  • This is an informational video about the many wineries that are dog friendly in the Niagara-on-the-Lake. Those where you can have wine tastings, go for a walk, maybe have some lunch and not have to leave your fur baby in the kennel.
We visited all of these wineries and showed footage of the entrance and the dog friendly areas so that you can decide which ones will work best for you. Please consider subscribing as it is free for you and really helps us make more informational videos.
Things are always changing so always double check before you visit just in case the wineries have changed their policies.

Great video! Any favourite large dog friendly accommodations in the area?

Yes! I listed some in the description and how they are rated. There are a couple of lovely B&Bs on the list.
Piller and Post is dog friendly and their location is excellent but their dog friendly rooms are fairly pricey.
I really like the Hilton Grden Inn NOTL, as well. It is a simple and clean hotel. They charge $50 extra for a large dog but they are pretty well priced to start with. I have a video on that one on my channel if you want to see the room details.
      Hope that helps 🙂

Thank you for your video. Visiting the area for the holidays. When you say dogs are allowed in the retail area, does that mean in the tasting area/room?

Many of the wineries we visited allowed our dog in the tasting room. It seems to depend on whether they have food in addition to wine. If they have a food menu, dogs are discouraged form being indoors.
I would choose your favourite wineries and then confirm your dog is allowed in the tasting room before you arrive. Hopefully, it won't have changed for the holidays.
We are planning on being in the area with our dog for Boxing Day. 🙂
