Much of this scene was improv, and basically the only direction she had was to check behind the sofa, and yes, her mental and physical balance are both magnificent!
Using her burner phone to demand that her secret Palace security boyfriend "put these two lovesick homosexuals on the phone with one another, I don't care what any of those wrinkled white men at Buckingham Palace have to say about it ...or so help me god, you will never see me naked again," was a brilliant line that I will forever adore. Also a nod to the fact that Shaan & Zahra, as POC, have more in common with the "lovesick homosexuals" than they do with the "wrinkled white men," and they're both well aware of it. Hope you have seen it now. It really is a good story. The right balance of it being almost a Hallmark romance yat wonderfully believable real life feel.
Taylor and Uma were BRILLIANT here!! 😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 That coming out scene was a caress to the soul🥰, everyone who decide to come out deserve this kind of support specially from the family. No matter who you decide to love, it doesn't makes you different. Love Is love always! Happy pride month! ❤️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
This scene is classic comedy, with all three actors absolutely brilliant. Zahra nails every scene she's in. Taylor is so so good. "Good morning." totally deadpan.
Touched my heart when his mother was understanding and chatted with him about it. Love it! Haven't watched it yet. But have a feeling its a pretty good one.
I cannot get over the fact when the wardrobe was opened, he was sitting there like a pensive poetry writer with his hand like that. So freaking unserious.
I'm glad these shorts popped up in the shorts while I was scrolling through early hours this morning, even happier the movie was on Prime Video in NZ... I was hooked from watching the cake scene, the rest was just icing! Love the movie, was extremely well cast, the co-leads easy comfort in each other was a sight to behold, their emotions, and gentle touches throughout spoke just as much as their spoken words. Thank you for bringing such an amazing cast together with an awesome script 😊 I was choking from laughter throughout much of it and crying in other parts.. Needless to say, I was late for work, even though it was a work from home day 🤣
I love this movie. I have watched it three times. I really wish it would go on DVD so I can add it to my collection of movies. And that is one of my favorite scenes when he hast to tell mom.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lord Mountbatten, cousin to the previous Queen and great great great grandson of Queen Victoria, is openly gay. He was married to a woman, divorced amicably, and his former wife walked him down the aisle when he married his husband.
hey she said to act he has a vitamin D deficiency around Henry, so technically she got what she asked for-Alex may have just taken it a little too literally lol

First time finding anything about this show and.. That coming out scene? I didn’t think it would make me so emotional but it made me cry. Im bi myself, really close to my mom, and she’s someone I used to look up to for a really long time, but if she ever found out… Thats a great scene.
I love how Zahra assumes that Henry's the bottom and he doesn't deny it.

As is the curtsy, which takes some doing in that skirt and those shoes.

Uma Thurman as the POTUS is the best casting ever. I loved how supportive Ellen was of Alex.
