    Your channel is great stuff!
    I’m restoring a 69 cj5 and while I’m not working on it I love watching you and your buddies crawling !
    Keep up your great work with the channel!
    Thanks Artie

    I’ve got an 84 CJ7 I’m slowly building up. Been watching these vids and decided to go with 4.56 in the AMC20/Dana 30 differentials. I’ll put in the one piece axels when I can afford them.

    Good job with the background music. Adds excitement, but doesn't drown out engine or voices.

    In Brazil, it's " wheel break men "

    Rolling 35s on an AMC20? Very good throttle control! Try airing down those 35s:) Love to see CJs on the trail!

      Yup. AMC20 it is! I know he has 1 piece shafts, not sure what else.

      Yes, 1 piece shafts, anti-wrap bar, 4.10s, Spartan lunch-box, HD diff cover, disc brakes with caliper bracket, Samurai rotors and 300ZX calipers.

    Wheeling with a clutch is tough as hell.

    Good looking 7! How much lift do you have with your custom springs?

    • @ckimes13
      @ckimes13 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Sorry that I didn’t know there was a question from so long ago. The springs are about 1” but the SOA (springs over the axle) gain about 5”.

    I have an '81 CJ7 that I want to put 35's on. Any recommendations on gear ratios?

    • @ThatJeepAdventure
      @ThatJeepAdventure  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      What motor? Intended use? (Mostly street, some trail, rock crawling?)

    • @robertforzano4697
      @robertforzano4697 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ThatJeepAdventure It has a 4.2l and I will use it mostly for street, but I want the clearance for trying the Rubicon.

    • @ThatJeepAdventure
      @ThatJeepAdventure  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would probably go 4.56. If it was more trail dedicated I would say 4.88s. I’m assuming that you have the AMC20 rear. Do you have one piece shafts already?

    • @robertforzano4697
      @robertforzano4697 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ThatJeepAdventure Yes I have the AMC 20 with a Truetrac positraction differential and one piece shafts. I've also replaced the leaf springs with ones that gave me a 2.5" lift and shackles that added another 1.5".

      Sweet, you should be good to go then!
