Awesome vlog Tom! Blast from the past!! Good to see Cowboy is doing well! So many like Bangkok 112 and Dead Farang were great back then. Back when I first came to Thailand it was message boards where you gained information, then Video took over being the great source of information and entertainment and things really did improve. Thanks for sharing Tom, all the best mate! 👍

I was one of Cowboy Rays subs back in the day took me awhile to notice you had ceased but you put me onto a number of vloggers and it was interesting the way you could mix it all in it felt like you where there. Glad you finally made it out to paradise stay well. Bestie you found a blast from the past have followed your channel for several years always entertaining. PS there is no way i could live in a village.

Good to see Ray is finally living the dream. I miss his videos and always wondered what happened to him, so it’s great that this cowboy story has a happy ending (no, not that type 😂).
Incidentally, I have had a Bangkok112 sighting in the wild! I can confirm that it is a man 😂. It was in January 2020 and I was doing a 4 week trip, spending 1 week in Saigon, 1 week Phnom Penh, then 2 weeks in Pattaya. It was during my stay in Phnom Penh and I went to a place called Sharkey’s Bar (great bar, if you’re ever in Phnom Penh, it’s a must). The bar is upstairs and you have to go out to this large balcony to smoke. While I was outside, I saw this guy talking to someone and I thought “I recognise that voice”, and it took me a moment to realise it was Bangkok112! I debated whether to go over and ask him, but he was talking and I didn’t want to butt in and I wasn’t 100% sure, and then he went back inside. By the time I finished my cigarette and went back in, he was gone. Sharkey’s was my last port of call that night, so I only had time for one more beer before they closed, but when I got back to my hotel, I logged onto TH-cam and went to his channel, and when I heard his voice again on one of his videos I was pretty sure it was the same guy. So I said to myself, if he posts a video in the next couple of weeks, from Sharkey’s Bar, that will settle it, and sure enough, a little over a week later, while I was in Pattaya, he uploaded a video in Sharkey’s Bar and I even recognised a couple of people, who were wearing the same clothes, from the night I was there. Too much of a coincidence, it was definitely Bangkok112. I didn’t appear in the video as, like I said, it was my last bar of the night and he’d obviously done his filming by the time I got there. But I’m kicking myself that I didn’t ask him if he was who I thought, I would have bought him a beer and thanked him for all the videos, plus the recommendation of the hotel I stayed at while I was there.
He looks pretty unassuming and doesn’t stand out among the usual Brits in SE Asia. The one thing I will say is he looked a bit older than I imagined. It’s not that he’s really old, but his voice in his videos always made me think he was younger, maybe late 30s. But at a guess, I’d say he must be in his 50s (sorry Bangkok112, if you’re reading this and I’ve aged you up).
G'Day , I also recognized 112 by his voice a few times by chance looong ago at a couple of places , as i was leaving once i said nice videos didn't look back for his reaction tho , Sharky bar , cnr 136 bar , candy bar , sundance hotel all his go to places in Phnom Penh and many more everywhere ...

In what way is it very misleading? All the information in the interview is accurate. It's never been uploaded before and was recorded a few months ago.
"David Strachan Pattaya", "David Strachan Living in Pattaya", "Everything Pattaya" , "Pattaya Joe", "Steady Eddy's Travels" and "Rides 4 Kickz" are good channels
A great selection of YT Pattaya bloggers. But I personally find 'Everthing Pattaya's' voice a bit creepy, but his vlogs are informative and accurate. I used to have a beer in Mickey's Bar, New Plaza with 'Kev in Thailand ' He only drank beer twice a week and was very pleasant to talk to.
