Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates. I don't fully understand stuff either. I will say, when it comes to mod knowledge tho, I'm a walking encyclopedia for some of em. I would make sure tho considering how the EXE community is on average to keep a safe distance. As I talked about in your community post, you can also take a look at stuff such as horrorbrews (mario) and pokepastas (pokemon). Cool video!
Just watched the video and I’m really proud of you for coming back and correcting yourself and apologising for your mistakes that takes a lot of majority. I do apologise If my comment did come up as a bit aggressive or harsh that wasn’t my intent. Regarding the video itself you got a lot right but theirs still a lot I want to clear up.
1. Regarding the connections between 2011X, EXE and lord X, that’s kinda vague at the moment as it was originally OG X that created EXE but because of JC and EXE having connections with lord X it’s sorta became accepted that it’s now 2011X that created EXE.
2. Yes EXE was banished
3. THANK YOU for saying the guardians were created after EXE and have no knowledge of his existence. A lot of people assume the guardians were around when EXE was banished but this was debunked by both Raven and Joedoughboi (the only reason I think people say this is because of the wiki which theirs multiple ways of confirming the wiki is unreliable as hell and should be taken as a grain of salt. This is one of those moments.
4. However we have no idea when the guardians were created other then it was after the game sonic 2011. However since the guardian comics are being made and younger lord X appearing during the 7 guardians qna. I believe it’s sometime around before SonicPC and maybe the original sonic pc port (if that’s still cannon)
5. The guardians aren’t his “people” they are confirmed to be extensions of X in the 7 guardians QNA infact lord X isn’t even his proper name it’s just X but it’s kinda used to distinguish him between other variants of X and to refer to 2011X when he’s older. Infact both Joedoughboi himself and some of the fans use both X and lord X (with the old builds of pc port just calling him X) but also lord X is a nickname used in the 2017 rewrite given to X by his cult. So I assume for the soulless sonic series (yes that’s the name of Lord X’s series) Lord X is called that because of the cult of X. But we don’t know for certain
6. I’m pretty sure mods like sonic legacy and Trichael aren’t cannon at all and are just to be a unique experience (hell Lord X can’t be used in fnf mods unless you get permission because of a ban) it’s also implied lord X goes through a life cycle with his vessel so he deals with this multiple times. However it seems Lord X has either been humbled and matured because Lord X doesn’t view himself as god unless in a state of rage. In a drawing Joedoughboi made lord X was laughing when he was called god.
7. “Sonic” isn’t 2011X theirs a bit of confusion but I do not know why people think that nothing has been said by the creators and the wiki bounces back wether it wants “sonic” to be 2011X or its own character.
8. Just call him Xen as that’s his offical nickname.
But yeah I agree Sonic.exe is cursed it’s gone through owner to owner and as a result it’s just made the lore complex and confusing I really think there should just be one owner but at the end of the day that’s just my thoughts.
Ok the music for fnf mods fire animation is fire they one thing I hate is good mods getting canned and random drama 🙅🏿🤦🏿SO far I haven’t heard any drama like crazy I’m hoping it stays chill like this but knowing this community it won’t last the sonic exe mod is one of my favorites and I’m glad other people are starting to remake or revive it this year has been better but not fully good 🙏🏿

Maybe for a future video idea about EXE's you can talk about obscure one or ones that aren't evil.

Have you seen revolver animation? If not I think you would like Lord x vs MX and Lord x vs Error 404 by revolver (Warning Error 404 talks a lot about his world's lore but this is the only video that yaps a lot). Both are really good and I would like to see you react to or give me some feedback about his videos. Also his videos are not accurate to both characters Lore at all. They're his own stories.
