i hate the fact you made i sim rig witch im into i got a full rig myself but it purple my fav color. that shit looks so good man damn i wish i had that or could make that
so like, I would... but the oven isnt food safe and probably would cook hella cancer chemicals into the food so i wouldnt be able to eat it. I dont wanna waste food :(
I would have installed the oven for free, simply because you have a excellent ability to make me feel better when I have a bad day. With that said, the whole shop would have burned to ground if I even remotely touch anything electrical 😂
When your baking the powder. Prismatic powders has a label on the bag which tells you the required cooking temp. (Ex 375 for 15 min). So you keep the part in the oven until the part reaches temperature. Then you start that 15 min countdown. Also leave your oven fan on when the oven is on.
I know it's more than year later, but watching the build and all was completely worth it. Though I do not have the skill with metal, I plan to do something similar with either MDF or Plywood and put a hickory finish on it. Your reaction at the end when you tried it in VR sealed it for me. Even to the extent of Building a room behind the house specifically for it. Thanks for the content. So much more enjoyable to watch when we see you really having a blast with it.
Love seeing how excited you were with this man. Gotta love when you work so hard for something and see it really come to fruition then it exceeds your expectations. The build is bad ass man congrats🤙🏼
Literally have no power but watched the vid on phone in pitch black. Glad to see you doing things you both can enhance your skill and enjoy. While i miss your old school moto and mower vlogs, it's good to see you being a healthy happy person. Keep it up... it's just work!
Man, I've been watching your videos since you were solely a moto vlogger. I'm not going to lie to you I stayed subscribed but for a brief period while you were transitioning to a different style of video I didn't watch often, BUT you've come into your style so damn well. Entertaining as shit and we can tell you're loving what you're doing. Glad to be subscribed and thank you for your content man, has helped me through some tough times!
Lol this is crazy man I forgot I was subbed to you. I remember watching your vids when you had like 100k subs. Would watch it work and get me through the day. Glad to see your still going strong.
To anyone who doesn't use VR and is scared to make the plunge I'd definitely recommend it, you can pick up a second hand rift S or quest 2 for considerably cheaper than what most would think and if you only ever experience it once it will change your life 😂 I've gone from thinking drifting on the TV was cool to be able to practically reach out and touch other cars mid tandem (obviously I can't actually touch them but you get what I mean) and Dan's first experience says it all. Mine and anyone I've let try mine were the exact same and you don't really ever get over it with graphics going the way they are and sim gears advancements every day I go on I feel like a little kid getting to drive his dream cars 😂
No kidding! once you go vr, it's impossible to go back to flat screens. Also, Dirt rally 2.0 is on another level of immersion in vr with a handbrake. People just gotta manage their expectations because unless you have one of those stupid expensive headsets, the resolution doesn't compare to a 4k monitor.
Beautiful mate, made up for you. Nothing beats building your own cockpit. It looks so nice i have to say. I would imagine it will take a 20nm motor or above easy. Well done to you and thanks for doing all these build videos on your finished cockpit
Thanks Dan for all of the amazing videos. I found your channel about a month ago right after losing 1 family member and almost losing a 2nd one. I just wanted to say thank you and you are one of the funniest TH-camrs (especially when given a flamethrower. Keep up the awesome vids
I'm normally not a fan of purple but I gotta say that looks freaking amazing. When you pulled it out of the oven the 2nd time I said to myself wow that looks great.
i would have liked to see the install of the rig more than the paint process because it would just of been visually satisfying of it being pieced together as a finisher. but it came out great.
250$ FOR A DAMN CABLE? I’m not licensed but my dad is a “licensed electrician” (worked officially for the biggest electrical company on Spain) and he would do that for less than 150€
Moza makes awesome stuff and that hgp shifter is absolutely unbeatable at its price and spanks anything under $300 at the whole h pattern part its definitely the best budget h pattern shifter i love my sim setup just need a better cockpit now looking at getting Next Level Racing WS 2.0 its happening and spanks my current stand
I have an awesome BeamNG server you can come chill on from time to time with plenty mods and maps to switch through! Including detailed counties or cities!
I’ve worked in construction for the past 2 years, not long, but liability drives price way up. It might take you 5 minutes but if done incorrectly could cost the replacement cost of the building. People we work with often will over charge for small stuff just because the profit isn’t there but the risk is still the same. Whoever was the last person to work on the building is the first one to be sued. Owner sues tenant, tenant sues contractor, contractor has already “gone out of business” and created a new LLC to protect themselves from liability.
i love this, but it could be too good if the whole project was..able to be mounted in parts, though very nice, i have followed u from the scrach you started the project. Thank you.
Why this oven doesn’t have a glass view port is beyond me. Also small powder coating tip. Cook your piece raw first, with no powder, to remove all the contaminants like oil/cleaner/etc. It’s called off gassing. Helps the powder to stick better and prevents weird bubbling issues where the powder cures but with air under it.
Not sure how much permits cost in your area, but that would be the bulk of the cost. Under the table would be $100 tops. Source: I'm a qualified electrician

