Lovely job on the buggy, Andy! I think the paint is Tamiya PS-16, one of my favourite colours! It looked really smooth out there, and anyway, all buggies need to get a bit muddy and grassy! Same here, better to see them doing what they were designed to do rather than just for show. Nice one, matey! :))
Hi Mark cheers chap, yeah that’s sounds right Tamiya ps16 it is a nice colour you just tend to see it on Avantes and Subarus ;) I was surprised how smooth it was but that diff was buttery ;) and a bit if grass and mud never hurt anyone . Cheers Mark :)

Hi Barry , I’m almost happy to run in most conditions except mud bogs and when it’s bitterly cold ;) but yeah you’ve got to run them ;) if there not getting used I can really justify keeping them
I’d love to have a jrx2 .. been one of my dream buggies since I was a kid. Used to hang pics of them from RC car action in my hobby area as a youngster
It’s a very very cool buggy especially the 5 link original jrx2 , but any jrx is a cool thing. Hope you manage to get one at some point in the near future. Take care fella
Very cool! Nice of him to let you hold onto it for a few more days to get a run in! Don't worry about the grass and dirt, it just proves it is in running condition!! LOL! Fun seeing another old one running around!
Hey hey. Yeah Matthew was a bit of a life saver for this video. Ha ha yes indeed mud and grass all proved the buggy was working well ;) I love watching bathe old buggy’s running about , really need to get my Losi XX running , had it so long now almost a year , my bad ;) take care speak soon :)

Hi Richard yes the 5 link was meant to be great on bumpy tracks unfortunately redundant on todays modern tracks and surfaces. Brilliantly cool buggy’s though a 5 link would be awesome

Ha ha yeah I did have to give it a bit of a clean up again when I got home before sending it to it’s new home. I’m hoping it will be run in some vintage races at sone point with the new owner, either way he was happy I think. It wasn’t fast but it was nice to drive and smooth was pretty happy with it.

A question/s to you and everyone else:
Whats your favourite classic buggy release? and do you think Losi and or yokomo should get in on the re release action? From what i can ses the classic meets are gaining some serious attention many have more competitors than modern race meets?
Hello Douglas sorry for my late reply. Cheers for watching. A difficult question my favourite vintage buggy is the Associated rc10 b3 tied with the Mardave cobra. Losi and yokomo should definitely get in on the re re action as they did some amazing buggy’s and cars. There is certainly a big following for vintage race meets and a lot of clubs now offer a vintage heat to race in. :)
