They make the purchase, sign a contract, and the idiot's son IMMEDIATELY crashes the scooter, totally destroying it. The father then demands a refund from OP for selling a broken scooter. WTF??? You bought it, so now it's YOUR problem!

I guarantee this is the same sort of person that thinks they’ll get better service at a restaurant if they put a $10 tip (in ones) on the table as soon as they sit down, then take away a dollar for each thing the server does “wrong”.
@@Pineapply_Queen Yeah the only time I've seen that done (even on TV) and it get anywhere near working is with waitress tip amounts decreasing as times goes by between coffee refills.

I actually share my Netflix account with my mom, a friend and even this friend's FAMILY. Each one has their separate users, and I didn't charge them anything for about two years. Lately I went into saving mode, so I asked if they could pay me, and both my friend and mom said yes with no problem. My friend even paid me back the years he'd been using it for free! It's so nice to be surrounded by good people =)
I'm sharing with my family. Mostly because I figured that I might as well. I pay for the ultra HD and don't use four screens on my own. So far, I'm the only one paying because I've received financial help from my parents.
That's how it is with my mom too. Plus Disney +. We split it between us. Pretty nice
My mom has been paying for Netflix and Hulu since it came out. I pay her spotify and we have a plan together. My fiance pays for Disney+ we have a nice little system that works well. I've never given out my mom's password. We respect each other's rules and live in subscription harmony.

Ikr. It's fucked and i thought it was all made up till i heard about my cousin. She has(or had, her kids are in a better home now)a journal. In this journal she was noting stuff she bought for her kids and how much so they can pay her back when they get older.

I've heard/read real life court cases, and I've seen it a few times on shit like Judge Judy and similar shows. The logic of these people is insane. It's the same logic that argues in the back of my head if I somehow am the bad one for just leaving my abusive family so suddenly. I am programmed to think I owe them myself.

If a person claims they're something, then there's a 98% chance that they are not that. Example here being that the mom claims to be the least selfish person and then demonstrates she is the most selfish person

That is part of an actual negotiation tactic, I even use it. However, there is a very specific way to pull it off and very few people know how and it doesn't work for every case. It requires you to be firm, aggressive, but fair, and for the other person to be desperate but not in destitute.

The almond milk story; you don’t know the girl, she could be lactose intolerant or have a legit allergy.
My husband and sons are lactose intolerant, they cannot digest Almond drink or any fluid that has galactose. Cheese, yoghurt and any other dairy product that has the galactose broken down, they can digest. Lactose intolerance is caused by a lack of the enzyme to break down galactose into simpler sugars. Cow, sheep, goat and human breast milk has this complex sugar. All of the alternatives, almond, rice, oat and soya drinks have the same galactose in them. All these alternatives cause the same symptoms. The only remedy is enzyme replacement, either by drops/pills or buying cow's milk with the enzyme included. Also, milk is an animal product by definition. How the alternatives are made is by adding water to the oats, rice or almonds overnight. The liquid is drained and packaged and the used cereals/nuts are discarded. Yes, you are paying for the soaking water. It's way cheaper to make your own and much healthier and eco friendly. Lactose intolerance is a real medical condition.

I feel bad for that dude with the Netflix account, to have his own mother act that way to him. In my almost forty years of being alive my mother would never even think of saying "f u" to either me or my sister. I can't imagine how much that must hurt to have a piece of garbage like that as a parent. As much as it sucks for people in that position, the silver lining is that it makes those of us that don't have to deal with crap like that appreciate our families even more...

