I love how invested Jeff is in the performance, a real class act - and tbh I hold nothing against him but this is a lot better than the last time he played piano on the show, probably because he has the band backing him up
Remember "The right stuff"? There´s a scene with JG in front of the TV-set, where´s a quiz show going on and they´re playing some music. "Straighten up and fly right" was the title...
Imelda can sing ANYTHING , but I would love her to cut a jazz record like Julie London/do "torch songs" like Ruth Etting - she has the range and acting ability to do a great job on this repertoire and would be vocal rest compared to her Rock repertoire.
She's taking a break, doing a bit of smooth and sultry Imelda, for a change of pace after more than 15 years of Rock'n'Roll, but I strongly suspect she'll be back before long. So don't get your knickers in a twist, you don't need to fear change.
I think the rockabilly thing was more her ex husbands genre or maybe she just wanted to go more mainstream. She was ace at it so I hope she goes back to it some day.
Emilda, she's gorgeous, with beautyful powerful voice🥰
Can you imagine him and Hugh Laurie doing like a dueling piano bar scene?! No more fun could be had than that scenario! 😄
IMHO, Imelda May is the star of this bit.
Not to mention the rock-solid back line, guitar, organist, and tenor sax player.
Imelda May is ALWAYS the star of EVERY bit!
Imelda May shows what a great natural jazz singer she really is....more please......
An unexpected pleasure. I'm a big fan of Imelda, and she did a great job. Goldbum is a fine jazz pianist, and seems to be having a lot of fun here.
I wish to God I age as well as Jeff goldblum
Imelda may , traditional Irish rockabilly and jazz ,what an evolution, Jeff is the ultimate professional Actor and musician 🤔🙉🙈🙊🕊️🕊️
I love the way that he plays the piano and his he dressed l love his jacket
FABULOUS !!!!!v
She is so amazing.
That was absolutely fabulous !
Absolutely love it! Awesome Imelda! We love you to bits!
She's drop dead gorgeous. Doesn't sing too bad either.
Love Jeff and Graham
What a treat this was
Haha even Rowan looked uncomfortable at 5:12 😂😂 love goldblum!!
LIKE LIKE LIKE LIKE LOVE LOVE LOVE!

That was great
The band is so tight....
I'm sure they are happy to be carrying Jeff. His skills are modest at best.
Sax dude is James King from Fitz and the Trantrums

Wow… that genre really suits her.
wonderfull
CHECK OUT >> BLUE HARLEM --
IMELDA sang with them 2008-ish -- big band style !!
What a pleasant surprise. Glad Ms.May has ditched the rockabilly persona. I never knew Mr. Goldblum was a jazzer----shades of Thelonius Monk I think.
SOOOOO MAFIA 2 LOVE IT !!!!
Amabilmente... amabile
Dayum!!!!
What a babe!
now i want to play Mafia 2 again!
The musical star of this clip is the vocalist, not the piano player.
It's nice to see Jeff Golblum getting some work. The poor guy must wonder where his next check is coming from most of the time.
The guy's been working steady since 1974, and has more projects upcoming.
Gold bum is beans brother

swing it Kenny..
Cheryl Cole sister
Someone told me Jeff has a whole other career besides jazz piano.
What happened to rockin Imelda?
She's taking a break, doing a bit of smooth and sultry Imelda, for a change of pace after more than 15 years of Rock'n'Roll, but I strongly suspect she'll be back before long.

This actually reminds me a lot of her early work with Blue Harlem.
@@TheDarkestSmurf yawn.........
True enough. I loved her stint with Blue Harlem.

Goldblum is a very good accompanist but poor soloist.
