I love how Rex looks more like Temuera Morrison in this rather than looking how he does in Clone Wars. Makes it feel more like the movies and revenge of the sith.
ive always wondered just when the last scene takes place. because it could very well be he thought Ahsoka was gone, as he could've come here shortly after the rise of the empire. ive also heard a theory that he came here AFTER his battle with her in Rebels, because he thought she was gone, AGAIN. in either case, i find it extremely intriguing that Vader took her lightsaber with him. He always did have trouble letting go of those he loved...
Plus in the comic version he had a vision before so that he would meet her again and I’m sure they wondered who survived due to the fact that all those bodies were buried so someone had to survive even if it was a clone who buried his brothers
@@FongLin100 Yeah Space Whales were a stupid idea, but everything else is good, the World between Worlds was a really interesting concept, and they did a great job with Ahsoka's plot.
You can tell just how much this scene meant to the fans when they're willing to put this much of their life into making it their own. It's just... a real human moment. Great work.

even knowing they will kill her that there is NOTHING she can do to stop them and that they're all probably going to die she still refuses to kill them she almost dies keeping that promise and still takes the time to bury them when it's over, that entire episode is just everything we love about Ahsoka shown at once

That was a simply outstanding interpretation of the scene. As an aside, I love the symbolism contained within Jesse's helmet. We see his helmet painted with the 'cog' symbol, as a grave marker signifying the death of the republic. Later when Vader visits the crash site, it is gone, or buried under the snow, thus the republic has been swept away. Subtle, but brilliant.
We were all kids when the clone wars began and now even today as adults every one here cried during this scene that ended the war nearly 20 years later

They were also smart enough to put Dave and Jon in a position to repair the franchise, so it is illogical to give them all the blame for the crap and none of credit for the good.
The symbolism in the final shot is unreal. Ahsoka and the clones watching Anakin turn away from all that he cared about, broken by rage and grief and guilt. Spectacular.
"Unreal" Engine is fitting, for how surreal the whole scene was. The gentle music, the lack of dialogue. Those last few episodes felt like they came from another reality... Like a dream... Amazing work...
We really need to appreciate that Star Wars has managed to take a character that could've been silly and a parody of himself like Vader and made him a real tragic figure.

It’s funny how a kids show is so tragic. But there’s beauty within that, even in the end, as the remnants of the republic are buried with the clones, we see the beauty and hope within Asoka. Who spent hours, days even, burying the men who tried to kill her. Because she knows that they didn’t want to, that they resisted, and she treats them with the respect they deserve.

We officially live in a world where regular people can make better-looking CG art than major Hollywood studios. I'd say that's a very very very good sign.
Animation and simple CG models are an entirely different beast. Good as this clip looked, I, unfortunately, couldn't get past the wonky walk cycles and animations of movements. Honestly, when it comes to star wars, i dont think there's been anything close to the quality of the old republic cg trailers, and those happened when i was in middle school.

Beautifully done. Imagine if we got a snippet of this in BF 3 - starting from this scene, where you’re a member of the 501st but the story specifically is set in between 3 and 4
The Ahsoka asset was extemely well done I feel, pro level almost. Some of the animations could use a little work, especially Vader ones. Overall superb work!
Fucking amazing. Bravo indeed. I will say though that Rex’s and Vader’s animation is a bit rough with the fluidity but other than that, got me right in the feels again.

Ahsoka Tano: you're a good soldier Rex so is everyone of those men down there they may be willing to die but I am not the one who's going to kill Them.
Yoda lived 900 years. The 3-4 years of the clone wars wasn't exactly a foundational moment for him. He also didn't have to kill the men that had been under his command for those years. They were just regular clones. They're also Jedi, no attachment and all that. They didn't like it. But they can't let sorrow and pain take over. In contrast. Ashoka has spend a 1/3 of her life, The bigger part of her Jedi life, with these men specifically. She knew them. Personally.
Its not exactly fair because Ahsoka is the only one out of all of them that found out about the chips as order 66 was happening. As far as all the other Jedi were concerned, the clones were just betraying them outright. Only Ahsoka had the means to figure out that the clones were literally physically forced to comply, so rather than betrayal, she just felt pity for them. In fact, even Ahsoka lethally deflected blaster bolts back at some of the clones before she figured out what was going on.
@@unsapient2197 nope, the Jedi Canonically knew about the chips and what they did just not why or how. Yoda KNEW that the war was going to be lost and Order 66 would happen after he spoke to the Whills
@@TheMeta141 yes and no. All the jedi as well as the governments were told is that there were specific orders for the clones to follow if given. If the jedi had betrayed the republic order 66 was issued. If the civilian population was in a uncontrollable uproar another order was given to quell the disorder, if the chancellor refused to give up his position of power, order 65 was given. Palpatine made the 150 orders to make it seem like they were innocent and were only used in emergencies. They did not suspect that the order 66 was going to be used against them. So no, there was no stopping it.
The craziest thing, is you can almost feel Anakin's pain showing through, the hint of regret for what his actions caused. This was likely one of the moments that hardened his heart and helped him truly become a Sith.
What makes it worse? He had bent down to look at Rex's helmet... Believing his Old Friend to be dead and wanting to Pay Respects, but had found Ashoka's lightsaber while doing so. (Watch his hand motion. It moved slightly forward, before suddenly backtracking, as if Vader had intended to do something else, but caught sight of the Lightsaber.)
It's honestly so amazing how much feeling you could portray with literally no dialogue. The animation quality to top it off really tied it all together, absolutely phenomenal.
This was absolutely stunning. The episode itself was easily one of the best bits of star wars media ever made, but this remake was freaking incredible. It's impressive to see such effort go into the unreal engine. Amazing work!!
Can you just imagine those clones just following orders, just dying? And if an afterlife exists, knowing that they really died in vain. Died as pawns, tools.
A full movie about the battle of geonosis would be so amazing!! Just imagine a clone squad getting attacked and carried away by a bunch of hungry geonosians and how grievous got his first Jedi kill and all of those clankas just getting cut up and shot to dust

