She helped but Luke saying he would rather die than kill his father was what finally saved him. And everything that had happen in his life came flooding back at that moment. all the people that he loved and this was the last one who loved him still. His son. This was a great video. It highlights why every starwars fan should watch clone wars and rebels. They are sooo well made. It makes the movies look pale by comparison. the last 3
For me the most powerful scene was more at the end of the battle when ahsoka say she wont leave him this time and you can see anakin sadness and remorse but then he retreats into vader and say "then you will die". Maybe this was the moment where he was the closest to return to the light but it still wasn't enough.
@@TheWarleader definitely agree! master piece! the last "clone wars" is just amazing too! i guess Ahsoka ll save baby yoda now from boba?as she always save "force sensible children" since palpatine track em! "I am no Jedi!"
Palptaine had nothing to do with what happen with Ashoka. It was all Barriss completely. She was trying to force the Jedi out of the war by turning the Republic against the Jedi. The Jedi almost didn't hand Ashoka over to the republic. If they had stood their ground it would have forced him to label the Jedi as traitors to the republic. This would have sent the Jedi in to hiding and would have ruined Palptaine plans. So that would be a really high risk to take just to separate Ashoka from Anakin. If anything he was probably pissed at Barriss for almost upsetting all his plans. He probably tortured the hell out of her after the Purge. She very nearly came close to ruining all of Palpatine plans. Palptaine wasn't the least bit worried about Ashoka being able keep Anakin from turning to the dark side. Heck I don't even think she was a blip on his Rader. He knew she existed but beyond that he probably found her to be insignificant. She tried to save him in rebels and for a brief second she got through to him but then he turned and went after her. If she had been there when he turned he ultimately would have killed her. As powerful as she was at that point she wasn't powerful enough to take Anakin on at that point and time. Even worse if she was there when he help Palptaine kill Mace. If she had been there she most certainly would have died. Bottom line is there nothing in the story line that even remotely suggest that Palpatine was even remotely behind what happen to Ashoka. As far as I know nothing Disney has done has expanded on that to make Palptaine apart of Barriss plans.
@@michaelrunk8593 You really don't think that was part of Palpatine's plan? I know it's not explicitly stated, but I find it highly likely that he influenced Barriss in some way, just as he later influenced Anakin; maybe through dreams, maybe through exposing her to certain information while downplaying other info... you know, the same exact thing our media does today? Anyways, there's no way Barriss would have taken the actions she did - particularly using innocents to carry out bombings - without some degree of Dark Side influence.
@@grantjohnson4810 Fun Fact: the Jedi temple on coruscant, is built on top of an ancient Sith shrine, this shrine is what creates the dark side cloak, remember every time the council stated that the future was clouded? That’s the sith shrine at work, the 19 Jedi who left the order were influenced by this shrine as well, not to mention they also saw what was happening to the Jedi order, the story of how count dooku left the order actually highlights this, as a governor of a planet planted false evidence and reported it to the Jedi, and they sent count dooku to kill the governor’s political competition. This was the mission he was on while qui-gon jinn went to help the queen of Naboo. When he discovered the falsified evidence after having killed an innocent man, he then returned to the order to find his former apprentice had been killed, this drove him to leave the Jedi order, fully disillusioned from what the Jedi had become, a political tool meant to enforce the whims of petty politicians. They had become this due to an agreement made 1000 years before the prequel trilogy, called the ruusan reformation, which stopped all wars, and was essentially a giant peace treaty, while it also ripped away the Jedi order’s right to be an individual organization separate from the ruling government. So in a way, palpatine and his predecessors are at fault in a very indirect way, for every Jedi that left the order, but then there was the Jedi council of 1000 years before the prequel trilogy’s decision to accept the limitations placed on them by the ruusan reformation in exchange for peace. In the short term the ruusan reformation was a good thing however in the long term it crippled and eventually was the root of the Jedi’s destruction.(also the ruusan reformation prohibited the creation of an army, which is what the clones were, while officially the droid ‘army’ was a bunch of manufactured bodyguard droids. So the separatists got away with creating an army through a technicality, in the first and second movies in the prequel trilogy, but during the clone wars they upped production and began truly creating an army.) now I did pull the ruusan reformation from Star Wars legends, I’m unsure if it’s cannon to Disney’s Star Wars, however it is cannon to George lucas’s original Star Wars(and I think that’s what matters most, because Disney has been ‘pulling inspiration from’ *cough* copy and pasting *cough* from legends and has simply rewrited how it works to make it fit in the patchwork story they’re making. Kinda sad really.)
This is how you develop a female character. You don’t throw one into the fix and force people to like her or else they’re sexist. You create a character through time that eventually grows a legend. One of the best Star Wars characters out there, Ashoka Tano
From being a Padawan to nearly killing her old master who was reborn as Darth Vader, she’s underrated and is one of the most powerful Jedi ever seen A year later a it’s still 🔥.
no, she is a manifestation of what a better force user should be. the Jedi are as flawed as the Sith, two extremes that are equally wrong. She is really a retelling of the Revan character, but as the Apprentice rather than the Master.
Bane BlackGuard that would be cool to see. Have Ahsoka come across a holocron or something similar left by Revan and see how similar they ended up being in the end.
Kenobi was the manifestation of what a Jedi should be. Ahsoka, much like Anakin, formed too many attachments, but through that she saw how flawed the Jedi Order was. She is what Luke Skywalker believed the Jedi Order should look like - compassionate, loving and caring, having experienced that Dark Side as to know why she should reject it.
@@baneblackguard584 I don't know how you can imagine the Jedi are equaly wrong and as flawed as the Sith, Sith are litteraly genocidial maniac feeding on pain, hatred and rage, entirely self-centered and egoistical and dedicated to evil in pure form : the Dark Side. The Jedi might have been flawed by the time of the Clone Wars, but this was litteraly them at their worst, thei resolve and virtue erroded by a thousand years and their belief they had destroyed the Sith and reached victory. But even then they are still guardian of peace willing to lay down their live for complete stranger and caring about each and every life, their orthodoxy had taken too much place if their belief, but that only made them flawed, tragic heroes, not laughing sadistic vilain. Also again, the no feeling rule is not canon, Jedi are taught to avoid attachement, but that don't mean they shut down feeling, or even can't have friends.
Don't forget: Asajj Ventres, Bariss Offee and also Anakin and Obi-Wan at the same time... And off course Yoda himself teached her to use 2 blades. WTF.! She was powerful indeed

