Fun fact the bass not being able to follow up with the mids and highs is because jbl boosts the bass at lower volumes and because the drivers are too weak they can't keep sending more power into them so they just stay at the same volume on the lows. If you hold the + and - button for about 10 seconds it disables the boost and bass limit and that will also introduce bottoming out if you go past about 80% volume

Good that they keep the aux. I need aptx LL ( no lipsync) for my portable projector , so i can pus another Bluetooth receiver device. How the battery works in cold conditions?
@@Rtlatee Just tested it today. It's good yeah! Also charges fast. Connectivity with bluetooth is smooth and you can also use an AUX-cable with it. I would definitely recommend it!
Does this essential work on jbl app . I'v read it does. Yet when I try the jbl app can not find it . The essential is not on the list ? Just wondered, incase you can do a update . Like on my charge 4.

The sound quality is good for the price and its suitable for outdoor use. On sale at Walmart for Black Friday 2021 for $59. Decided to get it for that price. Can't go wrong with a price like that.
Advertised as 50 and they honored it. But when you add it to the cart it was 59. Odd

Hey I have a JBL flip essential Portable speaker and I’m trying to charge it and nothing is working
Contact jbl as they replaced mine with a flip4.
So is essential better than flip 3?