when we getting a cooking with dan video using the oven
This^
Since he used it for powder coating already, probably never. If he was going to do it, it would be before because of toxic fumes
so like, I would... but the oven isnt food safe and probably would cook hella cancer chemicals into the food so i wouldnt be able to eat it. I dont wanna waste food :(
@@DOITWITHDAN hear me out new series. Will it powder coat
I still make those chicken tacos with taco bell seasoning to this day.
Man, I’m so happy I found your channel all those years ago. You’re a Salt of the earth, hardworking and genuinely funny guy.
Keep on doing you sir!!
Being able to fab and powdercoat your own sizeable gear must feel awesome!! That purple is awesome looking!
I would have installed the oven for free, simply because you have a excellent ability to make me feel better when I have a bad day. With that said, the whole shop would have burned to ground if I even remotely touch anything electrical 😂

OK so you read the side of the bag that was in this video. Good job.
@@FreddietheFly yeah but dan apperantly thinks reading labels is cringe :P

Keep it up... it's just work!
Out of work late, grabbed some BK for dinner and this is what I come home to! Another banger by the DIWD!
BK is back with a brand new burger you can fuck!
livin the dream
@Wetherr LOL some may say. I really didn't feel like cooking tonight 😂
For the oven try the vent fan to regulate the upper temp with the lower and make it more even
This was such a fun and hilarious episode Dan 😂😂

Glad we found each other again 🤘
Your sim looks truly epic!!
Love to see so much excitement for projects like this and i hope to see many more like this! :D
Best ending clip I’ve ever seen Dan was throwing that dump truck back😂😂

This came out awesome man. Color is amazing and the sim looks like a blast. Can't wait to see how it is with the shifter
A year late but the VR ending is EXACTLY how I imagine my reaction haha I cant wait to build a setup!
Beautiful mate, made up for you. Nothing beats building your own cockpit. It looks so nice i have to say. I would imagine it will take a 20nm motor or above easy. Well done to you and thanks for doing all these build videos on your finished cockpit
Your sense of accomplishment must be through the roof really well built sim racing rig