In my opinion Dave Filoni has done more for Star Wars through animation than any of the new movies. Better writing, action, story telling, character development, simply put just better Star Wars. I hope we see much more of this mans talent in the future of the franchise. Great tribute to an extraordinary character, goosebumps achieved, well done.
Agreed 100%. He's done such a good job at making star wars content lately. It's a whole lot better than the sequel movies by a mile. And thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video :D
@@Florian0293 the second and third acts of rogue one were outstanding. But the first 50 minutes were a slog. Don't get me wrong, it was a great film and is better than the sequel trilogy by miles. But imo it doesn't hold a candle to TCW.

@@matguimond92 ... And you have not seen star wars. Ahsoka was not born with it and she was anakin padawan. She earned her power so she is not a marry sue.
Ahsoka is how you write a compelling character, period. It has nothing to do with gender. I swear, people on both sides of this Disney Star Wars argument do this, injecting "female-ness" into stuff that doesn't even need it. Ahsoka is a satisfyingly well-written character, and that's all that needs to be said.
A female character shouldn’t have to be groundbreaking like Ahsoka to be respected and admired. Females shouldn’t have to go the extra mile to impress the misogynistic Star Wars fan base. Rey is a Mary Sue, but y’all say you’re not misogynistic then say stuff like this and say every female character HAS to be superior to be respected. Grow the hell up
@@ryanquinn527 Lol I don't consider myself a Star Wars fan since I haven't even watched half of what's out there for it. Anyways, in order to make a character interesting they need to have something that attracts the audience. Since when does wanting a character to be great make someone a misogynist? You really need to rethink that. All we are saying is that Ahsoka is a perfect example of what Rey was set out to be but failed, a compelling character. Regardless of gender, a character needs to have personality.
RPGs4Life as I said, I don’t like Rey either but female characters shouldn’t have to be extremely well done to have a little bit of respect, which was my response to your first comment. I will say this though, if Rey is the living embodiment of all Jedi, then she must have all Jedi knowledge in her. So why is it so far fetched that she’s very powerful? The chosen one was also very powerful naturally. I think Rey IS a Mary Sue, but I also see that the fan base can be misogynistic to a very large degree.

Ahsoka seemed more like the chosen one. the fact that she refuses to choose a side made me realize that she knew she couldn't just use one part of the force, she had to use both. she had to allow both sides of the force to be at peace within her. she in my opinion had the potential to be the most powerful and knowledgeable force user in the galaxy.
That's what I thought they would go for in the end! I guessed that maybe Rey and Kylo would end up together and they would both exist in balance in the force. They hinted so much that Rey had a hidden darkness and I hoped they would use that to reveal the lesson Luke and Anakin both fell prey to but it was kinda just a big let down. Ahsoka could have been though! I think the only reason it didn't work was because she came at the wrong time then fell under the jedi council's control!
@@samanthaodonnell3063 I was really hoping Rey would go dark side for a bit then Finn would learn from Luke after Luke realized his mistake in refusing to train Rey. Once that was done Finn brings Rey and Kylo back to the light. After that you can have a big showdown with Darth plagueis the Body Snatcher who wouldve been the enemy Luke feared the entire time. (Read up on Darth plagueis. He was the emporer's master who he killed in his sleep. Or so you thought. Pretty interesting Sith honestly and worth investigating). All a pipe dream though.
she can still be let's now forget she is like in her 40(i might be wrong) what i am saying is that she has still all the youth she needs to becaume the ultimate/strongest force user
No, Ahsoka rejects the Dark Side. Balance is not in between the Light and the Dark. The Jedi themselves represent balance in the Force. The Sith represent unbalance. What Ahsoka rejects is the Jedi Order. The Council. The Temple. The entire organization. But she is still wise and strong in the Light Side of the Force.
That part hit me so hard. It's like for a moment he was her master again, imparting knowledge. You could see Anakin peeking out. He's still in there, even if buried beneath the darkness.
@@breeze5926 Okay. I hate to do this, but I have always seen the "Vader is clouding Anakin's mind and its like they are 2 separate people" interpretation as bad and I think it kinda misses the point. Anakin always had a "dark side" in him. It wasnt the same kind of dark side that Palpatine or even Dooku had. His dark side came from the passion within in. That was always there even when he tried to hide it. There isnt much of a difference between Anakin and Vader. They are both men who are being forced to confine their personalities to what others want him to be. They both end up rejecting it for family. They are the same person, not just physically, but in every aspect.
@@masonharris9166 Both sides of him are undeniably two sides of the same coin. I said "Anakin peeking out" bc that was side of him he didnt want to show. He tried rejecting his compassionate nature after turning to the dark side. Anyone who found out his real name, he killed on the spot. Ofcourse hes still him, no matter how much he rejects it. Those traits inherit to him have always present, but hes tried to suppress either his passion or his compassion depending on where he stood with the force. And by him doing that, he essentially split himself into two halves. Thats my take on it anyway. And in that part of the scene, where the mask cracked, you could see inside his helmet, see the person inside who was both. Just a moment of reflection that they were indeed the same person, and maybe he hadn't truly killed all of what he used to be. Bc as the ending of episode 6 did point out, Vader didnt really kill Anakin. He was a complex character that finally found himself, accepted himself, and found the compassion he had lost. I fully agree with you, they are the same person. And the story of Darth Vader is a complex and interesting one.
I stopped watching after that episode. Didn’t even finish. It pissed me off so much. Didn’t finish it until they brought her back with Disney. I completely abandoned Star Wars originally because she deserved so much more recognition.

