I have watched the full documentary during last week, roughly one hour a day before going to bed. It was one of the best moments of my day if not the best.
You have lived a stunning adventure, in an immensely beautiful scenery that the boreal forest is. The sight of those imposing mountains and canyons, that powerful river…the solitude and peace of those moments fishing for grayling…or hoping to find gold. Pure bliss is what the Providence has granted you.
Also you showed a wise balance between boldness and smartness when tackling those dangerous whirlpools and boils. Obviously you have great experience kayaking but it certainly takes balls to do what you did. Sometimes it was really scary doing that being completely alone.

Yep, after watching it a second time this is my favorite adventure so far. I really liked the music choices for this one. And as always, I loved watching you read and navigate the varying whitewater and powering through the tough portages. Your fortitude never ceases to amaze me , Jim. The way you keep a positive attitude and always manage to make hilarious jokes in the face of a daunting portage is inspirational. The scenery you capture is also an inspiration for others; some to get out and see natures beauty for themselves while they can, as well I'm sure, a fond reminder of adventures past for those who can't.

I have the problem of being alone in nature a lot nothing like this yet when you see something so magnificent and then realize your by yourself ya just wish somebody was there to share it with you. This is as close as possible excellent footage excellent dialog bad jokes. Just perfect. Say hello to Torre (? Spelling) and the kids. I’m Ron living in the jersey shore 500 feet deon the ocean My grandparents rip from Nova Scotia. I bdein the Bronx originally our nature was a squirrel and pigeons lol. And the Bronx zoo. Going back and watching this from last year! Love the uncut versions of your videos thew best, for sure. Always wondered what type of hat you're rocking in your vids ( for at least the past couple Yukon trips), I've been looking for a nice simple waxed canvas bucket hat like that for, what feels like, years!

Thanks a lot, the hat is made by Tilley Endurables. It’s cotton duct - canvas but you would have to wax it yourself.

May I make one request for future videos? I would love to hear from the people you run across a bit more! The hunting camp, the trippers at taco bar, if they want to be in the video, I'd love a little insight on their trips and their lives! Hearing two adventuring groups sharing stories would be an excellent addition to these vids, at least for me!

Wow quite the interesting trip. Great trip. I guess you're seeing why no one runs this. Tough rapids and poertages, Glad you are takingg the safe but energy draining routes,

Thanks a lot, you can see here at 6:38 why I don’t typically use a front to scout rapids. th-cam.com/video/cFmkl_saYn8/w-d-xo.html
