someone from Hasbro is listening. PS: Caught that Fab reference...😉(Breathe...)
I'm not so much upset with the output -- I can always choose when to get the figures -- but the pre-order fluctuation has been so wild there's no realistic way to plan for them. And yeah all of the lines dropping at once can be a challenge too!

In short, McFarlane Multiverse is still up to their old tricks. 1 in 8 figures will be insanely good, but most will be a combo of hits and misses. Marvel Legends is on the rebound to have their best year since 2018! It's great to see, and I'm very pleased with this years rollouts so far! Classified is still delivering an "A" Game too. I'm just a bit overwhelmed with spending. Too many good things to buy, so I'm looking to have to cut down on my Classified figures because I'm not rich enough to get all the things I'd want to. I mean, when I buy stuff at the grocery store, I'm buying store brand generics to keep up my action figure collecting habits! lol I'm still buying generic toilet paper, Jeffrey! My butt would someday like to feel the plush feel some Charmin! lol ;)

I took a break after all the holiday sale pick ups. The past 2 weeks all I’ve been doing is playing catch up. Retro Spider-Man & Ironman wave , Void, SHIELD 3 pk, Wasp& Hank, Hydro Man & Matt, Nighthawk& Blur, Prowler& Hydra Cap a couple deluxe Joe pick ups add up real quick. Fan stream next week too!? SLOW DOWN!
I still haven't gotten a Marvel Legends from 2024! I blame GI Joe as there's plenty of Marvel figures I want!
On replay duty this week Jeff! Long week, but I managed to pick up and receive the McFarlane Wonder Woman (finally), signed Spawn 311 figure, and the Giant-Man/Wasp figure is due to arrive today.
Too many drops this month and too many preordes are coming in early from Hasbro. The Tiger Paw/Wreckage drop was not helpful. Who the hell likes a "suprise" drop???
Nice! Where'd you get Wonder Woman? Yeah, that random surprise drop for the Tiger Paw was a weird choice.

Im not a fan of marvel legends anymore but im slowing down my collecting a lot in general . These surprise preorder drops are killing my budget so i wind up canceling more preorders than i actually pay for . Toys should not be another bill i have to pay every month like rent so at this point im wrapping up my collecting and only buying stuff i really want . On my own timeframe not that of these companies . If i miss it i really dont care anymore i always have something else i can get . I think the online only way of buying toys is really going to slowly kill the hobby as ppl get fed up with the weird distribution we have now .
Going online only does seem to have some serious drawbacks if there's not enough supply of wanted figures.
@@LylesFigureFiles well it kills the thrill of the hunt ,which ppl tend to forget was half the fun of collecting . The hobby seems very artificial for me now .
My friend and I are the same. We’ve also decided not to pay say more than 50% higher than MSRP if we buy it on the aftermarket.

I think he should do an articulated Trigon next. Also, an articulated Validus and the Fatal Five, and the shrunken city of Kandor. Kandor would be a great display piece if done right.
Trying to remember. Didn't DC Direct do a Kandor set?
I say let them come; the sooner, the better. I'll deal with my money/fund allotment.