So far I prefer the animated star wars clone wars, rebels, and bad batch over the live action. Mandalorian is pretty good though, but didn't care for that Asoka, she seemed weaker in ability in that show.
I shed some tears on the end the clones where family how much she wanted to save all of them what got me is how Rex’s love for her showed when he was shaking from order 66.
Ahsoka's story is the tale of her journey towards becoming one of the few so-called "Grey Jedi" in the franchise. The color of her sabers in Rebels seems to suggest that. After her exile from the Order, she begins to understand the inherent flaws in both the Jedi and Sith philosophies, leading her to confident declaration, "I am no Jedi."
But she is a JEDI i hate how people bring up in her teenage years she claimed that. She was a rebel both figuratively and literally.... But at the end of the day she is and always will be a Jedi. Yoda knew this.... And you even see her in the Mandalorian when Djinn says he seeks a jedi to train grogo her response was not I'm no Jedi it was i can not train him... Granted she gave a BS reason cause she was currently on her own dangerous mission of saving someone she owes a life debt to... *Cough* Ezra *cough* and let's be honest she knows how dangerous it would be to have him with her. But she does go out of her way to tell him how he can find "another" jedi.
@@Smokie1080 A Jedi, perhaps. But not in the traditional sense, by any means. She respects the heart of the Jedi teachings, and is a Jedi by name. But she rejects the stubborn dogma of the old Jedi Order in order to find her own way, realizing that "balance" can be attained by letting go of the ideas of "Dark" and "Light" and just doing what feels right, instead. Like Kreia and Kyle Katarn in Legends, and like Rey in the new movies, she is a new kind of Jedi that has let go of religious preconceptions and embraced all aspects of the Force as a means to make change.
@@Aizekku she represents what the jedi should of been but lost over the years of the "high republic" aka yoda's greatest failure. But even YODA knew she was a jedi after she left.... hence why he still called her patawon tano in season 7 of the clone wars before order 66 happened. I also have absolutely NO doubt in my mind that yoda never stopped checking in on her using the force while he was on degoba but since she was doing everything right cause at the end she was taught the tru ways of the jedi because of her 2 masters who had been taught the ways by good ol qui gon. Ahsoka is very much a Jedi and she knows it. Otherwise she would of told Djinn she is NOT a Jedi from jump street when he asked her to train grogu. Im sorry but no matter how you try to spin it you never gonna convince me she not a Jedi. Also to further provide proof of her being a Jedi who is in sync with the light is the fact Mori still follows her around, something im sure would not happen if she was indeed NOT a jedi
i don’t think she is a grey jedi (who uses both dark and light sides of the force), but rather she’s further in the light side than the jedi. hence, her lightsabers are white instead of blue or green
@SAM STROMBERG and yet George and John and Dave have publicly stated ahsoka IS VERY MUCH A JEDI... man sometimes i wonder where yall have ya heads at....Matter of fact they have gone as far as saying she embodies what the Jedi Order SHOULD be not what its been!
I am a very passionate when it comes to Star Wars. And I think Ahsoka Tano is the best character in all of Star Wars. I seem to have a huge weakspot when it comes to her. That being said, I am a man who doesn't cry for almost anything. But this video, well, I've never cried harder or with more pain.
I love Ahsoka too!! It's incredible how an animated character can be so well written and so loved by many. I'm honored my video sparked those emotions in you ^^
It really is incredible. I know how a lot of people hated Ahsoka at the beginning because she was "bratty" and "annoying" and "had no purpose." I was NEVER one of them. I loved Ahsoka from the start. Couldn't tell you why, but I did. And she did have a purpose. It was Dave Filoni's intent that she was to show that Anakin wasn't rude, rash, and unfiar and what not. It was to show he was to some of the Jedi Council members because they were, in fact, being quite unfair for Skywalker. And, this is my opinion, but Ahsoka clearly looked like the main character in The Clone Wars to me. Sorry for the vent lol.
You just made me attribute a whole new meaning to the scene when Vader finds Ahsoka's lightsaber. I'm thinking it takes place after their dual on Malecore. He believes Asoka is now dead so in his grief he tracks down her cruiser and finds her lightsaber
That was what I was going for!! Now, I'm pretty sure that scene actually takes place well before their dual on malachor. BUT, for the sake of the video, I wanted to make it look like Vader found the lightsaber and was reflecting back on Ahsoka's journey she had been on :)
No it does not take after that time... And only Anakin could grief Ahsoka. Vader and grief are two words which you cannot put together as he is ultimate evil
NumberTwo NumberTwo Vader wasn't evil, and Anakin wasn't good. They were men. Even at his darkest, Vader was still capable of some semblance of mercy. In one of the comics, one of Cylo's androids falls into a lava river after trying to kill him, and her screams made Vader remember his experience on Mustafar. He used the force to drag her out of the lava and granted her the only mercy he could -- a quick death. May not sound very merciful, but really it was. Vader, of all people, knows that there are worse fates than death, and some of those fates he wouldn's wish on anybody but his worst enemy.
Oh yeah, Rosario totally nailed it! The only thing that got me was I was so expecting her to look like this, 2:05 and 2:30 Instead we got the shorter montrals and lekku she had when she was still a padawan. I know they had to do it for production reasons for now but hopefully in the future they can overcome the difficulties and let her grow into the more mature look, I think it just looks so bad ass and gives us a powerful physical representation of how much she has lived through and matured since her days as an apprentice and Fulcrum.
@@xxkai_xx2216 True, but with how far CGI has come, it would have been easy enough just to modify that post production. Usually a mixture of old and new effects end up creating the best looking results anyway.
I would never say Ahsoka is the best Star Wars character, but I would say she stands proudly beside Anakin, Obi-Wan, Luke, Leis, Han and Qui-Gon as one of the top ten characters of the franchise.
