  • Our road trip through Morocco has begun as we eave Marrakesh and make our way towards some of the coastal towns of this beautiful country.
First up we had a few more spots to see in Marrakesh with our first ever visit in the incredible Bahia Palace - honestly designing our future house after the Moroccan architects.
Our first stop is the coastal town of Essaouira, where we got to see the medina and a quick stop into the blue boat fishing village.
In the morning we made our way to Casablanca to see one of the most jaw dropping Mosques in the world - the Hassan II Mosque.
Final stop is the capital city of Rabat and it's unlike any town we have ever seen in Morocco so far.
Tour we are on in Morocco: www.traveltalk...

    Great travel video!
I was really put into a nice feeling due to this video. The choice of music, the Moroccan landscape passing by, the majestic sight of Moroccan architecture filmed in great detail. I was really taken away by the architecture of some Morrocan mosques in this video. I also liked the combination of shots from Marrakech and shots from a city along the coastline.
One got a *real sense of adventure* in this video - that is something that radiates positivity and the choice of music added to that!
The blue city that was shown and the blue boats filmed along the shoreline of Morocco were something that fuelled my imagination as I'm an artist myself - nice to have one's imagination bent a bit due to this video!
Something that would have made the video even better?
I would have loved to learn a bit about the *personal* side to things in this video. What you experienced and felt from your own perspectives not just the objective side to things. It's interesting to see great images from all kinds of places in Morocco but how was your journey for yourselves as travellers and film-makers? How did you feel, did something horryifying happen? You could build a greater story, introduce some encounter with a local as an example and reconnect what you see with how you actually felt yourselves.
You had some personal references to things beyond the images we saw in frame, the hint of a greater story, but I would have loved to sense a bit more what you felt as persons doing this, your personal reflections.
Did you change in some way during this trip as an example.
Visually some things can also be improved but that is just from my point of view: Great with true realism to the video-footage. Nice in a way that you don't use filters, that you don't process the video images just use raw data. But sometimes it can be cool to do some post-production to alter some shots to increase the feelings conveyed by yourselves as travellers.
As an example: If you show a cat walking along a table in the Medina in Marrakech then make the raw footage transform into blue sometimes or warp the image to a still to describe the sensation you got as you watched the cat walking along the table. That perhaps reminded you of the blue city you filmed on your journey at some point!
The key is to not over-do it just to add emotion to what you actually filmed to describe the feeling you had at the time of shooting.
But this is just a personal choice - something I use myself when I make videos like this.
    Great video!
If you feel like it check out my travel page on my homesite "Continuation" where one can find all sorts of articles concerning travel journeys around the globe conducted by me - including Morocco.

@@jpmcb1698 Yeah 13 million tourists a year 1st incident in almost 10 years. While there is everyday a mass shooting in the States. Fact is that Morocco is safer than most European countries and definately safer than the US.

      @@jpmcb1698 www.moroccoworldnews.com/2018/11/257423/morocco-among-safest-countries-france-us/amp/
I know the extreme right doesn't like facts and like to indulge themselves with alternitive facts. They try to push a narrative that the other is inhuman and they have the moral high ground. That's why incidents like this are being milked very hard. But the hate crimes these right wing extremists pertutrade themselves daily are being ignored. Its pure brainwashing to try to get to get the western mind ripe for what they are really planning. Their plan is eventually genocide against all brown people.

    • @chrishanssen6738
      @chrishanssen6738 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@jpmcb1698 First of all. Safety isnt just measured by the murder rate. And if you where to look at only the murder rate its still better than a sizable chunk of Europe and extremely better than the US.
Secondly. Morocco has surpassed the 13 million tourist mark this year. Last year it was 11 million.
And last. You are extreme right. If you know it or not. You use extreme right tropes and myths that are all debunked and only seen in fake news sites and extreme right forums.
So please keep your ignorance to yourself and dont waste my time anymore.

We felt that as well, especially right at the start, it was a lot of jumping on buses, seeing a little bit (but a lot of spots as you said), arriving late afternoon then doing it again. As you can see it was 3-4 days in this vlog which we normally never do but it did get better towards the end (Chefchauen and Sahara).
