this scene broke me even after reading the comic and knowing this scene is coming i was not prepared KIT CONNOR the absolute brilliant actor you are and the way aunt and his dynamic just works so beautifully. i will always be heartbroken by this scene.
Kit's acting is absolutely heartbreaking in this scene. This whole season deserves awards. Hayley was such a perfect replacement when Olivia was unavailable. These conversations on this show always feel so real.
I love how supportive she is, and despite that we all know she would love Charlie, she hasn’t met him so to give your Nephew great advice about his boyfriend that you haven’t even met is just amazing to me
Carrying that much weight on your shoulder is hard. As a teen I did that. My parents were not in a good place and I decided I could assume a large part of the day to day burdens. I wanted to protect my mom. I even started work at 15 to help with the household bills. My grandmother and I would talk, but I could not share about the hardest things. Only my dog knew that. This scene reminded me of being an adult at 15 and not being a teen.
The love and closeness that is felt between Nick and his aunt, is everything. Family support always counts. Although this scene broke my heart, I loved it from beginning to end. ❤
I hope we get to see more of Auntie next season!! Her voice is smooth & calming & her relationship with Nick ii awesome! Well dont to both of them in this scene!! ❤❤😊😊
Aside from the weight of Charlie's ED, this scene is so powerful in the way Diane validates Nick's feelings whilst giving the hard advice he needed to hear. "It's okay to be scared", "that's a lot for a 16-year-old", "I know... I know... I know...", but "that dependency isn't healthy for anyone". What a beautiful and important scene 🤍
This is the most touching and inspiring part of season 3. It's a good idea for everyone to take some moments to reflect on what is LOVE and how it feels being loved.
Hayley Atwell I love you 😢 ❤❤❤❤❤❤ It’s funny that Hayley is Agent Carter in the Marvel Universe, Nick wears the Captain America costume in this season and Joe Locke is now in the Marvel universe in Agatha All Along
Olivia Coleman is in the MCU as well, unfortunately she was in Secret Invasion. She was the best part to be sure, the only enjoyable part, but even her massive talents couldn't save it.
If you can't have Olivia Colman, having Hayley Atwell is the next best thing. Although changed somewhat, this scene still packs the emotional punch that it has in the book. Both she and Kit did a phenomenal job.
Glad this was shown, as so many people have eating disorders and body images issues. Nice that the show is letting people know to ask for help from professional. Mazel
I am sO THANKFUL FOR THIS SCENE, I can't even express it. The talk I wish someone had given me when I was sixteen and taking on the responsibility for my friends' mental health and safety. So, so important that shows like this exist. ❤
Is it wrong for a 64 year old male to blub like a baby watching this scene? I’ve only watched the first two seasons and I cried watching those! The acting is first class by these young actors! 😭
Absolutely love hayley atwell. Shes fantastic and i wish she would be in more stuff Also great to see kit and joes acting develop through the seasons 😊
Awee this scene was so emotional in the comic and I love the show's adaptation ❤️ I wish it was his mom saying all of this instead like the comics, but I do appreciate his Aunt also. Glad David wasn't a part of the holiday 🤣
I love Diane pretty much ,especially her line to talk with Nick "but that dependency isn't helathy for anyone", that's lot of mean for me cuz i know it's true.