I would say outside the Original Trilogy characters Ahsoka is the strongest contender for best character in modern Star Wars. Even better than Anakin or Qui Gon in my opinion. Dave Filoni really did an amazing job. Considering Ahsoka as a character was almost universally panned by Star Wars fans during the early days of the Clone Wars series. It took guts to stick with her and have the fanbase believe in the character as direction Filoni etc had for her. And it pays off handsomely. 👍
But then Ashoka Tano tells Mando that she's no Jedi so he should go to a real Jedi who is Mace WIndu, surviving in the outer rims. Then Boba Fett is tracking down Din Djarin for baby yoda and his armor back because Moff Gideon hired him. Then when Boba Fett is tracking mando down, he goes to the planet where Mace is. Then Boba finally gets his revenge and kills Mace Windu. That would be a beautiful ending to the story of Boba Fett. Finally getting his revenge because Mace Windu killed his father Jango Fett.
Sadly, yes. I mean, not to jump on the bandwagon of "the sequels suck" - but the clone wars animated series, especially the last 3 seasons - that is the best star wars there is. It is an amazing character story, for so many.
Evidently, today strong woman means self centered asshole. Princess Leia and Ashoka are WAY better role models than any character in the newest films. Sorry SW fans but I think Capt. Janeway beats any character from the franchise hands down, in fact almost any female ST character wins.
Maybe someone will out do you? Maybe you won't be the best? But stick to it, be smart, be willing make changes to grow and to improve. You can make great work. You can at least be one of the great. Be willing to learn and grow, drop into the darkness have faith in your abilities without succumbing to hubris and the work you can make will be hard to match in time.
@@teraxe They didn't hate her for being a woman though. The vast majority of complaints was that it [her character's relationship with Anakin] interfered with the continuity at the time. The other complaints were about her personality but that's subjective.
Rey and whatever that Brie larson character was supposed to be, were just riding on the coat tails of someone else's work and back story. Ahsoka was a much more meaningful and deeper character
@@spartan1010101 I don't care about how they justified their complaints, I don't remember any complaints about Kanan ruining continuity. Clone Wars saved the prequels.
@@teraxe That's cuz nothing Kanan did interacted with the main storyline of the films (as far as I know, I never actually watched Rebels cuz I wasn't a fan of its artistic style). Ahsoka's entire storyline hinged on her connection to a main character who, prior to the clone wars series, never mentioned or hinted at him having an apprentice. Also I don't hate the Clone Wars, I actually really loved it. It gave a much deeper perspective of the war and more personality to the clones. Ahsoka was kind of a take or leave it character for me but by season 3 I already liked her being around. She was a fresh take on a jedi that isn't "special" and also wasn't drinking the Jedi Council Kool-aid.
Just hang on, you'll start to gwt older and develop full brain syndrome. Either that or early memory loss, due to you rapidly advancing years ;) I used to habe a keen memory for nerd lore, now I can't remember shit 😆
Stories that go on too long risk becoming stale and bloodless, as the initial passion is watered down. Every story needs a beginning, middle, and...yes...ending.
I like how her duels against Maul and Vader were alternated between. Kinda fitting since these two were the only ones Sidious considered to be true apprentices (since Tyranus was always a placeholder for Vader).
Just imagine if the prequels had a bit more grounding in the way the storytelling is in these series. Additionally, Ahsoka’s expulsion could have been an early event that began the erosion of Anakin’s faith in the Jedi Order
@@notjavy8196 I'll still take an amazing story executed poorly than a crappy story executed in any fashion... because even crap made from gourmet food sprinkled with gold dust is still crap.
I love how Ahsoka came from being a little and not listening padawan to a strong, powerful and courageous Jedi . Its how every character should be shown I think , it shows the powerful and loyal side of her even if she started of not liked she really is an amazing character in the clones wars and more . This video shows why she is my favourite
I'm a huge Star Wars fan and yet, When Anakin told Asoka a great master said nothing happens by accident, I immediately thought of Master Oogway from Kung-Fu Panda.
Ahsoka Tano is a really underrated character and definitely deserves more, like every hero needs a side kick, every Anakin needs an Ahsoko, every master needs a pasawan like Ahsoka. Her character development was done so nicely that she has become perhaps my most favourite star wars character. Can never forget the deep and emotional connection between Anakin and Ahsoka, Ahsoka leaving him is the most heartbreaking and emotional scene there can ever be. Really need more live action Ahsoka shows and specially a live action clone wars.
I must say I enjoyed this tribute very much, you highlighting the relationship between Ahsoka and Anakin was very appreciated. It's a tragedy to see what happened to Anakin and how he became Vader. If you didn't know why Ahsoka couldn't turn Vader to the light it's because she is part of his past and failure as Anakin Skywalker and thus needed to be destroyed. Luke was able to turn Vader to the light, because he represented the future.
Thank you very much man, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!! Yeah I've read up on why Ahsoka couldn't turn him to the light, it's some fascinating stuff! It's a shame Ahsoka couldn't help her old master, but at least Luke was able to bring him back to the light ^^
Anakin taught her well and His problems aren't hers. Anakin's slave days with his mother actually shaped his future as it does to many kids that suffer in their childhood. Palpatine manipulated those emotions and thus managed to turn him to the dark side.
“The apprentice....lives”. How unbelievably powerful that line was! Great tribute! Disney has to start a new chapter in Star Wars now that the Skywalker Saga is over. Everyone has been saying it’s gonna be Finn. I say it should be Ahsoka. Not after Ep. 9 (she’d be too old). Probably searching for Ezra, with flashbacks of her during Clone Wars and Rebels, but re-done in real life. That would be so amazing!!🤯
