Jbl must have produced too many flip3 parts and are trying to clean out the warehouses.
No idea why all the portable speakers I find on the internet don't have 3.5mm input to do a wired connection to a PC or something - finally, something with what I want!!!

This speaker is stil better than the extreme line of jbl speakers if you only use it when you're on the go and not if you want it to use for a party

It isn’t fully. Flip 3 se Has partyboost and bluetooth 3.0 and it isn’t waterproof, only splashproof. Flip essential doesn’t have partyboost, it has bluetooth 4.1, And is waterproof. These are all the diffrences. Don’t forget. The flip 3 se has 2x 6watt drivers. And flip essential has 2x 8 watt drivers

Flip 5 is mono sound.
Even the sound of Flip 3 vs Flip 4 is a bit different.
Personally, I prefer Flip 3.
Flip 3 is no longer available.
However, Flip 3 Essential or Flip 3 SE (both are the same with different name) are available with a few technical changes.

You can rewind it 100 more times, this was not enough, you didn't say anything, especially that you see the JBL logo .... Try connecting it, pairing it with your mobile, downloading and installing the application, and using the device with it. JBL connect does not support Flip Essential and no other also does with Android 10/11

How do u charge it
through micro-USB connector behind the door, that was not open on the video, where the AUX connectors are located, including a jack port entry. Please note that the micro-USB is only a charge-only port, (no data) ! you need to use either the jack port either bluetooth to produce music.

Flip 4 has lower bass. Frequency response of the flip 4 starts from 70hz, whereas Flip 3(or essential, se) from 85 hz