From personal experience with a mother very similar to OP.... he will only grow stronger from this and develops a greater appreciation for the people that are there to help him succeed. It was a bitter sweet moment when she passed lots of regrets and resentment because of the way she is. But I still have to thank her for giving me to strength to be able to succeed in life

The almond milk one isn’t too bad. People are always so narrow minded when it comes to things like this and it’s annoying.
1.) some people don’t drink cow’s milk because it goes against their religion, morals, and ideals
2.) some people don’t drink cow’s milk because they are allergic/lactose intolerant and drinking it could put them in the hospital or leave them in worse pain than before eating the pepper
3.) some people don’t drink cow’s milk because they are vegan, and if you have ever in your life been on a prolonged dietary plan that involved cutting out certain things then you would know that eating one of the things you haven’t eaten in years can make you a EXTREMELY sick! My friend has been vegan for many years of her life and one time someone gave her something to eat that they said was vegan, but actually contained chicken broth or something and she had to go to the hospital because she got so sick.
People have reasons for turning down things that you wouldn’t, so many people are ignorant towards those who don’t follow their same lifestyle and don’t eat the same things they do. Before complaining about vegans, vegetarians, and people who don’t drink cow’s milk try to understand that you don’t know them or why they are turning it down and it’s not your place to criticize them. This goes to everyone who does that. It’s annoying.
I'm not sure about you, but if I was in that sort of situation i wouldn't have paused and asked for almond milk, I would have quickly said that the normal milk was bad for my health.

OP no doubt exaggerated when they said she paused mid-freak out, she most likely just asked "do you have almond milk instead" whilst still waving her hands in front of her tongue to ease the pain, I highly doubt she would've just "paused" that doesn't make any sense. Plus in moments of extreme pain, its hard to think straight, and you shouldn't have to explain to strangers why you need almond milk instead of regular milk, its none of their business. If they actually cared they would just get some almond milk, you shouldnt have to explain your morals, religion, and health problems to people you don't know, just saying that you need something other than regular cow's milk should be enough for anyone with half a brain to go "Hey, this person cannot drink this thing for whatever reason, to not possibly put their life in further danger I should do what they say is best for their health"

I understand what you’re saying. I think this story has a lot of issues with it, because people may stupidly grab and eat peppers, but a ghost pepper??? Like those can actually cause burns and ruptures in your esophagus and stomach lining. Right? Which could be fatal...so I think I’d risk the lactose intolerance keeping me on the toilet and being miserable rather than something burning a hole through any part my digestive system...
But if it Wasn’t actually a ghost pepper, and she was just panicking thinking it was, then this story makes a lot more sense to me. Because I don’t think she’d have the presence of mind to stop freaking out and Ask if it were a legitimately dangerous ghost pepper, y’know?

I heard the same as you - the capsaicin isn't water soluble, but _will_ dissolve in fats, like milk, yoghurt, butter etc.
I've never heard that heating the water makes a difference?
From personal experience, alcohol seems to help - don't know whether it's because the capsaicin dissolves and gets washed away, or just because the booze acts as an anaesthetic.
Water will cool down your mouth briefly, but the stuff that's hurting you is still there after you swallow.
The 'Do you have almond milk?' thing doesn't seem like a choosing beggar situation to me. She could have been extremely lactose intolerant. She could have had allergies. Also, if she were a vegan, suddenly ingesting dairy could actually make her sick, because her body would no longer be used to it. Either way, it doesn't seem crazy for her to at least ask. Almond milk is super popular these days, so there was a good chance that someone might have it.

The almond milk one can be a legit concern. I'm lactose intolerant and a few minutes of pain from the habanero is much more tolerable to the hours of pain from the cows milk.
Only if you swallow.....which someone lactose intolerant would know better NOT to do. Does she swallow her toothpaste, mouthwash, gum, or fish bones ?? lol I'm sure any milk will cool down the mouth. But, she should have drank and swallowed it....we'd have another reddit story of malicious compliance of her puking on the person that was nice enough to offer help.
@@RandysRides actually swallowing will help neutralize the effects of the pepper if you swallow not just with the heat in the mouth. Either way, there are people who are also allergic to cows milk that can cause hives and other symptoms that is not worth the hours or even days of pain.