Thank you so much, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! And I agree, more stuff about Ahsoka would be amazing! Considering that she's appearing in the mandalorian season 2 and is also rumored to be getting her own show, I think they might actually be going in that direction :D
1991obelisk actually, according to what disney is trying to do right now, Ahsoka will probably lead the new direction lol. Her live action show is in development, she’s also gonna appear in the Mandalorian and Kenobi show according to the rumors. There is also Rebels sequel... I’m sure disney finally realized her potential after the final season of the clone wars.
I have a screen in my office that plays clips of clone wars and rebels all day long. The two best is Asoka and Vader in rebels and Asoka battling maul in clone wars. Thank you Dave Feloni for creating the best of star wars I hope it is not weird that I like both those shows better than any of the billion dollar movies (original 3 not counting because well they were done right )
Man!! I agree with both comments. Last 3 movies are jus horrible trashy recycle from the originals. But I want to see Ashoka in her own story. Great compilation y background sound!
Live Action Ahsoka Tano TV Show... Never thought I'd see this come to pass. Just wow. I am slightly confliced on this because I also wanted to get an animated show with Ashley that is a Rebels sequel and I am guessing this is what we're getting instead. I am mainly interested in the story and with it being live action, it will probably have a higher budget so that is a good thing. Plus, Rosario did an amazing job as Ahsoka and I am sure she'll nail it again. Still, I really want more of Ashley's Ahsoka as well. Hopefully she'll appear in the Bad Batch though if she does, I am guessing she will have a rather small role in it. Will the Ahsoka show begin after we last saw her in the Mandalorian? That seems most likely to me but I am guessing we might see some flashbacks and get more backstory on what happened to Ahsoka in-between Rebels and The Mandalorian. The World between Worlds logo implies to me that we might learn more about her time on Malachor after Twilight of the Apprentice, which I think up to this day remains one of the greatest mysteries sourounding this character. Clearly Thrawn will play an important role in that show given the exposition we were given in the Mandalorian and I am guessing so will Ezra. Given how they announced this one big story event that will resolve the storylines of all these shows, Thrawn might end up being the main antagonist, perhaps Moff Gideon is indeed working with him in some manner. All of you Ahsoka fans should check out the following video on TH-cam: Ahsoka Tano - The Journey, feel like you might appreciate it given all that is to come!
This is the greatest tribute in the history of tributes. I'm not sure I can find the words to describe my thoughts, but I will try. Ahsoka is my favorite Star Wars character. I have never connected with nor felt so much towards and animated character like I do with her. She's more real than even the characters from the movies at times. Her journey from fiery Padawan to the strong Force User she became has been amazing, and you protrayed it here in the most wondeful way possible. Her struggle to keep true to herself while trying to be what the Jedi are, or rather what the Jedi think they should be, to loosing her faith in them and learning to have more faith in herself, to realizing who she herself was. It was all incredible. The final season was amazing, and I also loved how Ahsoka was the main focus. It was a great full circle conclusion to her journey. One of the things I loved most was how Ahsoka grew in the Force. I've invested a lot of time in Star Wars stuff, the movies, the shows, the games, and the extended universe. One thing I learned was how the Balance of the Force isn't something constantly teetering. It's not the Light or the Dark. It's the Force. The things that teeter are the Force Sensitives. A person can achieve balance in the Force without sacrificing themself to power or shutting away their feelings. Unfortunately, by the time most realize this, they're either dead, or corrupted. I think Anakin could have learned that if Palpatine hadn't gotten to him. Obi Wan seemed to have learned it his death, as did Qui Gon. I think Luke had some understanding, but his incident with Ben broke him. Rey seems to have begun to understand it herself. I believe Ahsoka learned that through the course of her journey, and that makes her all the more amazing. I heard that she might appear in Season Two of the Mandalorian, and I will be so damn happy if she does! I didn't want to believe she was killed in her fight with Vader, and I was happy to learn she did live. Maybe the Mando series will explain where she went. I'm going to assume she died of age and became one with the Force. Her voice called out to Rey in The Rise of Skywalker, to help give Rey the strenght to keep fighting. Long ramble finally over 😅 Loved the tribute. It was amazing. May the Force be with you.
Daaaaamn, thank you so much for all the kind words, holy shit! I had no idea you were such a big star wars fan, that's awesome! :D Your description of her and the final season is what really motivated me through this entire video. Her journey was one of the most incredible journeys I've ever seen a character go through. In the end, she was not jedi, she was simply Ahsoka. She was herself, and she fought Vader not as a jedi, but as a friend avenging Anakin. I absolutely loved the clone wars and I hope to make more edits for it down the road. Thank you so much for all the kind words, it really means alot you enjoyed this tribute so much!! Maybe the force be with you Laura, always ^^
i couldn´t have said it better, i have seen many movies / series and have played many games with big lores but after i finally watched all season in the last 2 weeks i can say without a doubt that ahsoka is my favorite character of all time...and she probably will be forever...i couldn´t bring myself to start rebels after watching the last episode...but now i think i am ready to do so especially because i know she won´t die and that we will see her again :D
*Spoiler Alert* Do not read this if you haven't yet finished Rebels. When Ezra takes Grand Admiral Thrawn into the unknown and Sabine goes after him, Ahsoka goes with her. That's the last official word I've heard from any of them.
