- Is there anything faster up Hartside than a proper Supermoto?? I don't think there is, and even if there was, there is no way it'd be more fun!!
Wheelies, knees down, turbo BOOST, snow, burning bacon, sparks and a crash, we had it all, apart from heat, there was none of that all day.

Rear end slid out? Cold tyres? Something slippery on the tarmac? Slipped on the white line? Weird, you were neither too quick, nor did you seem too eager on the throttle.
I honestly think I was just sat too far forward and still leaning when I went to accelerate for the straight an the rear slipped other than that idea I have no clue haha. I Wish that the while thing was on film

That hairpin is a lot sharper than you think when watching it, I prefer going up it than down. Personally prefer the faster section to Alston than the technical bit going down. It's a steep drop down and a sharp left hander. I think that's why he picks this corner to film as everyone has to go slow, meaning better shots of the bikes and cars.
@V4demon_ has got it spot on. The corner, and how sharp it is, self regulates how fast people can go. 20mph is enough, 30mph is scary as you like.
Other bits of the road are faster, with better sight lines, but we run the risk of distracting people at a much higher speed, and nobody wants that.