It’s bittersweet because you know the story’s of these characters continue but you know one of the purest forms of star wars is at a close.
That opening cutscene sent a more powerful message than all three sequel trilogy movies combined.

Not only was it the end of the Clone Wars & the Jedi Order, but it was also the end of many a childhood that grew up watching this series.
It would be epic if that remake every episode of the clone wars like this

Seeing the empire in this episode was sick, they didn't look cartoonish or dumb they actually looked badass.

The Ahsoka asset was extemely well done I feel, pro level almost. Some of the animations could use a little work, especially Vader ones. Overall superb work!

Fucking amazing. Bravo indeed. I will say though that Rex’s and Vader’s animation is a bit rough with the fluidity but other than that, got me right in the feels again.

This is the sadest episode of all Star Wars The Clone Wars, when i saw Vader, my heart was broken, and it still been broken

The scene on the unreal engine is amazing. The somber tone, the music, and the animation. Just perfect.

This was great, the only thing that looked a little weird was Vader’s cape blowing in the wind when he picked up the light saber
I find it even more sad that she was the only one who did not have it in her to take there lives and Obi-Wan and Yoda did it so easily
Yoda lived 900 years. The 3-4 years of the clone wars wasn't exactly a foundational moment for him. He also didn't have to kill the men that had been under his command for those years. They were just regular clones.
They're also Jedi, no attachment and all that. They didn't like it. But they can't let sorrow and pain take over.
In contrast. Ashoka has spend a 1/3 of her life, The bigger part of her Jedi life, with these men specifically. She knew them. Personally.
Its not exactly fair because Ahsoka is the only one out of all of them that found out about the chips as order 66 was happening. As far as all the other Jedi were concerned, the clones were just betraying them outright. Only Ahsoka had the means to figure out that the clones were literally physically forced to comply, so rather than betrayal, she just felt pity for them.
In fact, even Ahsoka lethally deflected blaster bolts back at some of the clones before she figured out what was going on.

@@unsapient2197 nope, the Jedi Canonically knew about the chips and what they did just not why or how. Yoda KNEW that the war was going to be lost and Order 66 would happen after he spoke to the Whills
@@TheMeta141 yes and no. All the jedi as well as the governments were told is that there were specific orders for the clones to follow if given. If the jedi had betrayed the republic order 66 was issued. If the civilian population was in a uncontrollable uproar another order was given to quell the disorder, if the chancellor refused to give up his position of power, order 65 was given. Palpatine made the 150 orders to make it seem like they were innocent and were only used in emergencies. They did not suspect that the order 66 was going to be used against them. So no, there was no stopping it.

Whenever I watch the clone wars and I see scenes like this I suddenly feel the need to salute.
Same.
The craziest thing, is you can almost feel Anakin's pain showing through, the hint of regret for what his actions caused. This was likely one of the moments that hardened his heart and helped him truly become a Sith.
What makes it worse? He had bent down to look at Rex's helmet... Believing his Old Friend to be dead and wanting to Pay Respects, but had found Ashoka's lightsaber while doing so. (Watch his hand motion. It moved slightly forward, before suddenly backtracking, as if Vader had intended to do something else, but caught sight of the Lightsaber.)

It's honestly so amazing how much feeling you could portray with literally no dialogue. The animation quality to top it off really tied it all together, absolutely phenomenal.

This was absolutely stunning. The episode itself was easily one of the best bits of star wars media ever made, but this remake was freaking incredible. It's impressive to see such effort go into the unreal engine. Amazing work!!
I can't get over how you see the sorrow in Vader without ever seeing his eyes.
Actually, go back to the scene. You actually can see his eyes, and i feel like the sad look the helmet has is on purpose aswell.

A full movie about the battle of geonosis would be so amazing!! Just imagine a clone squad getting attacked and carried away by a bunch of hungry geonosians and how grievous got his first Jedi kill and all of those clankas just getting cut up and shot to dust
The siege of mandalore was the best part or season 7 other than the clone wars coming back for a last season