I really don't understand the people who 'fight' over which is better " Heartstopper" OR "Young Royals"; I do empathise because in both shows not just the "Stars"who stand out, but the whole ensemble & the AMAZING writing & direction. For myself they're both perfect in their own way; especially in that both productions have cast actors who not only play young people who are discovering their own sexuality, but are doingbitbin real life. Both casts play excellent multi dimensional characters ; are out & articulate - even if it ment that Kit Connor was forced to out himself. I've seen a couple of very alarming TikToks, where girls are totally objectifying, offering hints on how to approach him & blinded by their objectifying, just don't notice, how exhausted he looks! I doubt even one of them understand the sheer will to get through one show a day; let alone two.,in the comments section, you'd be forgiven for thinking ,they're taling about a cute puppy. Not a healthy way to treat, a professional, who is also a gentleman - a very rare combination in today's culture - where, short of been seen to use an endoscope, the current "stars" - lack dignity in their desperation to be "seen",constantly over sharring in their quest to sell their new movie/book/cancer diagnosis, just to generate those disembodied copies of them self; he is Kit, a professional,😊 natural actor NOT, Nick Nelson & the same goes for Joe Locke ,concerning Joe - though I'm sure most here, arenight to see, his, faultless performance to date in " Agetha all Along": for those who went online to disparage his looks, body etc,I hope you're in a special corner of hell being force-fed steel fillings. The same can be said for Simon - Omar Rudberg - I still find it hard to believe that was his first acting job - & that he now has a place in the MCU & with his smokey eyes, incredible American actor & comedic timeing, while holding his own with Icons of stage & screen. Regarding Edvin & Omar we again have two AMAZING young leads & all the stuff above ,applies to both of them & the production values of "YRs". Edvin has been acting since he was practically foetal, brought all his expertise & a great director,to create an Iconic character. Omar, already know for his boy band,is a total revelation. He also has a beautiful singing voice,I'm delighted I was given a couple of tickets to watch him live at" Heaven"; does that young man know how to work a crowd?! My only problem & it's been the same with Beyonce,Taylor Swift,Troye Siven & now Omar,is the horrible noise from all the obsessed fans, who want to stand & sing along - its fine for Adele to tell the security guards to leave him along - without thinking of ALL the people who'd payed silly money for their tickets. I'm lucky I rarely if ever not given VIP/backstage passes,so I see well & the screeching, wailing noise of people who've forgotten to think about others as they shriek along with every song drowning out the performance you came to see. I'm sorry for the ramble, but, after seeing Omar at Heaven on the 21st,if I'd not got a great view & havevused earplugs since I was around 16, to see the beautiful, talented young man ,not just go through his set on autopilot, but, danced & flirted through the performance. When I was not just the age they're playing in both shows as well as in real life a part that was a MASSIVE step, all of us knowing someone who'd been thrown out of home at Xmas! So regardless of my little niggles,I absolutely love these actors/singers,who can do what they want & give all those kids out in small towns world wide, hope, that things will get better. Having seen Troye Sivan at his Wembley show(where Ross Lynch, did a cameo),my feeling is Omar ,when not if, he breaks America,at 25 has written/co written some awesome songs this year alone, still hasn't reached a quater of his full potential. Edvin, whom we can look forward to in "28 years later",next year; both young men created a great cologne - through Omar Beauty. If you're still here,my apologies for my dyslexia and very best wishes to you & yours👋⭐️✌️
My Long distance girlfriend never opens up about things and it worries me because she always says something that gets me thinking she's hiding something and doesn't want to talk about it. I try to talk to her about things, but she just says everything is fine or tries to change the subject [I worry about her & I love her]
the actress who played the aunt was fine, but everything about her scenes always felt like "Olivia Coleman was not available for this season, so we are just creating a substitute to replace her and the audience better swallow it"
this scene had me in tears way more than any other scene in episode 4 (except Nick & Tao at the party), because I am Nick.. my partner has a mental illness and I've tried to fix him, because I love him so much and when she said "love can't fix mental illness" it killed me, but also helped me understand what my partner needs. They did so well with this on an emotional, but also educational level 🥲
With Nick working about Charlie's mental health, he is neglecting his own. I love that his aunt told him what he needed to hear, and how she did it.
this scene broke me even after reading the comic and knowing this scene is coming i was not prepared KIT CONNOR the absolute brilliant actor you are and the way aunt and his dynamic just works so beautifully. i will always be heartbroken by this scene.
I love how the filmmakers recreated how this scene 🎬 played out in the graphic novel.
Dialogue on the beach… throwing stones in the dark… everything.
I love Hayley Atwell as Nick's aunt. The way she talked to him is very comforting and real.