She’s always been my favorite character. She’s had such a beautiful story of her growing up and making mistakes and improving. Such a great character over all.
The fact that these clips make such a big impact and how there are so many good scenes just proves how the character development and story is so well written.
Ashoka is such a great character, even tho she is no longer a Jedi, she represents what Jedi used to be. Leaving the Order was the best she had ever done. She and Kanan Jarrus are my favorite new characters in Starwars, I can't wait to see her in The Mandalorian and I hope Ezra Bridger makes an appearance too! Also, RIP Kanan Jarrus, Jedi Knight.
Ahsoka is one of the best characters ever created by George Lucas and Dave Filloni. To finally see her, fully realized and in live action, is a great moment in my Star Wars fandom.
I absolutely love Ahsoka! To me, I believe she has had the best story arc of all the characters in just a small amount of time. The rise, the fall, perfectly woven into an iconic character in Anakin/Vader and honestly, I believe she deserves more credit and definitely more story to tell!
Anakin, speaking from experience, “I just want to keep you there one piece.” Ashoka, thinks he’s being nice. Also Anakin, *touches her with his robotic hand*
I’d like to say Asoka is probably one of the best fighting Jedi out there! She held her own against Vader, general grievous, darth marl, multiple arch troopers, dam near the whole 501st, I’d say she is one of the most talented Jedi ever created! She also fun, serious, kind and trustworthy! She battled almost everyone and lives another day! She brought cheer to the franchise and I hope to see her own movie or story in the future! I read her book, it was good, a tad outdated but good, and I read every book she starred in, I find the entire clone wars era, addicting! Keep them coming
I remember seeing her as a kid, I actually wanted to be like her and not because of the lightsabers but because of the person she was. The fact that a cartoon character had taught and touched me was amazing and inspiring.
Beautiful and absolutely perfect tribute to the best character ever written in the Star Wars universe. This is how you write and develop a female character the right way, she came into our lives as an annoying know-it-all and became a legend and fan favourite.
I don't comment on videos usually but this is worthy of mine. Ahsoka Tano is one of my favorite star wars character perhaps more than Darth Vader. She is intelligent, wise, powerful and so sexy (in her adult years). I watched her grow and improve her skills and take the star wars saga to an awesome level. She is what the Jedi order should've been but falied to achieve. She is hope, faith and what is morally right. She is a student, a friend and a leader. This video DOES Ahsoka justice. And I'm not gonna lie brought a tear to my eye. Excellent job. This video sums up the life of one of the greatest force wielders of the entire star wars saga. BECAUSE SHE IS NO JEDI. Thank you for the great video.
Ahsoka is definitely one of, if not, THE greatest Star Wars character and one of the best written characters in fiction. She has everything and she EARNED it all. Strength, Wisdom, sexiness/beauty (I mean, have you SEEN her?) Shes Just perfect.
This was amazing...Ahsoka Tano was my favorite Clone Wars character and when she re appeared in Rebels she became my favorite of all time. Dave Filoni is a genius and wrote the perfect character...
Ahsoka's character makes Anakin's turn to the dark side make so much more sense. I always thought Anakin's change in the movie was too abrupt but so many failures by the jedi council throughout his time as a master greatly contributed to Ahsoka being outcasted and the beginning of Darth Vader.. amazing storytelling.
Okay I didn’t expect this to be 10 minutes but holy hell. It was some of the best 10 minutes of Star Wars youtube has! The storytelling of this video was fantastic, ranging from her character arcs to her storylines in such spectacular fashion. While I haven’t seen the clone wars for a long time, and the only rebels I saw was a bit of s1 and the Ahsoka vs Vader episode, this just really seemed perfect to me and like you didn’t miss anything out. This was packed with excellent action too! Some of the best action sections I’ve seen you produce with wonderful parallels. Plus I like that there weren’t too much effects in this nor were they themselves too much, if you get me? Just a simple flash and zoom worked very well for this video. The reverb effect halfway in too really helped build emotion in this and the sense of memories before the dark times. And that final part with vader was just heartbreaking! To a certain extent lol. The way you incorporated Anakin’s visions from TCW of him becoming vader and Palpatine saying a few lines in the film like “a powerful sith you will become”. Ahhh. Brought a sense of darkness to your video, which is what I know you for at this point lol. Your edits feel the darkest compared to all the other editors on the platform and honestly I dig it. Again it works fantastically. What a wonderful craft dude. Loved it.
Wow, thank you so much for all the kind words, holy moley. I almost don't know what to say 🤗 I'm so glad you noticed all the attention to detail! I wanted to detail Ahsoka's journey as greatly as possible. The clone wars (and rebels too, although I only watched season 1 and 2 and 1 episode of season 4, which is where the very last clip is from) was a major part of my childhood so I wanted to dedicate everything I had to this video. It really means alot you enjoyed it so much man, thank you again
The Warleader Productions no problem man! Makes me wanna watch the latest season of the clone wars. Which I probably will. Been going and watching a few random episodes of TCW, since they aren’t actually in chronological order. Watched Savage rescue Maul last night, from the waste planet. Weird how he was a giant spider haha
This got me into tears, Ahsoka Tano could have saved Anakin and she did. For a second of a moment, Anakin Skywalker was reborn.
Honestly! I'm sitting here bawling my eyes out right now
She helped but Luke saying he would rather die than kill his father was what finally saved him. And everything that had happen in his life came flooding back at that moment. all the people that he loved and this was the last one who loved him still. His son. This was a great video. It highlights why every starwars fan should watch clone wars and rebels. They are sooo well made. It makes the movies look pale by comparison. the last 3