Loved the VR part at the end lol
But brooooooo that color tho🥰💜 purple is my favorite color and man does that sim set up look amazing!!!!
I'm normally not a fan of purple but I gotta say that looks freaking amazing. When you pulled it out of the oven the 2nd time I said to myself wow that looks great.
awesome color but idk why but I love how the powder looked before the cook
that was a crazy transformation - love the colour
Dan the Sim looks sick man. Get a fan and point it at yourself when your driving in VR on it. Adds to the experience.
Not to mention it gets hot as dick in a VR headset. At least it does for me
i would have liked to see the install of the rig more than the paint process because it would just of been visually satisfying of it being pieced together as a finisher. but it came out great.
250$ FOR A DAMN CABLE? I’m not licensed but my dad is a “licensed electrician” (worked officially for the biggest electrical company on Spain) and he would do that for less than 150€
That's a pretty sweet rig. If i was more into racing games i would totally build one like that with all the adjustability.
Take a q tip with a little acetone and wipe it on a hidden spot on the part. If the q tip comes back clean, the paint is good to take out.
Your reaction to that color was identical to my first time laying a 2 stage powder.
You need to build a shifter setup on the right hand side. Maybe a detachable plat of some sort?
The last minute was pure joy
Nice magic trick with the color! Turned out awesome Bro!
I really appreciate you putting my initials on the simulator. Send it immediately!
That color is amazing, maybe because purple is my favorite color but the shade is perfect
That colour process is pure witchcraft!
“This is fucking bananas” had me dead asf 😭 I can’t wait to finally have my own proper rig
Was Waiting for this but wow mate you've Definitely made some great things and this is something also to be crazy proud of!! Well done mate!! 👌👍
I feel like he had a bit o spicy lettuce before the game play haha love the content man
i wish i had that setup ... can't believe it home made :O
I realized the fact that you say giggity so much you actually sound like a young Seth McFarland
Brother! I've been waiting for this video way too long! Couldn't come soon enough
you can put hdmi splitters on ur pc if you wanted to do triple screen setup js 👍😊
What will stop the chipping is doing it right. Sand blast your metal. Clean it. Put it in the oven to de-gas. Then you start powdering.
🤣🤣🤣cooking class with Dan! Next week, Baking a fucking cake! 😋 😄😄 But seriously, came out amazing!
Dan: type in the comments for the algorithm.
Me: type type type
That's awesome 👍 good job man
Dan looking like a Dad in the Classic Tee ad spot..... GIVE IT TO ME DADDY
For sim racing you should give iRacing a try! super fun and lots of different stuff to try!
The fan is definitely to move the heat .. think about how much faster a air fryer is then a regular oven .. lol came out great tho
The first time I done a two stage like that, I freaked out too lmao. works like that with chrome bases sometimes too.
HELL YA DUDE! Loving the Sim Streams
Proud of you man! Learning curve for sure but you’re fucking killing it!!! Keep it up!
Dude, you never disappoint with your mic holder…I fucking love it 😂
Did anyone else by some tees because Dan just looked so damn good??? ❤❤😅 Your awesome Dan!
Honestly they made a huge difference. They're comfy AF too
also, if you plan to use vr a lot I highly recommend doing a headstap upgrade 100% worth it!
Best bet turn it on wait for it to get up to temp and then wait 10 to 15min, then place the peices in
The last 5 seconds was worth waiting for the black screen to end
Love the color Dan! Long time follower and it makes me so happy seeing you being able to do the shit that makes you happy
I always stay for the few seconds at the very very end, Dan needs to join the twerk team 😂
I have an awesome BeamNG server you can come chill on from time to time with plenty mods and maps to switch through! Including detailed counties or cities!
It's truly the perfect game for realism of driving with clutch and shifter!
When are we getting "baking baked things with Dan, while baked"?
That thing is fucking wicked man 👌to see this start to finish hand made by you is unreal man. You're good to be proud of that 👌
dumb question. when you cut a small piece in the plasma cutter, is it a PITA to get them out of the water with the sheet of metal on there?
I use some extension magnets and just fish them out
Awesome video Dan! Glad to see you happy
get some base shakers, and put one in the back and one under. then simhub :)
I see that bow we need a deer hunting with dan
Great job. Look into cerakote. You could totally do it with your set up. Way more durable
Hey I just started riding and you were a major part in my dream of getting a bike could you do a beginner gear and skills video

Thank you.
love the colour its sick
I know its kind of unrelated but you look live you've lost a lot of weight, you look really good rn
I had a really rough day the other day at work and i got through it by remembering, Like Dan says. it's just work
Fun times! 😁👍

Was there a reason you didn't cap the open ends of the tubes?
fantastic dance moves dan
Epic color 😍
Do you build these rigs for customers?
Don't get confused, its blue
Don't listen to him he's colour blind.
you gotta check out a full motion sim i know you said you might not be able to handle it but at least think about it maybe callab???
always doitwithdan. keep up the fun vids cheers.
Looks amazing!
I've never been more confused about powder coating how on earth did it actually come out purple
Magic I guess idk lmao
1 foot on the brake and 1 foot on the gas is sooooooo much faster when racing both IRL and on the sim
Maybe the fan is for convection? Helps the air temp stay consistent throughout the oven?
What do I know, I’m just a doctor. 😂 jk
best outro ever haha
Looks hella good Mr Dan 🤙🏻
Which vr headset do u use
what racing game were you playing in this vid?
What all happened to you going to the track with the crew? Blockhead said awhile back he was going to to do collab with you in the carts.
na there was no diy, bros too good to be allowed in the diy category

not sure if dan will respond to this but would you ever sell a sim setup on your website?
I know you must get this all the time, but do you still have the magna? I haven't heard/seen anything about it in forever.