Also, they said this girl was basically panicking and if you’re panicking it’s not going to cross your mind to just put the milk in your mouth (if she’s lactose intolerant) and panicking would make it really difficult to keep from swallowing at least some of the milk. For some people even a thimbleful of milk can cause hours of severe pain.
As well as, holding milk in your mouth isn’t going to do anything for the burning in your throat, esophagus, and stomach.
In fairness to the milk girl, she could have been lactose intolerant.

I’ve noticed that when gender isn’t clear, Rslash tends to default to thinking it’s a guy. That’s understandable, though. When I read stuff on reddit where gender is ambiguous, I more often than not think it’s a woman/girl. I think that’s pretty natural and normal human psychology.
Plus, in that particular case, reading it as a dude makes it funnier.

5:45 Listen I know it's all well and fun to mock entitled vegans who demand alternatives to attempted kindness, but when it comes to milk in particular there are a decent list of dietary restrictions that could be worse to ignore than a burning mouth. Granted she may have been an entitled vegan and the tone implies that (especially the specificity of almond), but I think it's important to remember that the screaming vegans have made it really hard for people who have genuine dietary restrictions to be taken seriously. People tend to take any opportunity to laugh at requests like this now, because vegans and PETA and whatnot being as loud and blatantly stupid as they are.
But I've heard horror stories of people who got very sick because baristas assumed their request for skim/vegan/non-cow milk was some sense of pretentious entitlement, and felt it was within their rights to "prove" normal milk was just fine.
In all honestly, if someone requests non-dairy milk, be it soy or almond or whatever, please just give it to them. Maybe an entitled vegan gets "validated" or whatever. But it takes away the risk of seriously hurting someone.

"Entitled vegans" - just because youre okay with killing & exploiting animals, doesn't mean other people have to be. I'm a meat-eater myself, but I definitely respect vegans & I think they are ethically correct. Imagine you've been transported to an alternate reality where cannibalism & drinking human breast milk were normal - would you be cool with consuming it? Veganism should be respected, and I think the reason so many people react negatively to it is because they know the vegans are right, and theyre trying to suppress the guilt. You're a murderer, I'm a murderer, vegans are morally superior to us. Also, as an aside, if someone knowingly feeds a vegan animal-products because they disagree with them, they should be charged with criminal assault.
To be fair to the vegans, after years of not having cow's milk, suddenly ingesting it could cause a bad reaction similar to lactose intolerance. It's not all just entitlement.

As far as we can tell, she didn't demand anything or get upset when they didn't have it, she just didn't want to drink cow's milk, whether for dietary or ethical reasons doesn't really matter. I believe I had a similar Netflix story. I set up different viewer "accounts" some my roommates and i could all enjoy without our watched things effecting each other's recommendations. One roommate moved out with her boyfriend, now husband, and I let them keep using my login because they had financial trouble, some of which was their own making some just bad luck and timing, and I was already paying for the 3 at once plan. I moved a while later but still didn't remove anyone. Then one day I get an email alert from Netflix asking if I really was changing my attached email. I immediately informed Netflix "no that isnt me" and checked my account and all the names on the "who's watching" were changed and the language was changed to Spanish. I kicked every system auto logged in and changed my password and reset everything. I told my friends my account had been hacked and id see about giving them the new password later after I double checked some things. Now I'll admit my password at the time wasnt great and it could have just been a hack. But I had a suspicion my friends husband was to blame. He has some maturity issues, I blame well intended over protective parents who restricted him too much to learn things with the safety net of still living at home. At the time he had a lot of online friends who were younger then him, I personally think he liked feeling like the older mature one of a group since he never got that in our friend groups. I suspect he shared my Netflix account without asking, a mutual friend had shared their Hulu account and admitted they didnt care if we shared it with others so he might never have thought there was a difference, to one of his friends who either shared in turn or tried to take it over. I never confronted him about it, but ran the idea by other friend who agreed it sounded like something he'd do, because again it could have been a random hack. But I never gave them the new password.