No, there was no other way
Remember what qui gon said to yoda
Me tooo I’m fucking crying
Let's just take a moment and acknowledge the "I am no Jedi" scene is maybe the most powerful face-off in all of Star Wars.
All of it.
It's definitely one of the most powerful scenes ever, that's for sure!
@@TheWarleader It's a tossup between Ashoka/Vader and Obi-Wan/Maul (final battle on Tatooine) for the #1 spot :)
But what about "I aM aLl ThE jEdI?!"
Palpatine knew Ahsoka could have saved Anakin from the Dark Side... so he got her discredited and removed from his side.
Tricksy bastard.
"Sith control everything"
I never thought is that great point!
This is how you develop a character* female or not
I agree that Ahsoka is one of the best characters. I was excited to see her in the Mandalorian. ❤️🙌🏻
I agree but rex is still my fav
You mean don’t throw them in like they did the male?
Agreed, I didn't like Ashoka at first but with each passing episode she grew on me.
From being a Padawan to nearly killing her old master who was reborn as Darth Vader, she’s underrated and is one of the most powerful Jedi ever seen
A year later a it’s still 🔥.
Indeed, she's an absolute badass!

I'm telling my kids this is the greatest Padawan in the Galaxy....
@PurpleOwlAnimation In Vader's timeline Revan is prehistory xD
Ahsoka is the manifestation of what a Jedi should be making her, objectively, the best character of all Star Wars
no, she is a manifestation of what a better force user should be. the Jedi are as flawed as the Sith, two extremes that are equally wrong.