Kit's acting is absolutely heartbreaking in this scene. This whole season deserves awards. Hayley was such a perfect replacement when Olivia was unavailable. These conversations on this show always feel so real.
I love how supportive she is, and despite that we all know she would love Charlie, she hasn’t met him so to give your Nephew great advice about his boyfriend that you haven’t even met is just amazing to me
Crying my eyes out😭 That was such a beautiful scene. Give Kit Connor a second Emmy award!!!!
Even more 2 3 4 5

I remember crying over this scene. Nick has been Charlie's rock and it's healthy for him to be vulnerable.
I know we all missed Olivia Coleman, but can we take a moment to bask in Hayley Atwell?!
She was so brilliant I thought that they had recast her as Nick's mum.
Yes, she's absolutely brilliant!
Truth.
I love his Aunt so much. I hope we get to see more of her and maybe even her and his mum together next season if Olivia comes back ♡
This is the most touching and inspiring part of season 3. It's a good idea for everyone to take some moments to reflect on what is LOVE and how it feels being loved.

Bawling my eyes out I'm so amazed to see this great actor I'm glad to see it and the dynamic of this is ❤
Glad this was shown, as so many people have eating disorders and body images issues. Nice that the show is letting people know to ask for help from professional. Mazel
I really appreciated when, just before the credits in E4, they direct people to resources for EDs.
I am sO THANKFUL FOR THIS SCENE, I can't even express it.
The talk I wish someone had given me when I was sixteen and taking on the responsibility for my friends' mental health and safety. So, so important that shows like this exist. ❤
This whole story line seemed so well done. ❤
I was crying so hard in this episode 😭
The credits at the end of this episode with the number to call when you have mental health or something you want to talk about made me cry 😢
Is it wrong for a 64 year old male to blub like a baby watching this scene? I’ve only watched the first two seasons and I cried watching those! The acting is first class by these young actors! 😭
Best aunt ever
Agent Carter is Nick Nelson’s auntie. Wow!
This scene broke me on my first watch and still does every time I watch it 😭😭
Literally same.
Absolutely love hayley atwell. Shes fantastic and i wish she would be in more stuff
Also great to see kit and joes acting develop through the seasons 😊
this whole scene is perfect. still crying
Awee this scene was so emotional in the comic and I love the show's adaptation ❤️ I wish it was his mom saying all of this instead like the comics, but I do appreciate his Aunt also. Glad David wasn't a part of the holiday 🤣
Hayley Atwell, you are a treasure ❤
I love Diane pretty much ,especially her line to talk with Nick "but that dependency isn't helathy for anyone", that's lot of mean for me cuz i know it's true.
That heartwrenching scene is beautiful with Hayley hugging Kit. It makes me want to cry. 😭😭
One of the best scenes….
Please Renew Heartstopper 🥺🥺🥺🥺
^
He'll just... It broke my heart
guys stop i can’t 😭😭
this scene is DESTROYING me inside out.
This broke me 😢
Is that Agent Carter?
a teenager shouldn't be helping another teenager with such a big mental problem
❤❤

Incredible scene❤ Do someone know which is the song as they talk? The My vine song is just not the same😅
I kind of relate to Nick in this, but also not completely
My Long distance girlfriend never opens up about things and it worries me because she always says something that gets me thinking she's hiding something and doesn't want to talk about it. I try to talk to her about things, but she just says everything is fine or tries to change the subject [I worry about her & I love her]
Nick is always trying to get Charlie to open up [I try and get my girlfriend to open up]
You can't help others when we can help yourself It seems like nick is too sad to help charlie
Does anyone know what the song is called in this scene
My Vine by Wasia project ( Will Gao as Tao plays the Keyboards and his sister is the vocals )
😂 16,yr old kid with big muscles 😅 real lol
Not the TH-cam warning 💀💀💀
I can’t
the actress who played the aunt was fine, but everything about her scenes always felt like "Olivia Coleman was not available for this season, so we are just creating a substitute to replace her and the audience better swallow it"
