Hi Dr David, I'm a man who had a very bad allergic reaction recently. I was giving antibiotics and antihistamines. I noticed discoloration/scarring to areas that I have been itching i.e face neck tummy and chest. I searched on TH-cam for a treatment to the discoloration and bought hydroquinone. After first one time usage my face and neck turned very red. I stopped using the hydroquinone cream. Unfortunately the red areas face cheeks and nose are now brown as if burnt. It has been two weeks and the brown discoloration won't go. I watched a video of yours about azelaic acid I have been using it but without any noticeable changes. Could you please advise.
I've been watching your videos for a long time. I live in Türkiye and my acne scars affect my whole life and my psychology. I finally finished my medication. I saw several dermatologists. A dermatologist recommended me radiofrequency microneedling + co2 laser + prp( platelet rich plasma ) application. Another dermatologist recommended CO2 laser + subsision procedure+ kollegen Another dermatologist suggested me to do only CO2 laser and subcision procedure after 3 sessions. I'm undecided between these three dermatologists. They will combine these procedures and apply them to my face on the same day. But I'm not sure which one would be better. I'm not sure if it would make sense to do subcision every time I do CO2 laser without filling, and then do subcision in the last session and then fill. or radiofrequency microneedling laser + co2 laser + pdr I'm not sure if it will be healthy when made together. Ive tried IPL and Fraxel for post acne red spots. IPL results were mediocre, but nothing miraculous. Fraxel results were zero was expensive and painful. I'm not sure where to go from here. I've had these for decades. I use daily gold stabilized Vit C, etc. Which laser do you recommend as a next step?

Would you consider microneedling to be a good way to remove PIE?