No, the jedi could never be as perfect as ahsoka. Their extreme ideals lack balance and harmony; ahsoka is far more morally correct than any jedi

@@MrSupercapra there's another group that has balance at least a bit more and they aren't jedi or sith.

One of the best characters of Star Wars and my favorite female character of Star Wars. Ahsoka is how you write a compelling character that is female.

Ahsoka Tano. Best character to come out of the Star Wars saga. She’s just so damn likeable.
@@obiwankenobi4717 No, Vader had conflict in him. His son Luke sensed the "good" in him.
I love that theory
Anyone after seeing Ashoka in Mandalorian

Oh yeah, Rosario totally nailed it! The only thing that got me was I was so expecting her to look like this, 2:05 and 2:30
Instead we got the shorter montrals and lekku she had when she was still a padawan. I know they had to do it for production reasons for now but hopefully in the future they can overcome the difficulties and let her grow into the more mature look, I think it just looks so bad ass and gives us a powerful physical representation of how much she has lived through and matured since her days as an apprentice and Fulcrum.
well i cant unread that.,..
@@anydaynow01 she couldn't have them long because she wouldn't be able to move her head around and do flips and stuff its hard acting in long tails
wel you know its personaly diffirent for everyone for me its luminara ahsoka yoda qui gon mace and anakin.
Best!
I would say the only person better than Ahsoka is R2
I would say that, and I grew up in a time when there was only three movies
It took me a while to get to the last episode, because I didn’t want to see this series end. I have finally did it and it is only beautiful.
Agreed. The series ended in such a heartfelt way. It's so nice that this show finally got it's ending after so long :D
The Warleader Productions Indeed
what series?
soklot clone wars
I know... I just want a game or something based on asoka
Mando finds her and tells her he needs a jedi, ashoka replies: I am no jedi. Mando leaves immediately...
Then the child shows how strong in the force he is
Din just stares into the camera like he's on the office
But then Ashoka Tano tells Mando that she's no Jedi so he should go to a real Jedi who is Mace WIndu, surviving in the outer rims. Then Boba Fett is tracking down Din Djarin for baby yoda and his armor back because Moff Gideon hired him. Then when Boba Fett is tracking mando down, he goes to the planet where Mace is. Then Boba finally gets his revenge and kills Mace Windu. That would be a beautiful ending to the story of Boba Fett. Finally getting his revenge because Mace Windu killed his father Jango Fett.

The way Ahsoka is so well written in an animated series makes Rey feel like a joke to be honest.
Right
Rey was a joke by the time of the middle of the first movie.
Sadly, yes.
I mean, not to jump on the bandwagon of "the sequels suck" - but the clone wars animated series, especially the last 3 seasons - that is the best star wars there is.
It is an amazing character story, for so many.
Rey was a joke.

That's the favorite excuse for bad directors (Ryan Johnson)😙💭
Very true.

...And a lot of people are fucking stupid.
Evidently, today strong woman means self centered asshole. Princess Leia and Ashoka are WAY better role models than any character in the newest films. Sorry SW fans but I think Capt. Janeway beats any character from the franchise hands down, in fact almost any female ST character wins.

Fake Star Wars fans: "People don't like Rey because they just don't like strong women in Star Wars"
Ahsoka Tano: Am I a joke to you?
The majority of star wars fans hated her too at the beginning it took her years to earn the respect of the haters.
I wish I could completely forget this series so I could have the pleasure of watching it again

Same here, clone wars was such a good show. At least we got a finale tho, especially after so long.
Thank you!! And yeah I saw those two as her biggest duels she's ever had, so I thought it fitting to show them both off for the climax of the video.
She’s the best. The best thing Star Wars has ever done.
fr a true character that progressed instead of throwing in rey and making her instantly powerful for feminism
Just imagine if the prequels had a bit more grounding in the way the storytelling is in these series.
Additionally, Ahsoka’s expulsion could have been an early event that began the erosion of Anakin’s faith in the Jedi Order
Ikr? The prequels could have been less meme worthy and more impressive films if they had the level of detail that the clone wars has

I'm a huge Star Wars fan and yet, When Anakin told Asoka a great master said nothing happens by accident, I immediately thought of Master Oogway from Kung-Fu Panda.
hahahaha
Well said
I'd also say part of the reason was how she left him, that didn't help her cause
@@noakhstrelec8478 Your right Vader was angry over how Ahsoka left him.
Anakin taught her well and His problems aren't hers. Anakin's slave days with his mother actually shaped his future as it does to many kids that suffer in their childhood. Palpatine manipulated those emotions and thus managed to turn him to the dark side.
She is the best character of Star Wars Series, with unbreakable values and great discipline, she is unique! This got me into tears, I love her. :'(
“The apprentice....lives”.

Her live action show is in development, she’s also gonna appear in the Mandalorian and Kenobi show according to the rumors. There is also Rebels sequel... I’m sure disney finally realized her potential after the final season of the clone wars.
At the end of the clone wars, she was 17. So she's about 41 in the Mandalorian season 2
She really was fantastically written, developed, and acted. What a privilege it was to watch her grow up

I'm just worried that the Ahsoka show will ruin her legacy
Long ramble finally over 😅
Loved the tribute. It was amazing. May the Force be with you.
Daaaaamn, thank you so much for all the kind words, holy shit! I had no idea you were such a big star wars fan, that's awesome! :D
Your description of her and the final season is what really motivated me through this entire video.

That was so beautiful 🥺 It was so amazing to watch Ahsoka grow up so much over this series
I almost don't know what to say 🤗
I'm so glad you noticed all the attention to detail!
The Warleader Productions shared it to my friend, as promised. He really enjoyed it
Dude, Seriously, You or the group of you deserve Oscars for this Video and for the Amazing Soundtrack to it.
