Let me explain to ppl who are saying she has inconsistencies in her story. When it comes to trauma you literally block what happens to you. And when it regurgitated it may come back to mind as a puzzle in pieces.

She simply wasn’t ready to tell the entire truth. I don’t believe she is making stuff up I just think she is leaving out a lot of detail to protect her prophet mother and other people and it does come off as unbelievable.The trauma is so deep and misunderstood that she can’t articulate her thought and feeling surrounding it. I could agree that she has some ptsd and just not fully capable of speaking her truth yet. It’s a defense mechanism. In real life I believe she probably puts on a good happy front while still dying inside and needing continued therapy to work through this.

She's withholding menial details and then telling the most perplexing ones... If she isn't ready to "tell all" then why even do the interview. It's misleading.

I had a rough childhood. I was molested at 6 years old by my stepdad and raped at 17 by a family friend. I sympathize with her and her story. Listening to her I am still grateful to God. You never know what others are going through and sometimes you think you have it sooo bad, but there are others who are going through so much worse. I pray that she heals and that God gives her peace🙏🏽

@@meekameek6428 Thank you! I am better now. I forgave my mom and that took a lot. I was at peace when she passed away, there was no bitterness in my heart. I have also forgiven others who were involved. It doesn’t change what was done but I do feel that I’ve overcome my situation because of forgiveness.

And yes she is telling the truth about not spreading hiv and it being undetected just as long as she takes her meds! I’m a nurse and I worked at a hiv clinic and was educated on how it works so yes she is telling the truth!
Her momma is a prophet, knew something was wrong and she requested doctors to test her for everything BUT didnt know something was wrong with her daughter all those years growing up. 😒

She not has PTSD, but cumulative PTSD and who ever her therapist is, needs to sit all the way DOWN! As an HIV/STD Advocate, she’s telling the truth about becoming undetectable as longs as positive persons take their meds they can remain negative. As an added layer protection, their partner (if that partner is HIV negative) can take a PrEP medication that can help prevent them from becoming positive.

This young lady was violated at the age of 8, that alone speaks volumes . Truma and more truma, borned into it.

I've seen and heard a lot working in medicine. I've even been through more angst and stress than I'd like, but this here had me transfixed. It's easily understandable the emotions and stress that this young lady has been under. As weak as she states she felt, I see an extremely strong woman. I listened to what she was saying and followed her every word. You have to listen to her every word to follow her truth. This poor young lady has been traumatized since the age of 8 years old.
She shut down mentally at the end. Having a mental diagnosis is not a bad thing, it helps you understand and get through. If her therapist is saying there is nothing wrong after all she’s been through, then I would suggest she find another therapist. She was showing signs all through this interview of mental trauma…not being able to tell stories, not being able to recall things, melting down at points….she definitely has something’s that she needs to work through and she should definitely explore it with a therapist to truly free herself and face her demons.

Yes, the end of the video was a clear fight or flight response. She felt Tasha was questioning the validity of her story and she started giving short answers and rolling her eyes as a defense mechanism because she was triggered. She literally checked out.
My best friend has childhood trauma (SA is one of them) and she has severe bipolar disorder and personality disorder (I don’t know the correct name for it). I’m saying this bc I think this woman suffers from a mental illness as well

She was literally laughing and smiling while recounting very dark matters and there were several differences in her story. So, I actually commend Tasha for her relative control; it's hard to maintain neutral presentation and demeanor when LOGIC and REASON tells you that someone is lying to your face.

Also Tasha should probably consider a different career if it’s so challenging maintaining a neutral demeanour whilst interviewing. That’s the very least one can do.

Even if she went through therapy, which she said she has and still is, she may never be able to tell the story in a way that’s coherent enough for other people. Trauma affects everyone differently. Even if the same trauma is inflicted upon different people, each person may react to it differently and heal from it differently or not at all, regardless of what type of help and amount of help they receive for it.

I want Tasha to tap into official training for interviewing victims . Talking can be very re traumatizing and it’s like Tasha doesn’t understand that . And that’s just the very basics of speaking w a victim . This was hard to watch bc of some parts of Tasha questioning , then leaving her alone just in front of the cam when see was mid story . Can’t be the only one feeling like wait Tasha you may need official training esp if you be making money off of someone trauma

@@ponpon1234there are quite a few married couples where one of the spouses is HiV+ and the other doesn't know. In a hospital setting or clinic under HIPPA, if the patient doesn't want their spouse to know, you can't tell them.

I've worked for HIV/AIDS awareness in the African America community. Currently pursuing my degree in Psychology. I can relate to her story about being molested by my cousin and grandfather. This is a generational curse. The guest is brave to tell her truths. A very rewarding task. Every story is not smooth sailing and straight to the point. There is growth and healing in speaking your truth. Many hide or run from their truths. People who don't have HIV marry people who have HIV; that also goes for herpes, etc etc. Some people who die of the cancer but the initial cause of cancer was AIDS. There was another case that a man, out of prison, gave his virgin wife HIV. With that, seeking YAH/God in all that we do, will help and warn the next generation. Thanks for sharing your story! I hope it helps others live their true purpose.

I feel it's sad that for some people who don't understand, you choose to say things calling her a liar, this and that. Consider yourself blessed to have been spared this pain and pray for others. If you can't then disconnect, don't watch, listen, and say nothing. It's not that hard. Prayers for her for healing and for peace.

I'm not gonna say she's not being truthful. If all these things happened to her, it may be difficult for her to put the events in sequence and/or remember ALL the particulars. Some traumatic moments from my past I can recall and some I can't. Some I've suppressed and put out of my mind. So let's just hear her out and pray for her. I'm not gonna judge her.

I feel for this young lady. I hope she knows letting it all out will set her free and letting those that violated her be held accountable will also allow her to heal. She will never fully heal if she continues to keep part of the story to herself. she has nothing to be ashamed of and should not feel obligated to protect adults that did not protect her.

This was the most annoying interview I ever tried to listen to. She got too much confusion and missing pieces going on.

I remember a lady who had a very similar story to this lady ….and she said she went to church one day and a lady told her, there’s a mark on you…..the devil has a mark on you, that’s why every man you meet treats you badly, disrespects and abuses you….it’s almost like they can spot you out of a crowd …..after hearing their story I don’t feel it’s so much as a mark, but demonic spirits can get passed on….multiple spirits ….this young lady in this story needs a complete deliverance if she hasn’t already had one…..I’m so glad she found a good husband who loves and cherishes her 🙏

I believed EVERY word this woman said, and she was so clear and rational, and I was able to follow her story, as she told it, and for me, there was no confusion. No doubt. My heart goes TOTALLY out to her and i am encouraged that she is now able to love and be loved and has a life. With that said, the interviewer was AWFUL!! TERRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!! Based on THIS interview, she should NOT be trusted to interview a fire ant. It was such a brave story, but the interviewer, walking out of the interview, talking with side crew during the interview, telling the guest that it's hard to believe her story, and that people will bully her for lying, and acting as if she is ignorant about a lot of what the guest was describing...ALL of this stuff made me so upset because this woman has already been through so much. She crossed every single boundary line. Even asking names very early on in the interview before she even attempted to establish trust. A feral cat could have conducted a more civilized interview.

The interviewer should educate herself before questioning or interrogatoring the person she's interviewing. Especially, on a topic thats so sensitive. Your questioning her about how she can be undetected and how can she be HIV positive and not pass it. This lady is telling the truth you can have HIV and be undetected and sleep with someone unprotected and not pass it. The way you were questioning her it was like you were scrutinizing her.
