The 4-2-4 will always have a problem as the opponent will always overload the midfield area which I think slot addressed later on by shifting to 4-2-3-1 later on in the match and the main difference I have noticed in klopp and slots system is that if Liverpool were up, they still used to gegenpress and try to keep attacking and keeping the high line under klopps reign whereas in slots reign if we have a comfortable 2-0 lead then we switch back to some risk averse football by sort of having a low block.
